Altis is the only map to successfully keep players engaged for more than a few months. Tanoa and malden servers die out pretty quickly

Honestly I think that Altis is a pretty boring map as well as Stratis and feel that Tanoa will be a really cool map with islands and forestry areas. Malden isn't bad either. - Kevin Stevenson

Hello All, Over the period of 2 weeks, ending as of the 22/1/18. We will be running a trial on a couple things. First, as many of you probably noticed already, we are adding a rule to the federal reserve. This will stop anyone joining the fed from either party after the bomb has detonated. This is as discussed in the Community Meeting held recently. Following on from the discussions regarding the moving of the police checkpoints. Which you can read about here. We have redesigned and moved the police checkpoint further into city limits. Thanks to @Excel for the design that you can see here. This design is based upon the design that was created by @Zorgain, which you can see in the discussions thread as linked above. We will aim to have this added in a future update. There may be some changes made to it before then. There will be no rule changes regarding it immediately, however depending on how it all plays out, we may make modifications to suit how we intend the checkpoint to function. Following on from this, in the recent AL staff meeting. We have decided to change 2 additional rules. This will be the removal of rule 8.1.1 and the addition of rule 13.5.2

Oh and heres another map vote, wonder if thoughts have changed in 2018 Youll see the same old arguement for Tanoa but Malden might stand a chance.

Bit of a shame a malden sever would be great if it were to get the right exposure and player base.
