    Hey guys, I'm thinking of starting a weekly server zues series that will be a little more role-play style than just general wander in and shoot things. For those who remember the base that we did a while a go that we had to get all set up and such, I would like to get that actually going as a constant thing. The idea so far is to have the decisions made by the group of players, whoever is elected the leader and such will make the choice of how they go about the missions before them. I'll be guiding you as little as I can, acting more like a DM than an external 'leader.' The general story idea so far: You guys will be a part of Charlie PLT from 3rd Battalion, 2nd Parachute Brigade. Your initial role in Altis will be to support the NATO forces annex of the Island nation by seeking and destroying resistance groups and insurgencies on the Island, as well as performing a multitude of high risk missions against CSAT positions and convoys. Every Mission you will receive pieces of intel, that will be added to a log, from which your leader will decide what your next action should be. Further Intel on your mission will be given on the day of initial attack (the first night of which ever day is voted on). For those interested, please vote on the poll which days are best for you and we'll get it on the best day (one most are available for). Also add your name below and what equipment you'd like (within reason) so we can get most of the main roles sorted (medic, AT, autorifle, grenadier, marksmen, ect.). If there are any pilots interested in joining as well, you will be our go to call for infill and extract, but the rules do state you can't be our solo pilot.

    Firstly Thanks @Tracuer For hosting this Awesome Zeus Mission. And thanks to all those who came along. So over the course of 4 Hours @Tracuer ran a challenging but great zeus mission that saw Charlie PLT Infiltrate, Seek out and Destroy IEDs that could prove harmfull for BLUFOR Units. Along with this we were tasked to investigate possibilities of Intel and information relating to AAF Involvement within that AO. We started off very well, moving through the first town and encampment with ease, even managing to ascertain a hostile AAF Prisoner, Whilst we suffered minimal casualties we managed to push through to the AAF occupied town of Zaros, once the AAF had spotted us, They arranged heavy reinforcements from the CSAT. This however challenging resulted in the need for Charlie PLT to call in the support of eight BLUFOR Squads. With the support of the combined NATO forces Charlie PLT was able to evacuate the town of Zaros in search for Intel and IEDs in other towns. Sadly Charlie PLT had to suffer through another onslaugh by the CSAT forces in the small town of Therisa. From there we were forced to push through the town of Poliakko. Once clear HICOM reported warehouses with stored Intel located in the town of Zaros. An thus Charlie PLT made its way through Zaros clearing from building to building to finaly reach and secure all Intel, Unfortunately for Charlie PLT the Intel was coded and was turned over to the capable hands of HICOM. In the begining we started out with thirteen strong CTRG Troops. Unfortunately we faced the realistic ventures of war and lost almost half our numbers. Thanks @Rogmantosh for the Great Screenshots

    As @Snowwiiee said, Ramming is fail VLR, allowing trolls to do something they enjoy, that would be allowed in the ruleset. Another way I see it is that when it is used in combat it's just lazy, get out and use your guns. Overall, not a fan of ramming in any situations the risk over reward of a successful ram is extremely unbalanced.

    These rules have already gone inder intense discussion and scrutiny from rebel leaders, cops and staff and the current ruleset is what we arrived at. It mainly acts to prevent gangs from exploiting the game system and hitting bank when it is mostly low ranks on and the bare minimum number online with overwhelming force and firepower to make easy money or gold... i.e: oh you want to rob bank with 4 probs and 4 pubs on, when you got a dozen guys with top notch guns wait... a wild SRT team appears. Also it is the robbers responsibility to escape through a firefight or negotiating (as in actual RP). Not the cop's job to come in there and face you on your terms. We are free to wait you out until you make a move or mistake. Current ruleset is balanced enough as it allows both sides to reinforce themselves without either side being OP.

    Do you understand the power that police have in Australia Spetsnaz ? AKA T.R.G, Dogs, AFP with high powered weapons Cops should always have more power than who they go up with. If you can't handle the power then it might be better to train the guys you play with on how to respond back and what gear they should have. Banks and Fed are not meant to be quick there is a plan and run time to go through. When was the last time you saw a bank being robbed for 10 mins? Plus why is it that SP are the only people with the problem?

    Couple of changes tonight: Fixed towing vehicles into VTOL bug. @Matsozetex - https://strayagaming.com.au/forums/topic/9634-glitch-towing-with-hemtt-and-vehicle-blackfish/ Reworked Static Weapon restrictions. Thanks to @Dak Commstar for the suggestion - https://strayagaming.com.au/forums/topic/9666-turrets-for-classes/#comment-42941 All soldiers can assemble Static HMG and GMG turrets. Engineers and UAV operators can assemble Automated Weapons. AT Soldiers can assemble Static AT/AA launchers. The Fire Support Group (FSG) can use any of the above as well as mortars. More to come in the next few days...
