There's a divide because Divisions is the officers main posting/Main job/main focus, GD isn't............

SRT doesn't need to be there 24/7 to hold GD's hand. We aren't always on ops and a lot of the times we can't go on ops for reasons such as not enough GD being on, or GD is losing control over Sydney, as Toby stated. "I'm simply stating a visible divide between some divisional officers and the police force as a whole which is exacerbated by the way divisions are setup" - as for this statement, we are called divisions for a reason. We are a separate branch of the APD that deals with shit GD aren't equipped to do. SRT officers are on GD when they need to be, I don't see any issue there.

Naturally. i'd say SRT is more akin to military police than regular police because you're always chasing gangs with heavy weapons/gear/vehicles and as you said, there's no bounties unless you let the rest of SRT die and then get the kill. And of course, a 350k ifrit is a hit but more often than not you won't lose that. With this being said, being in SRT does not exclude them from GD, they just choose not to.

Most likely a unpopular idea but one I could see working. Striders would be okay as a cheaper alternative to ifrits considering that ifrits without the doors opening and better than striders.

ALTIS LIFE NEWS - MAY This is just a small announcement to keep everyone in the loop regarding changes happening to Altis Life. STAFF I would like to formally introduce @6IX and @Chadd to the Altis Life Development Team. They will work under James and will take guidance from myself and the AL admins. All suggestions should still go on to the forums or to an admin. Please do not send suggestions directly to members of the Development Team. Chadd will be working on the map and 6IX will be working along side James with the coding and scripting of the server. You may also notice some changes to the structure of the Altis Life Senior Staff team. Over the past week or so, Virtual has step down for personal reasons and Corey is now a Moderator. There may be further changes to AL Senior and / or AL staff teams in the coming week(s). "7th OF THE MONTH" UPDATE The "7th of the month update" is ONLY guaranteed to included gang skin changes. Along with gang skin changes there my be some small changes but this is only if something is ready and waiting to go into the server like a minor bug fix.
