Moving forward there will now be a new process with the way that the police whitelist applications will be reviewed and processed. The reason for this change is to try and not only streamline the interview process itself but to also better manage the flow of the new white listed players and their training. With the new process the applications will be decided one week and in the following week the interviews will be done, during the week of interviews NO whitelist applications will be actioned, this is the time the applications themselves will be reviewed. This will also provide better understanding as to when your whitelist interviews will be done and more importantly help and maintain a steady flow between interviews and making sure the new whitelests receive the necessary training and settle into their duties. Hello @Rat66, If you use the method stated in the first post (https://armasquads.com/) then I can help you out with any issues that you have there. When I get home I am going to make a post (and I'll link it here) with a more detailed approach and some common troubleshooting methods but until then I can walk you though some things. In the new Arma the location of the profile managment has changed follow these steps to get the space to add a XML link (from privately hosted website i.e armasquads.com) 1. have your link copied to your clipboard (highlight link and press CTRL+C). 2. Go to the main menu of Arma. 3. In the top right hand corner you will see a figure of a person, Hover over that person and then click on your name. 4. Select which one of your profiles you want to attach the squad URL to. 5. In the top bar you will see two sections 'Avatar' and 'Unit', Click on Unit. 6. In this page there might not be anything yet so click edit and you will see a section called unit. Click on the little arrow next to that and select 'Custom'. 7. Once you have selected custom you will see two new boxes appear 'Squad XML' and 'Player UID' 8. Your player UID is the your personal identification number which servers use to tell that you are you (no matter how many profiles you have) It is linked to your STEAM ID. 9. Go to the Squad XML section and click on the box next to it and then just paste (CTRL+V) in your Squad XML link that you copied before. 10. Press apply and you are good to rock an awesome logo in the battlefield (assuming you set up your XML properly) GAME ON If you have any more questions feel free to ask as I see myself as a bit of a subject matter expert on most things to do with XML Best Regards, Yuri

G'day Everyone As we all know the database wiped the vehicles, this was due to corruption inside the database, from what Luckyb33f has told us, we are current working out a solution to this problem. Very Soon we were going to give you guys a heads up to sell your vehicles, houses, so when the new Altis Life comes out, everything including money, and what you have on you will come across, now the database corruption has made this null and void, but as i said we are working on a fix either its comp or some sort of fix, please keep an eye on this forum to the update. Dear the Strayagaming Community, This post is not attacking nor singling out an indiviual with in the community. This is just a rant about a huge topic... Terrorism RP has to stop... It way be fine to a certain extent but over the past week its been taken too far. A 'Terrorist' on Altis Life is a person who robs banks, kills civilians etc. However, people who say 'Allah Akbar' at a police officer or to another civilian is a bannable offence. I know this may be stated in the rules but its had a huge impact on a few people including me. Although i have no ties to islam or their practices, its just not tolerated and has no place within the Strayagaming community. I have lost my temper a few times because of this occurring. Its not on... Im really hoping this message is clear enough for everyone to understand and i hope i made enough sense Sincerely, ~Flex

It is defiantly against our Rules to role play or say anything regarding any terrorist acts, we keep the servers clean and in role play. The idea of gaming and a gaming community, is to go to a world or land away from real life and play a character you wouldn't play in the real world, do things that you wouldn't do and meet awesome people. I apologize on behalf of the staff that this has happened to you Flex, next time if this happens please either poke myself or another staff member to get this dealt with ASAP. Cheers!
