Couple of ideas I had when Links explained the beacon problem Limit the amount of beacons to players (2-3) Lower the height halo dropping places you so you cannot go as far from the beacon Beacons from a single player shouldn't be able to be placed within a certain limit of each other (~1km) Also maybe increase the time limit on beacons after use (5m to 10m)

Yall all be fine. Who cares if enemies or anything know where you are. Master the DayZ swivel and leg it if you have to. -1 - Limiting the beacons to 2-3 // If you want beacons, and all the other nerfs are added, let people buy as many as possible. +1 - Lower the height. // As you said stops players from travelling 2kms via beacons. +1 - 1k range difference // Spreads out players beacons and removes the placement of like 10 beacons in the same forest around your said favourite spot. -1 - Time to 10 minutes // Too Long, if the other affects are added then this becomes wayyyy to long. Tick the 'Anti-cheat compatibility hooking' option in source settings to fix that.
