Can you provide the names of the officers who gave you a ticket in that situation? We're trying our best to improve and maintain the roleplay quality of cops, but we can't do that if people aren't reporting them.

Hello All, Over the period of 2 weeks, ending as of the 22/1/18. We will be running a trial on a couple things. First, as many of you probably noticed already, we are adding a rule to the federal reserve. This will stop anyone joining the fed from either party after the bomb has detonated. This is as discussed in the Community Meeting held recently. Following on from the discussions regarding the moving of the police checkpoints. Which you can read about here. We have redesigned and moved the police checkpoint further into city limits. Thanks to @Excel for the design that you can see here. This design is based upon the design that was created by @Zorgain, which you can see in the discussions thread as linked above. We will aim to have this added in a future update. There may be some changes made to it before then. There will be no rule changes regarding it immediately, however depending on how it all plays out, we may make modifications to suit how we intend the checkpoint to function. Following on from this, in the recent AL staff meeting. We have decided to change 2 additional rules. This will be the removal of rule 8.1.1 and the addition of rule 13.5.2

This was seen as a setup by other officers as it happened about 10 minutes after I joined the server. This was however not the case and I had no intentions of being taken hostage by these people regardless of what gang they came from. I believe the situation was a confusing and annoying one for all involved including the gang who took me hostage as they were refused negotiations and in turn resulted in the death of me, the hostage. I was trying to encourage some role play as I did know where I was taken from was a safe zone but their was no intervention from any staff so I thought it was a prime opportunity to have some role play as every year most hostage situations involve some Christmas tunes and it's a laugh for everyone I did not think this would result in a blacklist. Why the appeal should be accepted: I believe these actions do not represent my attitude on cop and corruption was not on my mind when I was taken hostage and it will never be. Cop is my favourite faction on Altis as it gives you a chance to role play with civilians and enjoy the odd gunfight. I have never received a warning, strike or a demotion before this blacklist and believe that my punishment was necessary. In the end I believe my frustration got the better of me which is why I sent those messages to Augnov and in reality the words that I chose were not the best and regret what I had said. Any other information: I understand how the situation may look to the other officers of the APD but in reality it was really a wrong place wrong time situation and was not a preconceived plan that I would be taken hostage that day. \ Regards, SmO

There are currently 4 roles. Engineer, Combat lifesaver, Assaultdiver ,Sniper. all with special traits and starting items. I would like to have a Mercenary role where any team Blufor Opfor Inde. can pay you to kill or complete certain objectives, for examples. Someone were to hire a mercenary for 70K to buy a Wipeout and complete the heavy Moneyshipment and other objectives while also giving 10% cuts on them. Someone were to hire a mercenary to take out a certain tank or jet. they would pay about 12k for the AA or AT. or even pay them for the jet or heli they would use to take them out Someone were to hire a Mercenary to kill a specific player. they would pay 30k and tell the last known position of the player. This is just a small idea, my friend and i like to fly jets n shit but we have no one to fly them for but ourselves. which does get boring if we do an objective because we can't secure the money/object.

There has been countless times over the past few weeks where I've sat in Altis life issues for 30-60minutes. I apprecaite everyone has a life but I think the fact the server is growing that you need to add more moderators. As said by @diamondwing GD don't always have permission to go out past or even go to police checkpoint as it is at the moment outside of city limits. The only time GD goes out past that or to Police checkpoint is with permission from Commanding officer with hunters because of terrorist action created by rebels that always seem to attempt to take over Police checkpoint or just shooting cops and robbing civilians on site. I will tell you that gun shots around Police checkpoint is a often occurrences sadly. I will also add from my experiences i think it is worse inside of Sydney..... Good luck driving around without being blown up by people that have no idea how to drive. At diving shop did any officer respond over text? And if not was a bank or fed going on? If not there was either some sort of other operation and/or a panic button was set off. If not even that then the dispatch message was either not seen because of something else quickly came up or the officers that were on at the time just didn't give a shit. This use to be a thing that happened every time until @Wex put a post on the police section on the forums around the start of November which he shouldn't of had to put up in the first place. I have noticed that this still happens but not as often.

I completely understand where you're coming from but people like Cables, Matthew, Kiwisniper and Corey. These people are dedicated members of the community regardless of the fact that some of them are not THE MOST active people they're still on a lot of the times where we need them.

I would rather no mods or admins then lots of mods or admin if i cant trust them... Just because they have an app doesnt mean they should move up... even now i still have some issues with some of the mods... admins are doing ay ok...

