Recently I made a bad decision by talking about something that pushed me to far, I'm here to say that at this time I have been community banned, i dont know what i can do, pretty much nothing, but back to the point i would like to say sorry to the people it affected and to the people i let down. I have been playing on this server aslong as i can remember, i have around 800-900 hours on this server and have enjoyed every bit, i have had some bans along the way, but haven't we all. Some people dont like me and some people dont mind me, but being on this server has changed my way of how i see everything, it got me into Army Cadets after i met a friend who lived in my area and did Cadets so i thought why not join. (50 Words min) When i was a pub slot my only goal was to reach sergeant, then i got into Academy and Detective, If i can become sergeant I believe it can enable many benefits for me, for example I am one of the late night cops because i am currently in a different time zone, where many Australians are either at school, or work, or asleep. And at that time there are normally civilians doing illegal stuff and there are no sergeants to place charges. I believe if i get sergeant I will be able to add charges to criminals and make sure they are dealt with probably for all there charges. I also believe that it will also allow me to help pub slots and higher ranking officers as it can expand my knowledge. In Academy i have learned even more how to help people, and in Detective I have learned how to work in a team better as we do ops. I have not done many inductions before, but i am starting to increase my efficiency as well as doing many training's and interviews as Academy. I have also taken CO whenever it was required or when i was free, or the slot was free, As sergeant i would love to help new Senior Constables learn how he/she can become a better and more efficient CO, and I would also like to learn how to Operate and lead a bank or any operation. STRAYAGAMING OPERATION VELVET THUNDER Soldiers, pay close attention to the following specifics of the Velvet Thunder operation. Any questions should be directed to your server commanders. MISSION BRIEF: In reference to the map above, please note the starting positions of each team. Bases are approximately 5-6km from the Ghost Hotel capture point, each with varying advantages and disadvantages. Please consider the following team assignments: OPFOR: Wasteland | BLUFOR: Invade & Annex | Independent: Altis Life In order to complete the operation and oust the opposing forces, your team must be accomplish one of the following: Kill ALL enemy players Capture the Ghost Hotel and hold the zone for 5 minutes Throughout the duration of the operation, side missions will be held in 3 designated side mission locations which are currently unknown to our intelligence personnel. We can confirm that high value gear, weaponry and potentially vehicles may be gained by completing these missions. MISCELLANEOUS SPECIFICS: Here are some miscellaneous tid-bits about the Velvet Thunder operation. To promote close-quarter-combat (CQC) and strategic combat within the AO, dragon's teeth have been placed at all entrances to the hotel to prevent vehicles from entering the immediate vicinity around the hotel. Minefields have also been placed in highly strategic locations, of which some are marked, and some are not. Players will need to apply caution and not run directly into the AO. The default Arma 3 Squad System has been enabled to allow players to divide teams into sniper squads, assault teams, dive teams etc... Player markers on map have been added to help mitigate the chances of friendly fire. @Connor.'s Discord Rich Presence has been enabled as an optional mod for those who would like to show off the mission in style on discord. Thermals, missile launchers, static launchers, stamina, high calibre machine guns, vehicle respawns have all been removed. No matter what you say, they aren't coming back Players may only join the server team of which they play the most hours on average per week. If you play 6 hours a week on AL, and 2 on I&A, you can only play on the AL Team. Ok so i havent been around for the year and a bit if you would like to know why then when im on ts more than welcome to chat. i have jumped on here and there how ever and have been on almost every day the past week and shit dont look to good for a altis life server and a server i thought wanted roleplay more than anything but it seems to be the other way around now its not cops rebel catels civ contracting its bounty hunters rebels rebels and rebels now i know some might hate me and fine no idear what i did or happend for you too but your opinion is yours and mines well mine and i think everyone from staff to people that play just cop and everyone else needs to relize that the server has no where near the amount of bullshit and trolls as there once was well from what ive seen in sydney anyway its pre tame in comparision and that a altis life server is ment to be about roleplay first and formost but as i said before seems to be bounty hunters and rebels i havent really been around but from few people i have spoken to when i would pop in and have a looksie and see if i can get back on the roleplay that you cant play as cartel really because if you roleplayed as corrupt cop and got caught you were black listed and thats just