In the early hours of the morning, APD's finest are at work catching the criminals who lurk around our city while the likes of @Bonez @Zomboid @denis, etc are tucked into bed. While the APD superiors are settled into a healthy sleeping routine, Inspector @That Lucky SOB, Constable @orgug and Prob. Constable vizzN are always looking for new innovative ways to identify Altis Life suspects. Prob. Constable vizzN's body cam captures the first ever known trial of identifying a suspect using a drone. *Note - Please be advised that this trial cam footage is uncut; therefore, the APD cannot be subjected to misleading the progression of the trial. Inspector @That Lucky SOB has apologized for the "accidental" injuries the suspect sustained during this trial. The apology was accepted and the victim had only minor injuries to the forehead. In other news, the SRT has announced a new enhanced "Interrogation" technique: Subjecting suspects to a 10 hour non-stop loop of "Denis Denis, What Will Be With You". (Paste the title into YouTube if you haven't seen the Denis video found by @orgug. Prob. Constable vizzN signing out!

Staff Prize: Promoted to Founder Seriously though, I doubt any non-Altis Life staff will win

Lets hope it does. I would rather 99 petty dismissals than 1 serious issue slides by. Justice not seen to be done is justice denied.

Of course, but if it becomes an IC IA issue or straddles being that and not a Help Desk well we are doing something right. We are responsible for every bullet that comes out our rifles, and every word we speak to a Civ or Rebel. Before we shoot/gas/breach I hope we all think, what am I doing, why, what is the worst possible outcome. Killing/shooting is last resort.

Adding onto Unit's reply, Locking vehicles, and the ability to store your vehicle in a garage, is apart of the latest Wasteland update, of which we have not installed. Yep, you'll be able to store your vehicles in a garage too for when the mother calls ya out for dinner unexpectedly early. Anyway, that'll be coming mate, just hang tight!

Incident Report for: 23/08/16 Presented to: APD Commissioner @Bonez, Deputy Commissioner @Zomboid, Assistant SRT Commissioner @Spectral Subject: Weapon's bust within Sydney. Details: Myself and another officer, Recruit Robby, were patrolling around Sydney when we got calls from AINC about a suspicious Zamak hanging around their HQ. I investigated it and told the man to move off, which he did without incident. About 5 minutes later AINC call again and tell us that there had been bombs planted in their HQ and the Zamak was still lurking about, upon our arrival the bombs were detonated and the zamak drove into the HQ area moments later. Upon questioning the driver and gaining consent and keys to search his vehicle for suspicion of carrying explosives to bomb the AINC HQ. this is what we found: There was also another AK-12 in his backpack. the suspect admitted to wanting to sell the weapons to civilians as revenge for alleged police incompetence and corruption as well as bombing the AINC HQ building. The man was jailed for bombing and weapons smuggling. The weapons were valued at $3,505,000. The Vehicle and all its contents were destroyed in a controlled demolition at Sydney Station. Report filed by: That Lucky SOB, Inspector [L02E].

With the staff maybe a vote. Your staff can just private msg you their vote and you just count them up? Then the community could also have a vote and pick a staff member?

IMO People carry around WAY too much ammo atm allready. There is never any reason for Pilots to use ammodrops. Cost of Halo jumping is you do not get a backpack. Not a huge problem really, and you could always call in an ammobox to rearm.

We were toying with an idea similar to that last night on i&a but we came across the issue of how to determine the difference in whos backpacks are whos... but great idea tho, maybe if theres a way to name backpacks or something?

How about get a vehicle blackfish, get the thing with the most seats you can in it, get everyone in THAT, and then get them to put their backpacks in that. Then the blackfish drops the vehicle, everyone ejects from the blackfish, and then picks up their backpacks from the vehicle when required Idk just an idea hahaha

Woo! Go mark! I'll see If I can buy ark and I'll be happy to join!

Why not just talk with a blackfish Pilot, and arrange to Halo from that? Entirely possible on the server atm.

Just a suggestion, make it possible to purchase the shops around the map (buildings with glass front) when a player purchases the shop they get 1 sign shop (the signs I mean are the ones used at general store, market ect at Sydney Center) in the shop they can add what ever item they want for what ever price and it also puts a marker on the map in side chat (can only be viewed by civ) the shop marker only appears when the player is online (EG. Jay's Shop). The shop owner has to pay rent every week to keep the shop open, the shop owner can set the shop to Private (map market vanishes from map and shop sign can only be access by shop owner) and the shop owner can make the shop public (map market appears on map again and players can access the shop sign and purchase items ect). Just another thought - The shop owner can toggle on/off "Shop Notifications" which is a message sent via the server to the shop owner via the Email system Shop Notification = M_Dyet has just purchased x1 Mk200 from your shop for $(set price) [REMAINING STOCK = 0]