I have known donk for over a year now and his role play on and off the field is great! He shows dedication and goes down to the nitty gritty on role play making the play expericnce very immersive. He is also a good driver and communication in combat is an easy 10. I myself am a Senior Constable and I see donk as someone who is more than capable of filling the role of Sergant. Thanks, -K10W

@Johno126 I'm sorry to hear your issues with police response times and whatnot. I'll try re-iterate what's already been said and add a little bit. You should in the coming weeks see improved responses and patrols from police outside city limits, the new department Highway patrol is just now kicking off. As for going 15km over the limit out of a gunfight, the fact you were given that ticket is somewhat ludicrous, and to adress your other point, yes - we are pretty much always swamped. It's very hard to get a breath of air when on patrol - Speeders - Gunfights - Banks - Hostage Situations - Medical RP and a host of other things that happen time to time, constantly one after the other. Like @Wex said, if you encounter these issues please report them to us.

The night light shone through the streets of Sydney as the sun went down, the shadows slowing sink to the night. I was sitting at the market square as the night went on, I was craving somebody to cuddle through this freezing night, I had only recently lost my boyfriend of 4 years, he was so cute and I just wanted him to come back to me. My ex-boyfriend Caiden, found somebody better, I only found out because my friend told me he was doing the hanky panky dance with my friend, Zesty. This is the lower I had ever been and didn't think it could get any worse. Suddenly, I was awoken by a siren blasting through the town, never had I heard something so loud. I hear them getting closer and closer, I faintly recall opening my eyes and and seeing a Hatchback racing through the city and before I know it, I was struck by an object of sorts, I can't recall what it was because it happened so quick. I was rushed to the hospital by the medical team, immediately put into ICU, my trauma was so bad that I had their top surgeon come in, his name was Elite Pangtang. After many hours of being operated on I finally woke up, abruptly opening my eyes to a bright light and seeing so many people around me. I had no idea what happened and why I was here, I look to my left and see this officer in a really nice uniform, he was so hot. He comes over to me and says in a low tone "Hey miss, i'm really sorry what happened to you yesterday, we were chasing a lunatic who called himself "TheUgandanPrince" we caught him and I don't think he is ever going to be able to do that again" I gradually opened my mouth, but no words came out, I was so taken by his looks that I didn't have anything to say, I closed my mouth with ease and rested onto my back and stared at the ceiling just thinking about that officer. It had been 3 days in ICU when I was moved into recovery, the officer I had dreamed about earlier came back to check on me, I didn't even listen to him, I was so taken by his looks that I was drooling over him. He left me his number and told me to call him if I ever needed help, it was about 3 days later that I finally got out of the hospital, didn't have anything there for me, I had to make it on my own, I think it is the fastest I have ever made a call. I called him and he answered quite quickly, he asked how I was and we had a fair talk, then I asked if he could pick me up and he calmly told me it was his day off and that he was on the way. After he arrived we kicked things off quite quickly, I couldn't help myself but to tell him I was into him, he said the same, I was so excited and out of the blue asked if I could stay at his place till I found somewhere to go, he told me that I could stay at his, but he only had a single bed. That was fine with me, but when we got there he said I could have the bed and he would sleep on the couch because I had only just got out of Hospital, I felt so appreciated for once in my life, my ex didn't even treat me that well. A week had past and I was still at this officers place, his name was Rhys Beckett, I started imaging my name.. 'Renae Beckett' it goes so well. He was at work and trusted me to stay at his house for the week, our relationship was moving well. It had been about a month since I practically moved in, we got to know each other quite well and started dating. It turns out that Rhys had also lost his parents quite early on and had to fend for himself, that's why he became an officer so he could protect kids like him, I felt a deep connection so early on. It had been about 4 years of dating before he popped the question, I ecstatically jumped on him and gave him the biggest hug of my life and holler 'yes' so loudly that everyone looks at us and smiles. We had a small wedding because money was tight and didn't have many people there, but his friend Jake was there because they have always been close since school, he is such a cutie too because he looks so young. The first 2 years of our marriage was the best, we didn't have any children so we were free to do anything and everything, but then a shock came, I was pregnant with our first child. We didn't expect it and it was a complete shock to us, although I think we were quite prepared. It was 18 weeks into my pregnancy that we found the sex of our child, it was going to me a boy. We were overly excited as we discussed that a girl would be too much work to raise. We named our son 'd0nk' which stands for a customized 71-76 Chev Impala which is our favorite car. It was a rough pregnancy, d0nk came out at 9.6 kgs which is insane! He isn't a small little gringo, he is the cutest baby though. It was a cold May night as we sat on the beach and had fish and chips from 'Eggberts Salty Sea Fish' it was the best we had every had, and the owner, he was a different species. He was so funny and d0nk loved him to bits, his name was Chadd and was running the families fish shop. It hasn't been that long since I met the man that made my life what it is today, but over the last few years I have been in the police academy training to be an officer so I can follow the lead of my husband throughout the job.
