My Dear Friends, Due to recent events, which I'm not going to go into detail about, I'm off. Not forever mind you, just for however long it takes for everything to cool down. To my AINC brothers, forgive me for my behaviour for the last few days, it has been unprofessional and disgusting. You're my family, my brothers, my friends. We've been through a lot together, and hopefully that can continue at a later date. But for now? This is goodbye. To the police force: Have ya met Tracie? In all seriousness thank you for putting up with my crap. Its all in friendly banter and i hope you saw it as such. It was a lot of fun dropping off rebels and their gear to you guys and watching it go boom. SP: Thank you. All the fights we've had, I've really enjoyed. Although it may not have come across like that at recent times, forgive me. Keep doing what you're doing, and make sure you don't comply :P. EMS: I'm sure by now you've all probably made a small fortune off me from all the revives. You guys are amazing at what you do, thank you. And to everyone else i have missed: You're all amazing. You are the people who make the server what it is. Its been amazingly good fun yet also a challenge for me which is what i enjoy. Once again this is goodbye, for now. For those who don't understand the rules: Civilian Contractors With the evolution of Life on Altis a new faction has arisen. Men, weary of War, and death, motivated by the enforcement of a moral code and law, of a kind, have stepped forward, and manipulated currency, logistics and the very nature of both. Civilian Contractors can engage in a variety of activities, but sit outside the ruleset for Rebel AND Cartel. Civilan Contractors may NOT :- Rob Bank Rob Fed. Commit any crimes not in the pursuit of their moral code. They may :- Be at Rebel 1 or 2, and use the Rebel Spawns/use a Rebel Licence. Seek to search vehicles, kill lawbreakers under declaration, and pursure a roleplay narrative of there own shaping. Perform Security checks and/or name checks to determine if transported items are illegal. This places them at odds with the Cartels, and Rebels, and in a loose treaty but NOT an alliance with the Police. The same as the Police tolerate and cooperate but still arrest the Cartel, Civilian Contractors are held to the same standards of Law, but due to a record of non Lawbreaking and adherence to the ruleset to an immaculate standard they are afforded some leniencies at the sole discretion of the Admins. Civilian Contractors are able to : ID check for identification purposes - Confirm with people if person is wanted for hand over ( at no reward ) , search person and vehicle for contraband and or illegal items , weapons , vehicle etc. Civilain Contractos MUST: Hand over all contraband material sezied from a search to police and must have supporting evidence to provide chain of evidence if reputation is brought into question. ( IE: Video / Screen Shots of Seized Gear , property etc ) Civilian Contractors may NOT seize or take from any players items for their own gain, but may escort players to be surrendered to Police, or inform Police that said players are being held awaiting Police apprehension. Civilian Contractors are businessmen, and posses a wide skillset ranging from self taught mercenary tactics, being ex military, whatever fits within the Roleplay. No tolerance is given to them executing people for "lawbreaking", impeding the Cartels by going to one Drug Field, or using any proceeds of illegal runs done by themselves. They must only gain income from legal runs, but may use "Rebel" items to protect themselves and enforce their moral code, and keep themselves and the community safe. Civilian Contractor is not playable unless you possess one of the 3 TS Channels that are under its Sub Section, you may be in another TS or channel If at any time their RP is found to be failing, selfish, impacting on the Server they will have their group terminated at the discretion of the Server Admins in a unanimous decision. Before this happens they will receive a warning to amend their conduct and given one week to do so. Civilian Contractors are not able to do any form of Police activity (fine/impound/seize for own use or gain), assist at Bank/Fed, be hired to be used as urban pacification agents, bounty hunt people for money (or surrender people for any form of reward). Civilian Contractors play and engage in activities for the love of the RP and narrative. CONTRACTS Civilian Contractors can be supplied with lenience in the ruleset, able to pilot vehicles inside airspace in cities, and afforded some discretion around things that advance their narrative. This is given as a Contract and posted in the RP section of the Forums for all to see. They may be, for example, able to deploy some weaponry to secure a HQ insdie a city, and must communicate all movements in and out. Police may instruct them in the way this is held to be acceptable (guns must be slung etc, limit calibres, any limiting is at Police discretion). Seeking to remain in the good graces of the Law, Civilian Contractors will abide by both the ruleset for the Faction, which is the most stringent, and receive in turn some leeway for RP purposes. This may include anything deemed in balance, and in line with the narrative, eg sale to them of weaponry seized by the Police at reduced pricing, sale of other items, with some items deemed "Not for Sale", these will be listed below. Tear Gas Flash Bangs Spike Strips Any weapon that is Police only. Seized Rebel weaponry can be sold back, given that it is going to a trusted Civilian Contractor group and is NOT to be on sold. Rebel items may be purchased at profit from the Civilian Contractors. Given that the Police can purchase all of their weaponry at reduced proces this will be mainly Clothing items, and anything deemed suitable (Pistols, Balaclavas, Accessories/Silencers)

