So as we all know the server is at it's lowest peek at this present time due to multiple reasons not only directing it to server-side issues, But as well IRL issues. This will be my Final post for giving out Suggestions for the Staff Team, If this post cannot get through someone's head on making a change than honestly i have no clue what will before i start you can take this as ''Connors Salty Again'' or I'm just a ''Toxic Retard'' this isn't a roast this is just the truth so don't take it to heart but take this post seriously. My first point will be Managers and Above. Your communication skill with the community isn't so good in fact its appalling every server up-date that comes out are thing's that the community had no say in, Its just what yous wanted to add because you thought it was right multiple people like @FarmerGeorge98 @Big Kev @Chadd @bouda118 @AceWinchester @MrMiller @JoshieYeezy @Jay, Myself and alot and im sure you know who you are. Now you say yous are talking about upcoming changes for Altis Life in the future, I dont see anyone even trying to communicate with the community only the people within the staff team. 1. Listen to people's post and at time you have which has actually really helped but at other times you just ignore it. 2. Trial suggestions for 1 - 2 weeks show that yous are willing to go to any extent to provide content for the server even if they are completely useless show us that yous are listening and prove us completely wrong. 3. Update the server alot more instead of every month yous have more than enough people in roles to fulfil the requests that get thrown at yous everyday. 4. Post Updates/Upcoming updates, Idea's on what yous could do to improve the current state of the server ''Communicate'' with us dont sit there whilst the server dies and realise at the last minute what yous need to do. 5. Have more community meetings discuss what you wanna see out of us and we can say what we expect out of yous. I've spoken to all of the current Staff Team Member's even if we aren't all on good terms i know your expectations for the server yet no one pitches idea's. Suggestions from previous community members/staff. Now these are multiple suggestions from multiple different community members as well as staff members and there are alot more to come, Now i have seen some responses and suggestions from alot of people including Managers + but has it actually gone any further than just a reply on the forums.... I'm unsure i cannot make that call but from my perspective I've seen nothing. We all are open to give suggestions and providing things for Staff that at times they can't and that goes the same way to us the community. Now you can choose to ignore this post or hide it if you think it is not needed or another way to rip at each others throats but all im saying is someone had to stand up and say something so like i said at the start this isn't to start a fight this is only to get your attention to sit down and be like maybe he is right maybe he is wrong idk, At this point im not the one to be criticising the staff but at this point over the past months/years i have given up on providing what i think the server needs. I don't really have the time to respond to this properly, and in-depth, but I can briefly explain some tidbits. The money that comes into the community goes mostly back into running costs, anything extra is saved up for giveaways or paying for development. Unfortunately there isn't enough coming in to pay for a competent developer full-time, not to mention that they are also extremely rare. Arma3 is an old game and our mission is very complex compared to your average Altis Life server, it takes longer to understand how it works, it takes more effort to write code that is up to scratch, and it takes even longer to find someone we can trust. We have tried getting other Developers to assist us, after going through several we have failed to find anyone that has more than the ability to plagarise or write a really basic script. With Connor gone development will be slow, and there are currently issues on-going internally I am trying to deal with. We are trying to get things back on track, i'm sorry it is taking a long time, but this really isn't an easy task.

My time has come, thank you all for supporting me and motivating me to be the best I could be. I may not have got along with everybody but I will miss everyone and everything. Big thanks to my Cabinet / Command team and those in the staff team who helped me the most. Best of Luck to everyone on the server. After i spoke my piece. The previous Commissioner Augnov & I went to a feud. and after he posted (Publicly) some very demeaning pictures of me & one of my friends. I got pretty pissed off. & I resigned from the cop force. About a month after that. I came on the Straya teamspeak to see some old mates. whilst talking, Augnov came down & had his picture discriminating against me. I then brought a picture I had defacing him. (Yes i know not the smartest thing to do). after that he blacklisted me. Before i got my picture. I spoke to Internal affairs & staff, regarding the fact that he was running around with a photo defacing me. & made it very clear that I was not okay with it. & nothing was done. But it is a bit unfair that 2 people can commit the same crime whilst only one gets punished. especially when you are punished by the other guy committing the same crime. Hey! Each team will have access to the same limited arsenal of weapons and gear. It will be up to you as to what gear you use and which role you will fulfil in your team. Your server commanders may have more to say on the matter when they plan your strategy

That was 2 months worth of donations unfortunately, we forgot to roll the month over for the donation goals. These are the donation goals, you can see than there isn't a goal starting 01/01 and ending 01/02

I think I speak for the community when I say thankyou for the explanation, and obviously take your time & don't rush it. We don't want a ****ed up, slow, buggy mission file like we used to (rip server every 30 mins??) This isn't supposed to be an attack or anything, just a question - the main page says server operation costs are 572 dollars a month, however last month pulled somewhere over 1000 dollars - where does that surplus money go? I know a lot of other communities provide a dollar by dollar breakdown of what constitutes the operational costs. Regards.

May I add that the majority of those donations originated from Invade and Annex, which keep your server up and running. So naturally (idk what they actually do with it tho) that excess money should go into Invade and Annex, the server that those players donated for...

Play other servers and you can play comfortably on 60 frames, play on straya and your playing borderline 20 frames which is bloody awful, so much needs fixed and so much needs to be added, management prefer to make memes then fix the server.

Meets donation goals, doesn't hire any developers to work on the game... Not to mention the much needed optimization the server needs in order for us not to be playing at 20 fps.

Maverick would be a great Sergeant, he is already a great asset to the detective team. He would have to prove himself against the other Detectives though.

I have seen contracting groups work extremely well on other servers, Forcegaming had Blackwater which was a step above the police force they were essentially a PMC. GTA had NATO, When NATO were called rebels ran for the hills. I don't see contractors having a big of part to play as they have on other servers but i want to see them included, Adds another faction of roleplay, More combat to KoS zones and more numbers the APD can call on in times of need, I think they need to be Incorporated better somehow though, No bigger meme than seeing "SIS responding to bank" than half of them killed by the APD ?
