(Minimum 50 words): I have been wanting to expand my role in the APD while staying GD for a while now. I had also hoped to see this exact option available since I joined the APD. I am a keen pilot and active player and would like to add a specialized role to my repertoire. What do you hope to achieve in as an aviation officer? (Minimum 30 words): My minimum goal would be to train new Polair pilots to a high standard and to expand on existing Polair tactics and procedures. 2 pointsI think a discussion needs to be had about what exactly the priority of the medics is, more than once I have had irritating people spamming comms asking me to medic them when they are 400 meters away in an open field surrounded by enemies and getting angry or abusive when told I am not going to charge up to them. There is a reason in all first aid course you take that the first rule of first aid is always to assess the danger to the first aider. There should be a rule against pressuring medics, they will get to you when they can, you have a 10 minute count down for a reason be patient, clear and secure the area before reviving. I love playing medic it's my primary go to role, but I find myself forgoing this role when the player count is higher for this reason. Possible suggestions to minimize friction between medics and other players. 1. Reduce the distance casualties can see the medic nearby distance. Still allow medics to see casualties up to 500 meters, but maybe reduce the distance for casualties down to 100 meters if possible. 2. Allow casualties to slowly crawl so they can atleast move themselves to nearby cover to assist medics in not getting killed while reviving and give the player something to do while they wait for a revive.

2 pointsPlease keep unrelated chatter out of this thread please. And to clarify about racist remarks, any sort of racial discrimination is against community guidelines, if you would like to report someone for this just go onto teamspeak (ts.straya.life) and join one of the HD channels or create a support ticket in the #support-tickets channel by reacting to the message and following the procedure, remember to have sufficient evidence and name of the player. https://strayagaming.com/topic/16076-community-guidelines/

1 pointSimple suggestion to Integrate the CAS/Pilot queue into the new Role selection menu. They can enter the queue through the role menu and when a slot opens up, it gives them and option to switch to the new slot or giveaway their position in the queue.

1 pointIt's not funny, edgy or cool. Report function on the site isn't working. I've only been on the server for a week yet I see this shit every day. Sick of it, so I'm putting it here. This game is inherently toxic enough as it is, we don't need this stuff.

1 pointI'd like some AI, the Tanoa server had it and quite liked it. But to point out the reason for sitting 2km away from AOs is because the AT from the not building seeing AI have that exact shooting range. Ive been tanking a fair bit so yes its tedious to drive 8km-die- sit 2km get bombed from enemy or friendly CAS rinse and repeat. Also ive seen tank crews quite often but sadly i hate random crews especially those that no joke drive into open fields, not holding specific points of interest major roads etc, a lack of patience and most of all the inability to assist ground troops with pushing objectives. AT from AI denies all of this even with the trophy protection system. I loved Bohammers triple crew the other day held an entire defence on their own with intel from myself as JTAC was really cool to coordinate.

1 pointWelcome, Engineers of StrayaGaming! We have some exciting changes to our Space Engineers server in the pipeline which we cannot wait to share with you. Hi all, Since the full-service launch of our Space Engineers servers late last year, we have been blown away by the creativity, passion and commitment the community has poured into the various game-modes we have offered - it has been truly awe-inspiring. Our journey through the Space Engineers ecosystem has not been without its challenges; persistent simulation issues, server crashes and grid losses have tested our resolve and are likely to remain as ongoing challenges until such time as the game developers can implement some definitive patches and updates. We also acknowledge that in recent months, our playerbase has condensed as a result of these issues in conjunction with shifting player dynamics, and our current server's inaccessibility to new players. Moving forward, we will be modifying our service offering to a minimalistic, modded server to bolster player accessibility without losing the advantages acquired through some of our core mods. The drill/fill, build/repair, radar, hangar market and factional safe zone mods will be retained, allowing us to drastically reduce our mod footprint from 4GB to less than 200MB while also improving server simulation speed. The server will officially switch over on Monday 20/07, with the server to be down from Monday morning until Monday evening. We strongly encourage all engineers to join us over the next week in some final epic battles with the incredible grids you have created. Your feedback greatly assists in defining the direction of our server, and we strongly encourage you to reach out to a staff member if you have any suggestions or concerns. 1 pointMy idea was to do away with the teamspeak channel queue channels all together And have a script manage the queue ingame, It would help simplify the process of joining a queued slot, As well as the need for staff to deal with people who skip the queue.
