3 months i have been on altis life time to give some money away :)) Hello guys, I am doing a competition on whoever can find Greg in the city of Poliakko, Poliakko is located just a few km's south of Weed field. What this event involves basically you have to find Greg himself located inside the city of Poliakko, he may lurk in bushes, he might even be in peach field or he might just be hiding in one of the many houses in Poliakko. This Event i seek to host can be participated in by either commenting on this forum post or liking it so then i can tally up the number for the participants. You can work as a team to find greg or lonewolf it, their will be no bloodshed during the event or use of thermals. What is Required - Bolt Cutters/ Need about 5-10 - You guys This Event will be running 7:30pm AEST Friday 10th of June and you will meet at the church of Poliakko their you will be greeted by a WH associate and will be let off on you're ways to find Greg. Momentary anger and frustration. Even I am human. Ii blew past it in an hour of quiet thought, looking at why people lie and say things, hold a secret agenda or do the things they do. Don't sweat it lads. More events coming. More Police organisation coming. My goal? Be the best Admin, in my team up with @Roger Purple, that there has ever been. This means, to me, people following rules. Moderation in the bans is something I am working at, but when people spit on players, or claim Nazi names, or call people F@$gots behind their backs and they are Homosexual, or abuse younger players trying to play as a Cop and RP, then say "hey brah it was part of the RP/Banter", well, I dislike this. I dont get mad at them personally. I protect those that need me to. I see through peoples lies. The wider community (I think?) likes me. A few Ex -this or Former -that's, not so much. I work hard, for you guys, to make the Server safe and fair. Do I remove people sometimes? Yes. Will I look at toning this down if advised to by @Tiggati. You bet. We serve at the behest and coaching of the Head Leads. This doesn't mean I like it when people run to him or @LuckyB33f with made up bullshit, saying something that went for an hour was up for three, or people got slapped around in there homes, or that 111 Helicopters nuked the city for 3 days. I know some of the above wont make sense to some people. Long story short? I love the Community. I love being Admin and a Cop. I love it all. I will only go when I am told my time is up, or I move into another role. I pledge you all I wont let the Trolls and people looking to tear down whats been built to get to me as much as they did in the last 2-3 days. Some people have disappointed me in there actions. I am in it for the long haul. I try to be hard but, more importantly, fair. Lets make Altis Life about the RP and Events, not about the banter and guns so much. I am around in the TS, or PM me anything you want to see happen, and come directly at me if you have a concern over a decision or a Ban. Your free to go to Heads or whatever, and then I explain my actions to them. They either back me, or admonish me. Anyway, read my much more important stuff, the Events, the Donator Skins, the other things going down. I was never leaving. I just got right down in the Pit with the negative crap. The deployment of a police presence in this area is in my planning and in the hearts and minds of all police, we seek to fight this battle. But we are hindered by Politicians, and budgetary concerns, and the overwhelming criminal presence in Sydney. We will look towards your fair city and reach out to you as and where we can but this area has become a haven for people in there heavy vehicles and helicopters, and we are unable to match them for numbers at times. I feel sorrow at your mention of your children. I too have known loss, comrades on the field of battle, and officers that have felt this passion to fight too profoundly, and moved on from our employ into other area's. But we welcome in fresh blood and seek to fight back with a renewed strength and sense of purpose. A formal letter has been delivered to the Police department, and various different government officials and all Media outlets throughout Altis. The letter reads. "To whom it may concern, My name is Tobius Chrome, I live in the city of Melbourne, A town so filled with criminals and crime, that any infrastructure that we once had has vanished, Family's are going hungry, Children, are resorting to petty crime and stealing from what few shops remain open, so that they can go to sleep with some food in their stomach. I have included a photo in this letter of my family, now what i have not mentioned is that my children have become addicted to drugs, probably dead by now it has been so long since i saw them last. My wife was taken by a rebel group that comes in to the town in these big vehicles of war, and causes mayhem and menace, at every chance. So now I live in constant fear, as a broken man, seeing my family torn apart by raiders, criminals and thugs. The police presence has not been felt here after the police pulled out during a previous encounter with gangs, leaving us high and dry, I write this in the hope that someone will read this, someone will do something about this. Because we can't survive much longer... Please.. Help us... "

Hey there. People love Events. Some people dislike them or have a seperate Agenda. How anything that people love and flock to, that seperates us from other Servers and provides so much laughter and fun, money prizes and great photos can make others so mad is beyond me. I think that times if I turned a turnip into a silver bar and gave it to them they would cry it wasn't gold. But ANYWAY. I am looking at getting more organized and providing more of a lead in. Events dont exclude anyone, all are welcome but I will be putting on some Events that are rewards for supporting the community, and there will be some Events that are custom made for people based on good work in the Community and other criteria. GREENS : Basic levels. For newer players and experienced. I provide everything. These may kickoff with a few days notice, or even a few hours. Dont need many people for these, they play at lower play times, week nights, or whatever else. I drop these if things seem a bit stale, or people need some fun. Sometimes these are posted up to signup, other times I will Admin Message GREEN EVENT : - etc etc. Examples : Deathmatch Arena at Ochro Limni TURQOISES : More intricate. Competitions with a buy in and a goal. Often held with a weeks notice, teams may be setup or random. Examples : Fight Club, Masters of War. These are rarer, maybe one a week or fortnightly. Posts up for signup on the forums, cant just rock up on the day. Fully catered for, guns, food, water, gear, sometimes BYO. SILVERS : Full RP immersion Scenarios. Everything you need provided. No buy ins. Sign up to come along. Can be removed from these if your ruining the experience, or not going with the group vibe. Examples : The Hunted, Camp Crystal. GOLDS : Rare. For the truly dedicated. Massive RP. A buy in. BYO gear. Longer time frame, may be on this for hours. Really intense. None yet done. These are the pinnacle of RP skill, teamwork, immersion. Heavy action, puzzles, crime solving. Can be anything. Lead in to these will be 1-2 weeks. So there you go!! With this in mind an event is up now, the first Turqoise under the new setup. Hey Guys, So, @Roger Purple, @CptKirk, and I went and pulled out a huge amount of the new Donator skins. They look amazing, great work done by everyone involved in getting them textured, and updating to get them in the game. Some minor bugs (SPOOOKY HOVERCARS) but the lads have all worked really hard, so this is the thread to applaud them, say thanks, and really get behind this. The Chromed gear looks insanely good, and Kirk's SUVs and the Hello Kitty Hatchback are in my Garage, WINNERS. If you have never dontated before, I would say, man, now is the time, this gear is awesome, and it just looks so fresh when your used to thet other colours. So to @LuckyB33f, @Aidanjr and @CptKirk a real heartfelt thanks for making the Server look so great. @Kerry and @Cake I include in this, a lot of hours getting poured into the new Dev stuff, and the Map. Find below a few photos of the gear we pulled out. I will be taking some of this stuff to players tonight, and chucking them the keys for them to roam around in the new choppers and stuff, and get the new gear out there for people to have a look at. Prob not to certain nameless Pirates that crashed my Helicopter though....that being said I crashed one as well. #thuglyfe and all. Hi guys, Dev stuff is on hold for a couple weeks during uni exams. I'll find some time to upload a couple bug fixes (side mission POW civilians not talking, and FOB laptops) and will keep the lights on, but that's about it.

Pretty sure it works, but it doesn't really do much at the moment.
