This map looks like great fun! But Stratis is my home away from home. I would miss that place like crazy. If it's possible id like to play this new map for two months straight to get a good feel for it. And then maybe go to weekly or monthly rotations between Stratis and Malden that way wasteland won't feel as repetitive.

I remember playing Wasteland on Altis and it being a massive map for this gamemode. When I came to SG Wasteland on Stratis felt... confined, cramped, like you had very little time to get yourself setup before losing it all in a firefight. My opinion is to develop Wasteland for Malden, as it's free DLC so no barriers to entry and this change would increase playercount just for curiosity. If, and I don't think this will happen, but if Malden becomes less popular that Stratis that map is already developed and you can look at rolling it back later.

Wouldn't it be cool if the wasteland server have this enabled? I personally think adding the modules would be a great idea, a more realistic damage module, gauges, as previously gauges are only accessible in the little bird. others are blurred out. It will of course be a bit more challenging then the standard flight module, but, arma is a game supposed to be challenging, and ultimately, realistic. Tell me what you guys think.

Would you guys be interested in having forum updates ( post ) just like the servers? Just plays with my head when things just disappear and we don't know what happened to them! Again, not sure how often it gets updated, just a thought @insanD

Hey, It used to be enabled on our server however we encountered an abuse where players could take off near instantly by switching flight models mid engine start, due to this we made the decision to disable it to stop players abusing this technique to obtain an advantage.

its not a module you can literally enable it ingame in the game settings if you want to. but it puts you at a disadvantage to other players and not good for small maps

I simply do not understand even the most basic logic around this "issue" First of all these are my opinions only, If you want to form a large or winning team, there are 2 teams to for you to choose from. We as SG Staff create a map based on what is best for the majority of the player base and community generally. Not specific teams or people There are probably lots of things Agent Rev has developed for the map but its up to the SG Staff to filter out what we want and don't want. The fact that you choose to restrict yourselves to a side that is at a size disadvantage is a personal problem If you genuinely want to integrate into the community and server, do not put yourselves in the position of being ostracized by saying all the other teams a crap and we demand the server be managed "this way" just to satisfy your own "teams" wishes.