stupid if you going to bring down a punishment like that for roleplaying cop in a certain way that always builds roleplay with a opposing faction is retarted and if you drop that stuff like blacklist(firing) then atleast roleplay it and if you uphold that uphold every officer to every law. ok thats that shit next problem is general roleplay with cops like someone coming to the pd or simple pull overs for some one speeding even 10km/h over it doesnt happen unless the people is wanted its a joke be cops like it aint that hard yes there are trolls and there always will be but some of the best roleplay or fun you can have is from a random pull over or random civ at the gate like it took me 30 minutes to get a cop to confiscate a 9mm suppressor which i picked up to be able to roleplay but it was just o yeah cheers and he put in his bag i just dont get how everyone has let it get to point where you may aswell change the name to faction wasteland. i try my best i have always wanted better for the sever even when i was burnt out and left there are other reason yes and no its not because of some reason some people might think if i didnt care about the server i wouldnt post this for one but i have alot of good memories on the server from rebel when i first joined to playing cop and getting way up there to being admin and helping out with everything at some point if accepted would like to get back to a point i can do all that again but for now im just a player and i feel as a community everyone needs to realize its not just on red lotza mitch or any staff to make shit better its upto everyone. get the roleplay back and cranking again roleplay different things and crazy things and youll probly enjoy it alot more than than ooooo dec quick frag if you dont want to roleplay there are non roleplay servers ps my spelling is shit but youll get the jists

After i spoke my piece. The previous Commissioner Augnov & I went to a feud. and after he posted (Publicly) some very demeaning pictures of me & one of my friends. I got pretty pissed off. & I resigned from the cop force. About a month after that. I came on the Straya teamspeak to see some old mates. whilst talking, Augnov came down & had his picture discriminating against me. I then brought a picture I had defacing him. (Yes i know not the smartest thing to do). after that he blacklisted me. Before i got my picture. I spoke to Internal affairs & staff, regarding the fact that he was running around with a photo defacing me. & made it very clear that I was not okay with it. & nothing was done. But it is a bit unfair that 2 people can commit the same crime whilst only one gets punished. especially when you are punished by the other guy committing the same crime. Why the appeal should be accepted: [50 Words] Although I am in the wrong as well, Im not a bad guy. But this is an unjust situation. and my Intent was not to do anything wrong. I am probably one of the biggest rule followers you can find. I have spent nearly a year not playing cop & now that it is under new Management I want to give it another crack. Hey Everyone, Today I am advising everyone of several changes/additions to the community, across various services which are being rolled out following this post. Changes to our main discord New Categories Upon joining the server users will now get the ARMA3 tag, this allows them to see into all of our ARMA3 categories. (They will be hidden if they don't have a role now.) Users can then remove this role and add themselves to each servers role (e.g '?role Altis Life' to see the AL channels). This is the give users some control over what categories they want to be a part of and which ones they don't. Primary Servers will be setup as an Opt Out system, with additional secondary games/areas of interest setup to be Opt-In. We will keep an updated list of the possible games/roles that have discussion channels in the discord. Currently it is relatively minimal and only includes existing games that we have on the discord, but we are always willing to expand it. If you have any suggestions, let us know. Changes to Some Staff ranks and Responsibilities Discipline, Punishment & Appeals Policy Senior Moderators and Administrators can authorise bans for up to 3 Months, they must acquire approval from the Management team for any ban above 90 days (3 Months). Additionally, Senior Moderators and Administrators can place indefinite bans that are to be reviewed within 1 week of placement by the Management Team. Senior Moderator Senior Moderators are the senior point of contact for ban appeals, and other issues relating to their server. Senior Moderators are responsible for designing and managing server rule-sets and procedures with the guidance of the Server Manager. Senior Moderators are also expected to assist Trial Moderators and help them out in helpdesk. Lastly, Senior Moderators are responsible for dealing with appeals relating to bans placed by other non-management server staff members. Server Administrator Server Administrators are the senior team members for their server and work closely with the manager to discuss and agree on changes to the server. Additionally they work closely with Senior Moderators to ensure that other staff perform to the best of their abilities. Server Administrators are also responsible for the organization and hosting of server events and faction events.
