G'day all, ive been been deliberating about ways in which SG can sustain itself going into the future. I know that we are the most popular oceanic server by far in arma 3, but A3 will only last so long. In saying that, it poses a problematic question; what happens to this community we have spent so much time, effort and money into when the A3 bandwagon dies? so I spoke with some admins, inc Leopard, and decided to undertake an endeavour: To use the popularity of free to play games as a platform to grow SG. so I'm reaching out for help. I've got a few games I'm keen on like Mechwarrior Online and Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade. But I need more ideas and more people involved. I want you to work with me in expanding and growing SG. if you have a proactive attitude and the time to put in, let me know and let's make sure SG is around for a long time, not just a good time.

I would love to reach out for clan base stuff I have ideas and desire for WoW clans and so on aswell. But the key factor is: how do we push that way? Who are going to do it? How does the forums need to look? Do we need another TS (keep arma3 stuff away from them?)? Will our forums work for them? or will i need to get another forum for clans types? Right now I have my hands full with building something new. Which I'm hoping will be released this month. @TrueBlue is me right now. Work with him and @Leopard. If you want to bring new factor into SG. It'll take a lot of planning and marketing.

well place some military buildings half in the water...and line the top with enemy static ATGM and Static AA launchers, these keep friendly aircraft and boats away....divers can go almost all the way up before they have to pop out of the water to plant the explosives on the half that is out of the water.. then they dive off to a stand off distance before setting the explaosives off Just dont put many enemy ground troops around these buildings....just spitballing ideas here

Hi guys i want to start this post off by saying im not here to upset anyone or cause any arguments my question is in relation to aviation rule 2 but also the rules in general 2. You MUST be a pilot to fly an aircraft. If you are a non-pilot and there are less than 20 players on the server, then you may fly a Hummingbird in co-pilot. If there are over 20 players, you may fly a Hummingbird to and from Side mission only. now i completly understand the need for rules and having those rules inforced and as a whole i dont have a problem with said rules but what i would like to know, can the admins have a little situational give in the rules?? i.e 27 players on but only one pilot or zero pilots!. in this situation would we still be allowed to fly the littlebird to the AO as 26 players standing at base waiting on 1 below average pilot can kinda ruin someones session. I also would like to note that not everyone enjoys flying so admins saying "well there are x amount of pilots slots open get in one" alas "forcing" players to get into a role they dont enjoy could/would reck someone session.. note: i also understand that there is ground vehicles that we can use to get to the AO but i have noticed that in some situations like the example above some infantry dont mind flying a squad over then respawing the heli and joining the fight thankyou for your time

Thankyou for taking the time to reply fitz For the most part in the short time that i have been playing I&A (which my wife tells me is way to much) the admins have been very understanding and helpful it just seems sometimes i have seen admin/s take the "rules are final, no ifs, buts or maybes" approach which has a very negative impact on that particular session
