INTRODUCING STRAYAGAMING's IAWARDS Today we are bringing you a new way to engage with our servers and show off your prowess within the community, The IAward System! We wanted to provide you, the players, some goals within each server and our community as a whole to work towards and be recognized for. The awards are designed to encourage positive and skillful play, and to offer a challenge at the same time for people who want to go the extra mile and gain recognition for their achievements. A list of all of the categories and awards can be found here. It also contains the requirements to be eligible for each badge/award. Alternatively you can access the award section via the award button in the top menu (seen below). If you believe you are eligible for an award and it has not yet been assigned to you message myself or another member of the management team to have us confirm your eligibility and assign the award. Please note that for the more dynamic awards in the AL section (such as Robin Hood, Criminal Master Mind, No Honour Amongst Thieves) you will be expected to provide your own evidence (videos/screenshots) to support your claim of having completed the tasks. The list of IAwards will keep growing over time as we come up with more. If anyone has suggestions for new/additional awards feel free to send them to me. Im glad that you have seen that the server is PVP orientated. You guys are going in the right Direction. Some pointers/Suggestions: - Weekly Events, (Competition's (PVP Wise) Winner all loot) - Gang Wars Daily/Weekly/Monthly (Winner Gets SpecialLoot/IDK) @Connor., Speaking on behalf of the community. Hey All, As some of you have noticed or pointed out, the StrayaLife area on the forums has been removed. As many have also speculated, the project has also been cancelled and development has ceased for the mission. We’ve had to do this for a couple of reasons, first being @Connor.'s health. For those who don’t know, Connor has been in poor health for quite some time but in the later months of last year his condition deteriorated further. This has made it rather difficult to finish the mission file in a reasonable time frame and to the quality that we were striving for. The second reason is the focus of the mission StrayaLife was going to have a stronger focus on role play. Over time we have observed a clear desire from players for more combat oriented game play over decent role play, so we feel the final product of StrayaLife may not have been to most players taste. This does not mean however that all the work for StrayaLife will go to waste, the features that have been completed already can be ported over to Altis Life. One of the features intended for StrayaLife, a HD texture mod, is currently in development to be implemented into Altis Life. This will be an optional mod on the workshop that allows you to download and use full HD textures instead of the compressed textures in the mission file.. Moving forward, the development focus will shift back to Altis Life so let us know what you would like to see. We are looking at your suggestions to help us spend our time on what matters to you. -Altis Life Administration
