14/02/17 Changes: Recruitable AI have been re-added. They will automatically be removed from all Ironside vehicles. Smoke grenades thrown near HQ's are automatically deleted when there are many players nearby. Added restriction disallowing Pilots from using base Artillery when >20 players. Only Pilots can deploy ropes now. Once deployed, players outside the chopper can control them as normal. Removed automated group messages such as "Regroup", "Contact - Enemy - 100m", etc.. Added button in Comm-Link menu that automatically joins Teamspeak when clicked. Added support for JSRS 5.17 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=861133494. Support for JSRS4 Apex will be removed 20/02/17.

I understand them pulling you into the issues channel about a potential rule break and had a chat with you all, but there shouldn't be any hostility coming from any staff member, as they should know how to handle situations and what to say in a heated situation. Especially an administrator of a server.

Do the staff need to be trained for Customer Service? So this seems like a common question that gets thrown around the Altis Life Community, I'll give an example of a few things that have happened today. So tonight myself and @AUSIIImac21 took another player hostage and we told him "If you go and rob this bank for us we will cover you on the hills and split your payment and you will be let go" so this robbery starts happening and within 3 minutes of the SERVER ALERT going off I manage to kill 2 police officers, a 3rd one comes up the hill and then a message is sent out over the ENTIRE SERVER saying "HOLD FIRE AT THE BANK" and then Snowwie starts going off at me in side-chat saying I broke all these rules and I told him that it was all apart of role-play and that it should all be okay seeing as we were with the guy that was doing bank. I then get told to go to Altis Life Issues and whilst myself and don Pablo are up there they start going off at us saying that we broke multiple rules which included RDM, Baiting Cops and another one which I can't recall because it was so silly. We were trying to explain to them exactly what went down and told them it was all in good taste as it was role-play because it is a role-play server? I'm not sure whether this is a role-play server or a cops vs rebels server? After this all went down I was banned for 1 Day for RDM. My friend Fragnarr got called a Smartass by Snowwie and then got banned a few minutes later all because he retaliated and called him a Smartass back, why are there double standards here? We're all human and they act like superiors with a greater power than us. I get that you're an a Staff member but you're there for Customer Service not to dictate and run the server like your little playground as you see fit. A few players get targeted by staff, this shouldn't happen. You shouldn't have to watch over us like hawks, the only reason you should be in contact with us is if we need help or there is an issue and not to just dictate the server as you see fit. the editor is great for setting up your controls. i get you're a noob but this is a public server. people need transporting at pretty much all times. you couldve said in chat. "hey im sorting out my settings can you give me a minute" and i would say yea but afterwards join ts. but you didnt. i didnt ban you straight away i kicked you first. with the message "pilot not on teamspeak" that would give an indication as to why i kicked you. its not just a problem for me but a problem for other pilots who dont have comms with you and the players on the ground who dont have transport. coming from a 30 year old calling me a hitler.... was not abusing my powers. i was simply kicking you for not being on teamspeak

Alright first of all. i warned you multiple times with the ingame side chat. you say you are 30 yet you make a post like this swearing and everything even resorting to name calling. i kicked you from the slot hoping you would join back and ask why. or even better come on teamspeak. but instead you got into a heli and started flying. i warned you again with no response. you kept flying around. so i banned you for 6 hours. you can put in an unban request. and be a bit more mature about it and ill consider unbanning you. cheers

It turns out the way we do it is actually terrain smoothing,. This means only the land around you is in its actual form, while land further away from you is flattened out making it easier on the game. We try to keep our skins a bit more realistic, so only implementing different types of camouflages and things like that. These skins are pretty sick though. I don't think we'll be adding anything similar to these unless, as Ryan said, there is very high demand for it.

The first clip where you hit 6 or 7 of us in the hummingbird at Rogain was the hilarious in the moment since the only reason we were still on the ground is someone in the group bought SPMG mags for a Navid and had to go back to the store then you hit us right as he came back

AFAIK, right now they are only available on Altis Life, however, I'm sure one of the I&A devs can speak to the person who made the textures and have them put in if there is demand for it. Yes, VIP levels are cumulative.

on top of what sweet said, another option is ask the CAS pilot to join your group, make a new one and just be you and them, call them in and talk as much as you need to get them on target through the in game group chat

The real problem is no one realises how difficult jets are to use againist infrantry, the people that complain about jets being overpowered are the people with no vehicle experience or common sense. E.g oh look opfor has a jet better get in vehicles repeatedly and die then complain about how easy jets are to use. I've said this plenty of times but it only takes 2 aa missles to kill a jet regardless if they have flares or not, you just need half a brain and good postioning to kill one. 5 sets of flares is nothing vs 2or3 people with aa launchers, i believe the reason they where removed is because too many people where complaining and leaving the server due to the 4 people who actually know how to use jets. Moral of the story when vsing jets play smart dont enter gunstores or vehicles.