An inability for one of those to apologize to one of our guys already in team speak when asked to do so , or even acknowledge to said person that he shouldn't of been kicked ... is hardly creating a trusting relationship between the two parties. And we are currently awaiting a discussion with black sheep. However , my point still remains. A member of staff who has constantly been targeting our group and is the sole reason why one of your previous Admin left the community is publicly known. It's a public issue. Transparency is a good thing. And you should encourage it. No one has bullied a staff member. We have however had how many members of staff support us ? How many times have the community rallied behind us ? This is far from a private issue. I end my post and this thread with the following : Open discussion is the bane of liars . Open discussion does not allow for behind the scenes politics , its a matter of public record.

So I've been thinking a bit about this, actually a lot and I have come to a decision that I will be leaving the community, not for good i will still be hanging around TS a bit but I won't be as active as I have just received an offer from a company to start working as a professional videographer and photographer for events and partys and big events held around the world, I've given it a lot of thought and I'm going to take the offer but that means giving up some of my passions like Gaming and this community. Like I said i will still be around i just won't be that active, I've been here for 8 months now and it's been a whale of a time. Making videos (although I know not many) gave me an insight into what making videos and my goal really is, you know that feeling when you see something really cool and then a tingly sensation flows through your body, that is my goal as a videographer, that is my ultimate goal. I thank everyone who I've messed about with over the past few months and sorry to the people I made angry, at the end of the day I love this community and the people In it, and I love you all (no homo). You have a 22 strong player base that is sick and tired of " behind the scenes " politics. Some upfront and public discussions like adults would solve the issue at hand.

Absolutely brilliant, Last time I have seen the governor script was my time in Arma 2, if it were to be in Arma 3 it would be absolutely brilliant as these script brought a lot of RP (protests, elections etc.) I agree with everything said here.

1. Pipi's Declaration script ( previous linked many many many times ). Maintain side chat / direct / email requirement for instruction but allows the 3rd party location to be removed from declaration. 2. Add Different farming / processing for legal runs . Some extra variations - ie: Beer , Jack Daniel production etc. 3. Add role play jobs? Ie: Governor script. Example: Player count = 10. Flag condition = true. Player vote Governor . Player majority count earns Governor Title. Player Governor able to set tax rate between 1%-10% for legal runs. Player Governor recieves 1%-10% of all gross legal sales. Script is checked every 2 hours. New Election held then. This would mean that the Elected player would receive the potential of a lot of income , but at the requirement of both low taxing players And also would require good role play with other Players to get elected. Players who excel or at least make some interesting role play would get elected into the position , and those who set the tax rate to high Would lose the server pop's respect and would not be elected in future. 4. Add a CAPTURE THE FLAG mechanic for a DRUG LORD DEN at the KOS rebel zone. The Church in the south west corner would be ideal. This location does not allow for control over any of the processing areas , has some basic fortification requiring breach and enter CQC to be used to take it and recapture it. Holding said FLAG CAPTURE AREA should allow said DRUG LORD to set a tax rate for illegal sales , 1%-10%. This would again force player interaction in the KOS area , forcing rebel and cartel groups to battle for ownership if they want extra control of illegal gains. While not forcing role play , it does somewhat advocate good role play for control of said area by rebel and cartel groups coming to an " Understanding " on who controls the "illegal" traffic so to speak. 5. Please please please - either LOWER the final product weight to 1 for all illegal goods when final processing is done , or RAISE the sale minimums and maximums so Players are more likely to actually use WEED , COCAINE , HEROIN , BLOOD DIAMOND and the never never used URANIUM. Cartels have very little way to actually make money from taxing players using there fields as no one would use illegal fields right now if they understood the sale to weight price ratios. 6. Get Spectral Back. His role play and role play events make this server. And everyone wants him here.
