@Joshua_ I think what your saying is very reasonable. As much as I really like what I have got on the server and would not want to have to grind all over again, I feel like it could make things a little more fun. The only issue will be that people like me who don't actually get on the server as much will struggle to get back into a good position whereas some of the cartels will grow too quickly due to their size and then they will control all the basic money methods, e.g have people constantly camping weed field... This would mean that it stops everyone else from growing and its going to make the server very 1 sided. Personally, I also believe that if you reset APD ranks then you would have to obviously keep the highest ranks in place, but then there would be this massive rank gap and you will have pub slots reporting to a commissioner. But in the meanwhile, gangs and cartels will keep their rank structure and that means that they all have access to the exact same things they have before, this would create the issue that they would overpower the police not only in the equipment they can use but also with the methods/routines that would never change. A server reset is the kind of thing that I wouldn't want to happen, but if it did, I would wan't @Lotza to change things up quite a bit, including: The use of planes (like I mentioned in another post, having planes be able to carry much much more fuel and 800kg of cargo, giving them an actual use, of course, that is balanced by the difficulty of landing at useful places) I would also like to see some more options for crafting, Making crating items a bit easier, making it so you can craft black items, and just exanding the options for crafting. I think it would also benefit to remove the whole token idea. Finally, I think that they could update the locations of everything on the map, making certain routes better than others and then change up Kavala to make it more of a city rather than just a town (using the Tanoa city buildings). So yeah, to sum all that up... I don't really want a server reset unless it will bring some big changes. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Just 10 mins ago I was on I&A with not one, now two, but 3 Stealth Shikras and having 170 Transport points I thought..."Sweet I'll surely get a Shrika at least once" ***3 Wipeouts later*** FML guys we need to reward players who put the effort in to transport everyone and not just leave it to a random chance. Now I know some of you will winge and say "Oh you could have taken them all down with a wipeout....scrub, learn to fly." I am aware of this however there are countless situations where you need CAS based aircraft, such as during a defend, and times where you need to clear the skies of AIDS. I'm sure M9 and some of the other mods will back me up when I say this is an idea that could easily be planned, scripted and implemented. If you have any further questions regarding this let me know but seriously, come on guys, 160 points and 3 wipeouts in a row, just when you wanted an air superiority F/A aircraft. **** off arma.

There are ways to make considerable amounts of money without breaking the law. Gem mining is the most profitable gathering method on the server, at the highest grade providing 6mil per run in around 30 minutes. Additionally salt mining is also easy to do and makes a large amount of money without breaking any laws. There are lots of methods for civilian players to get into the economy and be able to compete with rebels but they just aren't adopted by a lot of them, if they ventured out of Sydney they'd notice that most big gangs don't target civilians due to the fact that they don't have anything worth taking and it isn't worth the reputation damage to frag players off the server just starting out.

My only concern with this is that while Cops/Medics get to keep their rank and access to gear, contractors and rebels are going to have to work from the ground up. Look how long it took cops to attain their rank, it is the same for how we accrued our money/items. You take away our resources and their implodes contractors, and possibly rebels. As I see it, there are two better options: 1. A complete wipe that includes removing APD and APS ranks. 2. Keep APD & APS ranks, and bank balance. Completely wiping would destroy some of the small, and large groups who actually contribute to the role-play on the server. If we are going to go down the wipe everything route, then it should be wipe everything.

All i see is complaining, not a single suggestion on how to improve the server just whining and bitching. you can't expect change if you yourself aren't willing to contribute to the changes you would like. if you wanted to see something change so badly you would do everything in your power to see it changed and keep persisting regardless of what is said and done.
