Value For life Rule (VLR) Value For life Rule (VLR) added to the main rules set for Altis Life. But not in affect, will be in full effect soon. This rule has been used but was not added in the the master rules when first written. This rule has always been a general understanding with players when playing Altis Life Server. Now the rule has been written and added to define VLR. Value For life Rule (VLR) Value for life rule means you must not get involved in situations that you're not involved with in the first place, you must value your life above all else. If you put yourself in a dangerous situation it's your fault. If you are killed not following instructions, loitering around areas after you have been told to move on, entering combat areas you're not involved with, it will be considered breaking Value For Life Rule. You can not 3rd party any situation. If you're not involved in the RolePlay, you can not get yourself involved. Those undertaking actions that fall outside valuing their life may forfeit any claim to RDM or Compensation via the Forums. If you are found to have charged into a gunfight unarmed trying to loot something, or acted in a way that goes against the valuing of your life in game; you may forfeit any Comp claim and may be banned. Give real thought to your actions in game before trolling or abusing this rule. If you place yourself in harms way willingly and with no thought to your life or the lives or game play of others you may be forced to Comp them, and still be banned for your actions. Valued Life Rule states “basic human need to survive will govern actions by player, not a desire to cause problems, or accumulate items/money in game” VLR means everything from standing in the middle of the road, to provoking Cops into killing you, anything that acts against the basic human desire to survive can push you into a bad situation Comp/Ban wise. Be warned! Please read the Altis Life Rules for more information.

------- At the end of this post is a link for all that may of missed, was unable to attend to or just want to even just want a re-watch and re-cap of what happened at the ANZAC march on the ALTIS server. I will say it was absolutely amazing to experience and the speech given was beautiful from Lachlan. I have lost family members in Gallipoli so ANZAC is extremely special to me as well as quite a serious event. I did march in the early morning as well as wanting to witness it in-game and capture something I don't want to forget from the community. SADLY, if I didn't cut down the footage to that much you'd all be watching a video that's gone 15+ minutes which I didn't want, I wanted to really show importance on the speech given as well as the minute silence. I do want to thank Admins,Owners and just the community itself for rocking up to an event and hardly trolling it. (Except at the end...) There's a lot of other options of views I wanted to do for recording this, especially aerial. But due to timing and rushing quite a few things to get a spot here and there and not missing it I was unable to get anything too spectacular, but regardless to that I quite like the footage I got. Can't wait for other footage to show up. ------- CLICK ME FOR THE VIDEO

I would just like to thank the admins, police force, civilians and all people alike for getting together to commemorate the ANZAC spirit. Let us always think of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our freedoms here in Australia and New Zealand. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Lest We Forget EDIT: I had to reduce the video quality a bit so I could actually upload it to YouTube.

Hi All. As a number of you already know, there has been plenty of suggestions on how to slow down the fps drop after a server restart. Well, a few members of our community have suggested that IF it is possible, perhaps between 1 to 3 server restarts base building parts become deleted unlocked; this way it could remove any objects that users haven't/ will not use at the next restart, thus hopefully decreasing the loading time and slow down the drop of FPS for the next 6 (soon to be 4 hopefully) hour restart. PLEASE NOTE: This Post is a merely a suggestion. Should Moderators find this information useful in developing the game, changes and implementation of such ideas may not happen till later in the future. Respect that some ideas (no matter how awesome they may sound) cannot be scripted into the game. Regards. Unit_3397.

Anzac troops return to Gallipoli by picket boat after a period of rest and reorganisation on the Greek island of Lemnos(Altis in Arma 3). After the battles at Chunuk Bair and Hill 60, the New Zealand infantry and mounted rifles were sent to Lemnos in mid-September 1915 to rest and receive reinforcements from Egypt. They spent seven weeks at Sarpi Camp, near the village of Mudros (now Moudros), before returning to Gallipoli in early November. So since Anzac day has passed but it kind of still is around us, anyone who has any stories about family members or friends who have fallen in the fight for Gallipoli or in any war for that fact as I love hearing these stories of fallen comrades and people who have put the lives on the line for people they don't even know and sacrificed themselves for us. So I have a little story my great uncle Burton was in the Gallipoli dawn launch and survived for a few days and saved pulled 5 of his comrades to safety and one recovered and Burton was given a medal (cant remember which one) but the guy survived and lived until he passed away in 1986. unfortunately Burton popped his head out of the trenches at Gallipoli and had his head blown off by a artillery shell and his head was blown clear off. So yeah leave us your story's below.

Short and simple. I propose that instead of every 6 hours having a restart. That time is brought foward to 3 hours? Maybe 4? Some days just 2 hours after the restart the FPS is bad and lag is UNREAL! I personally cant see the down side to more frequent restarts.. With love ! - Mr. Snow Leopard // See ya on the end of me .408 //

Two hundred and thirty-four Anzac soldiers remain on Altis, buried in the islands Commonwealth Military Cemeteries. They are a continuing reminder of the sacrifice made by Australia and New Zealand soldiers as part of the Gallipoli campaign. East Mudros Military Cemetery The main military cemetery on Lemnos(Altis) is located at East Mudros(Pyrgos). It is situated on rising ground on the north-east side of the village of Mudros and is about 1 km out of the village, next to the Greek Civil Cemetery. Mudros is located on the east side of Mudros Bay(Pyrgos Golf), on the way to Kaminia(Chalkea) village. The cemetery was begun in April 1915 and used until September 1919. It contains 885 Commonwealth burials of the First World War, 86 of them unidentified, and one Second World War burial. There are also seven non-naval graves and 32 burials of other nationalities in the cemetery, 29 of them Russians who died in the evacuation of Novorossisk in 1921, who are remembered on a memorial plaque set into the boundary wall. The cemetery also includes separate memorials dedicated to Indian, French and British dead and a memorial erected to sailors of HMS Agamemnon who died in service during the Gallipoli campaign. There are 98 Australians and 47 New Zealanders identified and buried in this Military Cemetery. Our service, special thanks to Quicksilver for making it happen.

You need to FIX this i died 6 time tonight trying to deploy my chute form a height of 300 - 400 mtrs and i still died, this is only 3 hrs into server uptime its bad enough that have to deal with lag but when you cant even spawn then its a problem. Ive logged off and so did others before due the poor game play. I think you could help the server by reducing the amount of rubbish you have spawn e.g hatch back, police boats remove bloody gocarts and other rubbish like that.
