Heya, It's your local street rat here with a tutorial for new players on the best way to make money on Straya. You should read the entire guide before you act on it. Step 1: Setup Before mining for gems you will want: Roughly 400k (Aka a few normal runs) You will want to buy the following: 1x Pickaxe 1x Backpack 2x food and drink 1x Repair and Fuel kits 2x box truck (Keep at least 200k for the gem processing licenses, or see the Bunnings method) Step 2: Mining Go to either Iron mine (Pros: More profitable, Cons: Less safe) or Copper mine (Pros: Safe, Cons: Normally less profitable). These can be found by using the map search function or looking east of Kavala/Sydney or South of Pyrgos/Brisbane. When arriving at the mine you will want to press command once while looking at the ground, Then press Y and drop all but one of the copper/iron you have picked up, Press command again and drop all of the new Iron/Copper (While leaving 1 Iron/Copper). Repeat. This technique allows you to mine for gems while pressing the least amount of keys. It also makes you less aware of your surroundings though, so do be careful when using it. When you have found a gem (Gold, Sapphire, Ruby or Diamond) stop mining at putting it into your vehicle. If you get gold peices you can either discard them (Recommended if you don't have a house or don't feel like crafting them) or save them and craft the pieces into gold bars when you have 10 pieces. You cannot log/Store vehicles with gold bars in them and keep the gold bars. When your vehicle is full or you decide to leave I recommend driving back to a garage in the nearby towns, pulling out a box truck and transferring your gems into these trucks. This means that they are safe as long as you don't move the trucks from a safe zone. Step 3: Processing At some point, you will want to process your Gemstones. You have two options. I recommend you pull out a truck/vehicle and go to the gem trader northeast of Atheria/Brisbane. Here you can process the gems for a price, With the licenses being roughly 100K. I recommend players low on cash buy the processing license of whatever gem they have the most of. You can then sell your processed gemstones at the gem trader northwest of Syrta. NOTE: There is not an ATM here. I recommend you sync data then log to a city if you do not have a helicopter and you have sold your gems. If you do not want to do this method, You can skip the processing by visiting one of the bunnings stores around the map and purchasing a chisel and hammer for each gem you have. You can then use the chisel and hammer on a single gem to process it without having to go to the gem processor. This is costly so I recommend you only perform this method on diamonds and when you have no other option to make money. Step 4: Results So, What does all this hard work get you? Per person, it will change depending on your luck, Proficiency ( The higher proficiency means a larger amount of gems) and selling price. Here is a screenshot of a summary of two runs I did. As you can see in just over 25 Minutes I found approximately 1.4 Million in gems. The spreadsheet breaks down the individual type of gems that I got, along with Value per hit and other factors. This will be different for you, as a new player will find fewer gems over a similar amount of time, (A new player could expect to take 3x as long) and this did not include time traveling to processor, processing and selling so runs will take longer. This is for demonstration purposes only. I got lucky on my first run.

(50 Words min) I believe I deserve a promotion to the rank of Seargent due to the amount of time and dedication I put towards the APD. Whilst being a Senior Constable I have dedicated a lot of my time to helping new players when it comes to needing their trading done or when they have questions on the APD protocols. I believe as a Senior Constable I have proven that I would be a very valuable asset to the APD as a seargent when it comes to operations or banks as I would be able to pull out Hunters for other officers aswell as setup drones to give intel about the situation. (50 Words min) Firstly, I believe I deserve a promotion because of my activity on cop; Not only am I active on duty, but I also tend to adding data to the Altis Police Department Database and Enlisting Recruits. In my time as a Snr Constable I have assisted with people on teamspeak who require assistance, whether it is someone asking a question about trainings, in-game scenarios or even just rule clarifications. Secondly I believe I deserve a promotion because I have the ability to successfully take charge and take the role of commanding officer, when in the time of need for one. In my time as a Snr Constable I have taken the role of CO on countless occasions to better sort GD into effective units so they can, themselves act responsibly and effectively on General Duties. Therefore attempting to better utilize the APD's resources so the officers can be at their best. Overall, I believe because of my ability to do all of these I have the capabilities to further improve my effectiveness, my responsibilities and my outcomes by being promoted to Sergeant. By being promoted to Sergeant I believe I can also help assist lower-ranking officers by pulling out Hunters for them at banks, and also adding charges to criminals when no other officers are available (as this is a common occurrence). I believe by becoming a Sergeant I will have the chance of becoming a more valuable asset to both Academy, and the APD as a whole.
