(50 Words min): I believe I deserve a promotion because of many reasons but main because of my desire to be able to help other officers, from when I started out as a pub slot until today one of my greatest desires in the APD was to be able to become a figure where someone could ask questions and I would be able to help them out. As a Sergeant I would be able to help out my fellow officers more and I would be able to do that easier with the rank of sergeant. 1. I would be able to move people in teamspeak so that I may be able to help out those night time playing senior constables as I am normally online late at night because of my timezone. 2.I would be able to help out others by being able to pull out armored vehicles for my fellow officers when I am commanded to or when needed to protect and preserve the lives of my fellow officers. 3.I would be able to help and train other fellow officers to become better cops. 4.As a Sergeant I would be a role model to be able to help out other ranks and to let them continue persevering through the ranks. 5.As a sergeant I would also be able to help out my fellow officers by being able to place charges onto the wanted list. I have and will continue to dedicate time towards the APD and towards Strayagaming so I hope you choose me as an option for the rank of Sergeant. The thing about sydney was there was this mutual understanding that it was going to be complete shit. Like a hunger games of sorts. When you went to sydney you didn't carry anything expensive because you KNEW you would be RDM'd. and it kinda added to the fun. you went to sydney KNOWING you'd be shot at and have some kind of interaction.

(50 Words min) I believe that there is more i can do for the APD as i've said in my previous applications i want to be able to help civilians in any way that i can. This is why i joined the APD and became a detective in the first place. I believe that i can bring more rolplay, more control and start helping other officers more throughout their experience within the APD. While driving back through Sydney to deliver to the port, I felt a touch of nostalgia and in turn felt it was necessary to make this post. Not everyone is going to agree with this post and that's just how the world works. While my time on the server has been limited (almost 6 months) I feel that most of the memories I have made were in Sydney, lining up on the wall when you were a pub-slot, the cancerous but quality RP SYD bridge, and all the people I met. I understand why head-administration did it, it must have caused complete and utter chaos in help desk and everyone needed a change, I just don't think I was ready for such a large change. I have been playing the new update for a while and although its nice to have a fresh new location to patrol and and new sights to see I still miss the old locations just as much. The same RP has staled out in Brisbane & Melbourne, compared to Sydney where you knew everyone would be. As I also come on during the mornings (NZST) I see alot of pub-cops and myself patrolling together, and since there isn't a city limits buffer its straight into gun welding rebels who are far better combat ready compared to fresh, green pub-cops (although some are very good a tazer rifle is completely useless compared to a 6.5 etc). I feel Sydney is completely useless now, I haven't seen many people there at all and one of the main reasons you would go there is because of deliveries. I feel this is a complete waste of quite a useful part of the map. By moving people around the map its caused the server to lose 1/4 of it again. Although I did feel the 'rebel' narrative was an amazing idea and executed very well with broken buildings, graffiti in Sydney etc it lacked involving the players, the whole thing could have been run a whole lot differently. I feel a different city that wasn't Sydney should have been chosen aswell, it seems weird to leave the largest city on the map completely useless. I do understand that higher-ups want opinions on the new map, and suggestions to keep it fresh. I just felt this post was necessary to get it off my mind and my opinion to be known, its up to you how you take it. Thank you Loxton

Yeah I completely agree. I miss Sydney, although it was an RDM fest, and there was lots of trolling, it was still such an amazing city to be in. Sydney was where I met a lot of people, whether it was patrolling as a cop, or sitting around SYD bridge with randoms and talked. Ever since the new wipe, I haven't been talking to many civilians, in Sydney you could be ANYWHERE and there would be someone to talk to, the only time I talk to civies now are when they are at PD or if im processing them. Yeah the wipe was good, it spread everyone out and stopped the trolling, but I feel like the wipe really took the fun out of Straya. I find myself taking more breaks now because I get bored on GD as there are not many people to interact with anymore, everyone is all over the place. If I was to change something, I would've changed it so that the money wipe went ahead like it did, but I woudlve kept Sydney as a spawnable place for both cops and civs. I know the narrative and all says Sydney is now an abbondended city, but I would love it to be introduced again eventually.

10/11/18 This update is mainly bug fixes and small tweaks. Changes: Added BTR-K Kamysh with NATO-ish skin to APC spawn rotation. Added BTR-K Kamysh supporter skin to Area 51. Nearest medic (within 500m) is now shown when carrying/dragging someone. Added the weekly Top 3 Pilots and Medics to the I&A Discord Live Feed channel. Altis/Tanoa will post something like this every Monday at ~12am: Reduced mission file size. Added CAS variant Black Wasp to highest CAS pool. (Loadout subject to change) Fixed Snipers/Autoriflemen being unable to use the SDAR. Fixed 'Open Parachute' option showing while fast-roping. Fixed base-only Bobcat not respawning when taken outside base. Adjusted T-140 spawn position to fix this. Adjusted Gorgon spawn chance. Fast-rope enable/disable hotkey (Tab) no longer activated when Alt key is pressed at the same time. Added/changed some chat message tips. Tweaked some Robocop stuff. @War Machine as @Michael Steiner has posted this is a mature community and the game is rated at 17+ so your little sis will encounter fowl language and many other forms of straya. I will point out that I was the one to kick her and my sincerest apologies go to you and her. When I came on I was very quick to make note to players that it was not a voice changer. I will also note that I take that duty of care to protect minors very seriously so if she is on and she is able to cope with the mature content I will will take all due care that she does not get harassed in any form. However we all get told to shut the fk up at times so bare in mind that is going to happen and let's face it that voice was pretty damned high pitched. Having said all that she did nothing wrong and played her role better than most. If you do have an issue please be sure to call admin in side chat and we can help you or her out.
