What is this all about? Recently, we have recorded a few individuals who have been using an exploitation method which we were alerted to recently. It appears that this method was rather popular. As such, we find it just to give them the popularity they so deserve. So sit back and eat some popcorn. All individuals who have been observed using the method have, and will be spoken to. Honesty goes a long way here. They will then have their houses wiped, their bank balance reduced to a maximum of 8 million and then banned for one week. (Outdated) Edit #2: The second round sees a ban of one month, with a chance for public appeal after one week. (Outdated) Edit #3: The third and all consecutive bans see an indefinite ban, with a chance for a public appeal. You will receive a complete player wipe. If you have duped in the past, are currently duping, know of dupers or of duplication methods, we suggest that you come forward (we can discuss incentives). Funding the War Effort In recent times, there have been situations in regards to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisations (NATO) involvement in the North Atlantic Oceanic regions. The beautiful islands of Azores in the North Pacific have recently come under fire for their involvement with CSAT, due to such, NATO has been attempting to remove their forces from the Islands. The most recent plans suggest that NATO is preparing for a massive large scale invasion on the once peaceful Island, however, their resources have become limited. Therefore they have requested for resources to be sent to them from the closest high scale manufacturing island in the North Pacific region. On the 2nd of June, Altis Police Department members and ADF personnel will be attempting to ship a large amount of equipment off to their forces that need it at Azores. Rebel and Civilians forces will attempt to stop them at all costs More information will be given as the event comes closer.

I drove from sydney to westpac and saw alot of hunters and rebel striders. There was no notification for a westpac bank so i messaged cops asking if there was a bank. Someone messaged me there was so I drove off down the hill and was watching the ghosthawk shoot at bank. I then saw it crash so i drove upto it and saluted and drove off. I did it a two-three times for a few kidneys and didn't even get that much money. Most of the stuff I had in my house was actually legitimately gathered from many morning runs and, after seeing all my hard work blown up before my eyes, it was rather eye-opening. Obviously, I am in the wrong but I quite enjoy playing on this server and will continue under the same name to hopefully one day rectify my name. They still spend their time in jail, the only thing that is removed if there are no sgts is the officer profit, which, well, you already make loads of. Boo Hoo, send them to jail. If they've just killed someone they probably already have a bounty anyways.

I was going to reply to this last week but got busy and forgot. my view is that yes thermals can be OP but i still feel they have a place in the server, so the different proposals I have ideas for are as follows, Thermal scopes in mission rewards Thermal scopes cost a token or two/token tab in gun store. One thing worth considering is that you can buy thermal resistant armour/clothes (special purpose suit/GA GL rig/helmet ect for people who want to counter thermals/play especially stealthily. Either way i'm prepared to trial the change/making them rewards only in the coming weeks and then considering the change permanently if a trial goes well/until i can recode the gun store to support tokens too

get rid of automatic manslaughter etc charged on the wanted list. Then people can roleplay being a criminal but when seen by a cop on rego they dont get pulled over immediately kills the fun and leaves all of the civs in sydney either trying to kill cops, or trying to kill civs, mostly both

Then the cop turns around and is shot in the head for... Searching a person without consent. If this were to be a rule, it would just be ANOTHER thing that civilians can be fined for while being processed...

These new changes will be in effect on 15/10/2017. Have a read on what is going to happen. The Altis Police Department has decided to implement Age Restrictions on those who wish to join. The Age Limit will be 15. This Age Limit will not be strict, we would like to give everyone a chance to play as a cop however will be making it more difficult for new applicants. If you are underaged and have applied for cop, you will have to undergo an interview with selected members of the Command Team and Academy before being whitelisted. This interview will be a judge of character and maturity. Anyone caught lying in their application will be blacklisted off cop for a month and will not be able to apply for 2 months. We would like everyone to be honest when applying. In addition, we are going to be a lot harsher on those who are immature or disruptive. This applies to players of all ages, not just those underaged. Every single cop represents the entire APD and by doing so you represent the server. If anyone does anything to defame the APD or the server, intentionally or not, they will be dealt with harshly. We currently have a zero tolerance for pub slots, anyone who doesn't follow simple instructions will be kicked off and possibly blacklisted until they appeal. If people are serious about cop they will do their best not to mess around and follow simple instructions. There is a high demand for cop, pubslots who take an excess amount of times getting on teamspeak or do not have teamspeak setup will be kicked to open up a slot for someone else.

Quick suggestion that some other servers have. Make it illegal to carry more than 2-3 magazines for your weapon at one time. This way you have enough for a defensive use, but it helps to curb offensive use of guns.
