The Forum Update As promised by Red today we're bringing you news of our newest updates to the forums to bring our website a modern appearance and format. These changes will be going live on the evening of 29/07/18 We can split the changes into a few main sections that I'll briefly talk about below, Forum Restructure We're adjusting the structure of the forums so that it will be easier to navigate for everyone and more logically laid out, making it easier to find exactly the thing you're looking for. The Altis Life Hub page We have custom made a page to showcase all AL related content on our forums in one place, It will be accessible at https://strayagaming.com.au/altislife , once all of these changes are live later tonight. Below is a screenshot of the page The page shows summaries of AL section posts, important updates, our AL events calendar and a summary of core AL stats including a live player count. The big green join altislife button even opens your game and connects to the server directly all automatically! The most significant change for most users will be the implementation of our new theme that I've been working on for the past few weeks. This theme will help modernize our website's appearance. If you notice any bugs or graphical issues please let me know So i can correct them! It was indeed a shit show at the start, but once we lost the Outpost after zerging it things got serious and we started doing supply missions and successfully converted a town. You just gotta account for the little bit of retardation that comes with I&A members then give 'em time to get serious. When I logged off last night things were serious and down to business.

(50 Words min) Well I think that the way the cop force is going we need more higher ranking cops on GD with high experience and who actually are trying their best to help cop out. Personally I believe that achieving sergeant would help me start to help keep other cops in line and help push cop to a better place, I'm not a bias person and I believe that my leadership skills will be a really helpful tool to becoming a sergeant. I have plenty of experience within the cop force and also within the server, I have been up and down the ranks before and I don't really agree with it but the past has happened and I want to be able to prove myself again. Teargas is bullshit, try to rob a bank or do something that en-voles cops they will teargas you and you legit can't do anything, there is no counter to teargas just if it happens to you, pretty much you're dead. If enough of us upvote this and show that it is to op then they should have it removed or have teargas mask added.

Its an imbalance that should have been adresses with the police force especially when the admins(your mates) are the ones spamming it. As it hasnt been addressed comp is not only fair.

Well if its an issue why are the cops allowed to absolutely teargas the shit outa everything? I was in the top of the tower at shady doctor and got railed by atleast 5 or 6 teargas cannisters. literally my screen was useless. SO we should get compt if its a know issue....

Invictiis and the rest of the group have tried, we told James directly, we told him on the forums (AKA invictiis does it), And i personally think that Wasteland is going to die if it doesn't get the love it use to get. Wasteland use to be so good... We didn't have as much problems as we do now for example: Verona's. (Major Major Problem - Thermals, Price and Accessibility from crates) Combat-Logging with 100k while people are assaulting your area. (Major Problem) Team-Balancing. (Major Problem - Stack-for) Token's. (Problem - Basically Useless... Etc.) Server performance. (Semi-serious problem - The server has a lot of frame drops, NOT MY PC.) Adding rules for global chat. (Major problem - Trust me, That channel should be made for in-game access to admin's only.) Wipe probably needed. (Due to Combat-Logging Past duping in case it has been sent to other players etc...) USS FREEDOM. (Uncomfortable - Should probably be put further away from land, so that it looks nicer and gives the effect that it's an actual Aircraft-carrier Assaulting Straits) Salt. (Major Problem - PEOPLE GOTTA EAT LESS SALT ON THEIR DAMN CHIPS) Etc.... ( There are a few more) I personally think that wasteland should be receiving love as it hasn't received love for awhile now. @Invictiis @James32 and everyone else... I guess

StrayaGaming Squad Strayagaming is proud to announce that starting this Friday (6/7) we will begin hosting an 80 slot licensed squad server for the public. We hope to provide an enjoyable server for the Australian Squad community as well as all of our current PvP loving members. The server will be open to all and we are hoping to get quite a few people on on launch night and into the future, building a solid place for Squad within our existing community. We felt that Squad was similar enough to Arma that the playerbases had significant overlap and the community would enjoy the game. (My second strike) Who were you Disciplined by: Cabinet Reason for Disciplinary Action against you: Sent a declaration message to a gang while they had a hostage, which lead to them getting killed. Why the appeal should be accepted: I believe the strike I was given was unfair due to the fact that I was merely listening to another Sergeant's orders. First off, I was unaware that they had a hostage and had declared it to the police, I was either not in-game or alt-tabbed when the dispatch was sent and was not told by any other police or CO about the situation. Second, I simply just followed the other Sergeant's orders, we were doing a PolAir trial flight and ran into a rebel Pawnee with two suspects inside, The pilot told me to send a dec to the Pawnee saying "This is the APD. Land the helicopter and get out with your hands up for an inspection, failure to comply may result in lethal force" Once I sent the dec, the Pawnee neither landed nor flew away so no shots were fired, the pilot sent me a message saying "yeah one sec mate" so I told the side gunner to not shoot, the Pawnee landed but wouldn't get out, the side gunner then opened fire on the Pawnee killing both inside. About a second after the side gunner started shooting the two in the Pawnee, I was sent a message saying "Hostage dies is you engage", but it was too late because the Pawnee had already been taken out. I do not think it is fair to only punish me because I was the one who sent a dec, I did not shoot at them or order the dec to be sent yet I was the only one punished or even spoken to about the situation. Any other information: I was also not told about the punishment before it had been given to me, which breaks protocol 15.21 & 15.22, and so I woke up in the morning to a two-week blacklist from the APD, a demotion to pub slot, a permanent blacklist from Detectives and accusations of being a "filthy snitch" and leaking the Detective Database.
