1 pointOperation Iron Ryder MISSION OBJECTIVE: We have received intelligence reports that the CSAT 1st Armoured Brigade has recently completed trials on the T140 Angara 5K Main Battle Tank. In their attempt to break the deadlock on Tanoa, they have received a troop of these new tank units to the port of Lijnhaven, and our intel suggests they are storing them in the nearby airfield hangars prior to deploying them in combat. Task Force Straya has been tasked with capturing at least two of these tanks and at least two supporting Tempest repair vehicles, and then extracting them to the NATO/Straya airbase so we can further determine their capabilities. SQUAD SETUP: Commander for the operation is @decibel_spl The operation will comprise of: Callsign Alpha (Mechanised): Squad Lead: @Guardian Squad 2IC: (vacant) Callsign Bravo (Motorised Light Infantry): Squad Lead: @BigRed Squad 2IC: (vacant) Callsign Charlie: (Motorised Light Infantry): Squad Lead: @Swordster Squad 2IC: (vacant) Callsign Delta: (Helo insert/extraction support) Pilot: (vacant) Callsign Echo: (Overwatch) Squad Lead (vacant) * Note that Echo Squad will need to be deployed at least 30 minutes prior to the main deployment. Squad leaders and Commander @decibel_spl are planning the operation in the days leading up to Sunday 3rd February 2019. Volunteers for squads should message squad leads directly, or wait for appointment prior to the commencement of the operation. The mission details are initially as follow, but subject to final briefing and specific operational details from the operation commander and squad leaders. Phase One: Move to and secure the port facility of Lijnhaven. Phase Two: Upon successful securing of the port facility, capture and return two T140k Angara tanks, and two Tempest repair vehicles to the TaskForce Straya base of operations. FURTHER INFORMATION: All personnel participating are to be on the following StrayaGaming pop-up server at 11am AEDT. IP 139.99.153.147 Port 2322 Password: straya The operation is scheduled to start at 12pm AEDT. WEAPONS\UNIFORM: NATO Issue Uniform/Headgear. Weapons are at individual preference. NOTES: The objective is to secure the tanks, without destroying them. Speed and execution of action is key, otherwise the tanks may be crewed and used against us. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Big thumbs-up to @Guardian for the mission synopsis. @OrionSync for the banners. @Fitz for arranging the pop-up server.

1 pointOkay. I've decided to knock some orders together for the recon team. I was at work and thought I hadn't done them in years...I remember why, and it reminded me why I transferred to aviation. Simply put, we boat in, creep up, watch the airfield, tell everyone where the tanks and such are, then get the **** outa dodge. This is a silent surveillance mission, we shouldn't be shooting AT ALL. So if you want to play on the recon team but wanna get into combat, join one of the combat teams. I've already got @iopio on the team, and possible @Dogofwar. If the Zues's wish to go over these and let me know if there are changes to the mission that will gravely effect this. @decibel_spl @Crag_r @Guardian @Swordster if you wanna give these a quick once over that'd be great but it really isn't required after out brief last night. If you see things in square brackets, that's me as a real person commenting. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Recon Squad “Raven” Orders Caveats:- 1. These orders may change as further information becomes available from 2 Cell (Intel) in the form of strategic space based and HALE UAS (High Altitude Long Endurance Unmanned Aerial Systems) based reconnaissance and SIGINT [We’re going to ask Zues where we can expect resistance, as well as a bunch of other things] 2. Callsigns: -OPCON, Ranger -Team Alpha (Infantry), Cheetah -Team Bravo (IDFSWP/Infantry), Wolf -Mechanised Infantry, Rhino -Recon, Raven Comms Method: -Command elements and Patrol Leaders will utilise TeamSpeak -Each unit will utilise their own group channel [It’s not like we even use radios in ARMA, even TFAR is child’s play on the complications of real radios] _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As a side note to Zues, I'll need a small rubber boat. Also, I've set this up to only launch 30 minutes early but in reality we'd go in the night or two nights before. I'd love it if we didn't get in contact as we're even attempting to get the the OP as it'd kinda ruin the immersion.

1 pointAt this stage no additional mods will be added. As long as the units are blufor it's fine , using any other side is not possible. Generally speaking all creations will be Vanilla due to server constraints.

1 pointOperation Dawn's Break MISSION OBJECTIVE: CSAT have inadvertently created a window of opening for attack on their airfield based in Selakano. Intel reports show a large exchange of internal assets will be taking place, with a significant number of forces departing the airfield, exposing it for a brief period of time. NATO peacekeeping authorities have also reported inhumane treatment of the locals in the area and have stipulated the town be liberated and aid sent to the people. NATO forces are required to assault and clear out the town, allowing a small aid convoy to be brought in. From there, they must move in and capture the airfield. SQUAD SETUP: x2 Infantry Squad - Callsigns Dagger and Broadsword x1 Recon Team - Callsign Echo CAS\FSG STATUS: NATO have strongly stipulated no form of artillery or air support is to be used within the area of the town. They are however accepting of one air-strike within the airfield itself provided no civilians can be harmed. WEAPONS\UNIFORM: Standard NATO fatigues, Weaponry of choice, No grenades or grenade launchers within the town whatsoever, all AT assets to be used with extreme caution. IMPORTANT NOTE: The civilian population of Selakano is very fragile at this time and any unrest could cause an uproar among the people. There are to be NO civilian casualties during the course of this mission.
