1 pointI highly recommend a Gametracker wipe with the new price changes and money wipe. Gametraker is a very useful tool and the statistics you gain would allow you to see if the price changes have made a difference to overall gameplay. It would also allow others to track their progression and so far I've heard a lot of people wanting this. This should be done with every money wipe.

1 pointBefore yours get rid of the guns and when we get comp, can you place the price so we know what to expect here on the forums @TrueBlue.

1 pointBring back the server will restart in xx warning. Rather than having it just come up in the chat box possibly have it come up on screen at intervals like 30min, 10 min, 5min, 2min. (I'm not even sure if this is a setting) Last but not least it would be good if players didn't just show up on the map. Countless times I've found player via map abuse. I don't even see them but they just show up on the map sometimes at their exact position. When a player shoots at you why should the map show where the player is?

1 pointServer restart messages have finally been re implemented. 10 and 5 minutes before server restart.

1 pointOk guys please don't start to argue. This is the tip of the iceberg. That i agree with. These changes are just the start. The issue's that can't be seen is the way the Police Force is carrying out the way they conduct themselves. The biggest issue with the Altis Life sever is lack of ROLE PLAY. Everyone is all about shoot first ask questions later. This expected from Rebels not Police. We don't need all these high end weapons to role play. With the way The Police Force conduct themselves isn't up to staff. This is up to the Commissioner and his counter parts. To be honest this isn't being done well at all. Hence why myself and staff have intervened. Not one person was recommended for the top position so I looked outside the square. This reflex's poorly on the Police and in-turn we are losing members on the server. As you stated @Blackout there isn't enough cops online or higher ups. This is due to 2 reasons in my eyes. 1. People don't enjoy playing cop. 2. It's not about what you know. Its who you know. I can name a lot of our members who have played cop for 100+ hours and still haven't got anywhere due to them not being liked or because they don't have a tick or a shield next to their name. This will stop with a Commissioner who isn't bias and doesn't pick higher ups due to whether they are liked by the SRT guys, but are promoted on there performance and actions they take in game. As for SP, Im not going to build the Altis Life server around these guys. This is the most elite rebel gang we have on our server. Its not up to staff to counter this. It is up to the police force to come up with ways to counter. If I was to make changes around this one gang then the rest of the server would struggle and not enjoy playing. For example, why not try training with SP. I know these guys are always up to help and role play hostage situations. SP used to be asked on a weekly biases to help with training and it worked. @Zehaava I don't do things on the fly. Its being introduced on the 20th due to the prep that needs to go into it. I have multiple staff getting these task done. This takes time and effort. Its not a simple task. If these changes don't work then we will make further adjustments. This is not going to be a one off thing.

1 pointYes there are other issues but this isn't the post to talk about that. I think what @Saundo was getting at that this is just gear/weapon/vech changes, not the other stuff thats going on. Learn to see where the other person is coming from. If you wanna discuss the "internal problems" in PD and make changes about it, then make a post. This isn't the place to do it...this is about gear changes. Or at least this is how I'm seeing it.

1 point@SmO i feel that the majority of people that have a lot of weapons from cops dont have alot of money issues or even care about money any more so comping their hard earned weapons would be the same as taking them away, Using me for example i have around 10 special carrier rigs 20+ MxM's and well over 150 magazines and have 100 Million. in saying this having an extra 10 mill or so would be nothing but loosing those weapons would be a much bigger loss.

1 pointAll the stuff that doesn't relate to this topic at all? Yeah that's kinda what we got from your first post. Adjustments to gear/equipment doesn't effect the cops own internal problems big fella.

1 pointThe Ghosthawk as a transport helo would be nice if made possible. Also adding in the door less and unarmed Hellcat (hide the weapon mount wings/ pod would be great) would nice.

1 pointhmm. Is it really a great idea to remove all this gear that people have worked had for and expect them to be happy with $??

1 pointI don't see this change as the best move for the server, considering what's been occurring recently. Let's be frank about it; -Cops have been getting steam-rolled. Only 1 in every 4 firefights will result in a positive outcome for the APD. This comes down to many reasons, but mostly; i) APD is understaffed ii) APD has insufficient senior-ranking officers online iii) APD has inadequate gear and weaponry to deal with the threats posed to them and the public. (You don't go up against AK47's and MK18 ABR's with Knock-down rounds. It's simple math - a 7.62mm will outgun and outrange the 6.5mm and 5.56mm weapons we have. Every time) -Further to that, the shuffling around and inconsistency in the APD causing a domino-effect through the APD and , by extension, affecting the population of Altis. Having a strong, consistent and most importantly, present senior ranking structure will have a tremendously high impact. Furthermore in the issue of the Commissioner - whilst Martin has my support, I'm aware there's been some shakiness at the top level; and i can hope that we see some consistency now. Changing , or worse, outsourcing the APD Commissioner - will create more problems that it would solve. -These changes to police-gear access will almost nullify the utility of SRT and Intel. -Without proper representation at a staff / admin level by APD Senior Command, there will be a sever lack of support for the APD every time staff-related issues arise - which they will - between rebels, criminals and the APD. My concern is that things will get worse - much worse - before they get any better. I fear that by reducing the capabilities of APD when , it is already painfully evident every single time a bank happens , we're going to our certain doom. This also holds true every time Sydney is invaded by rebels. The current issues in the server don't just arise from the APD, or just rebels , or staff - there are issues at every level that need to be addressed. I know there isn't a magic wand to fix it all, but we can't ignore it either. This post may seem like it's just attacking staff, but i'm speaking plainly and directly and giving feedback. After discussing my opinions and views with other police, i can say safely that much of what I've said here is shared by other police officers.
