9 pointsThis friday i am going to be making a video. in this video we are going to be robbing the bank, having some serious rp negotiations with the cops and then we will be making a daring escape with a epic police chase. even maybe throwing a hostage into the situation? and switching the hostage out for a rebal and getting away scott free. still tossing up a few ideas about the whole ordeal but i want only serious RP in this video only. if you're interested let me know in this thread hopefully with this video we can bring more people to come play on this server. @Spectral @Roger Purple @LuckyB33f @John Paul @Littleblacksheep @brutalforthepizza @TrueBlue @TheMagician

2 pointsThinking of making a video of the daily life as a rebal, civ, cop, medic might throw something intresting into the mess for example a car accident for medic, a bank robbery for rebal. gonna try have some serious role play and hopefully edit it and put it up for you all to view. what do you guys think? any suggestions or if you want to start in my video with regards Alienware

2 points***************************************** Couldn't agree more @Mr. Snow Leopard As Captain of the Altis Police Force I use more Non-Lethal force then i do lethal there are quite a few people who play as other factions that find themselves getting knocked down by myself more so then being killed. Unless we are already going into a fire fight or my back is up against a wall I don't switch to lethal rounds. There are a lot of players that enjoy the RP after being arrested @TrueBlue and His SP boys, @Alienware, @denis and the list goes on. There are a few players that i take into my interrogation chamber from time to time (Depending on the extent of their crimes and associations) and the RP goes a step further. KOS on rebels inside city limits is not always a bad thing but only for the reason that you don't know what their intentions are i.e they could come in and pick on civs just robbing them for cash kidneys and whatever else running around in gillies avoiding thermals picking people off with a sniper rifle and TWS doing this and rolling into ANY city IRL with such heavy gear reason or no reason will get you KOS no questions asked. However i do believe that they should they should be tazed/restrained when they can be caught off guard or if you are in a position to do so while VALUING YOUR OWN LIFE + The lives of the Altis citizens. People often forget that the Police have to protect their own lives + an average of 8-12 other officers and additional to that and average of 40-50 citizens. Even a simple police chase has many flip sides and scenarios depending on who the player is being chased - 1. The player will get out and RP, 2. The player will stop and dome every cop in sight, 3. Cops will be baited past a location and get lit up by associated parties the police then have to try and predict which of these things the player/players will do and act on it, 9/10 times scenario 2 and 3 happen. Also there is the balance of numbers with the exception of off peak times the police are always out numbered and most civs are armed in addition to rebel gangs and cartels. When they go up against 4 pub slots with tazers and are "winning" it's fun and games but then when situations get foiled and the win is not always one sided some people don't like it but as is with all battles not one side always wins. If police went to helpdesk every time someone broke a rule or failed RP players would be spending more time in helpdesk then in game. Instead they cop it on the chin, no comp and play on, bring on the RP from ALL FACTIONS including police side we all want it! that's why we are here. Police incentive is not to always kill because fines and arrests is how they make their money it is just unfortunate that they do not always get the chance to do this because of actions players CHOOSE to make. I feel for the rebels and civs that want to RP with the cops and may not always get the opportunity to do so on the other side also when the police want to RP with rebels they can not because of the never ending cycle mentioned. It's not about taking away lethals or weapons and not about continually changing rules it is about taking ownership for the actions and choices we make in game and understanding that every action has a re-action and results in a consequence of some kind.

2 pointsWe have recently had a look at the inactive gangs and have removed the inactive/disbanded gangs. We currently have no rebel channel and no cartels available. If you are interested in getting a gang you must put a roleplay story of your gang in the gang talks forum which will be linked here. Once posted the post will be reviewed then you will be notified that you can put you donation forward to complete the gang channel creation. Also on a side note any overdue gang channels will be followed up and if not paid will be removed.

I should've probably made this by now and considering my name is now changed it's very due, So it's pretty clear my name is Jake Reddington I'm a Corporal or as it is now called Senior Constable in the Altis Life Cop Force, Honestly Im a pretty bad shot at times and same as sometimes Im a good shot depends Where and When (With A MXM of course) I've been in this community since mid January And haven't stopped playing on the servers since, and yes I can be a bit of a dumb-dumb sometimes ask @Snowwiiee and @Angus. If you wanted to know I play Battlefield 4 and Arma 3 of course with too many hours on Arma (1000+ Hours) You can ask me anything if having troubles if I am about.

1 pointStuff like this, I want to know not only the what but the why, what the point is, and how they think it will play out. As long as noone thinks the President controls the Police, or has any say in Criminal punishments, or can pardon people. What does the President even do? Whats the point? As far as "inside RP" who is voting for Rebels, or Rebel/Cops? The President would ideally be, inside RP, a Civ that is a little shady, maybe, but a full blown Rebel? Nah. Out of RP the President would be a non Staff, non Rebel, non Medic, non Cop. Impartial and have an actual function. Outside of any of this its just a meaningless popularity vote with no real platform, issues or the biggest RPers on the Server involved at all.

1 pointThere will always be this "Fight" because rebel gear is twice as much as cops is and whenever they die of course they will try get comp for 500k Worth of gear who wouldn't, But we have now semi started the taser rifle out and lethal away I believe so hopefully that starts the roleplay and as for the rebels always complaining they are rebels (Illegal People) Why wouldn't we shoot them if they are gonna shoot us or our civilians.

1 pointI believe putting a General Store at Agios Loannis (that town about 50m away from LZ Connor), would be far too close to the South Gun Store, giving those who occupy it a fairly large advantage. Same with 'Ol Jay' (I'm assuming you were meaning Jay Cove?). Girna is a reasonable but fair distance away, thus making it a good location for the General Store. The reason I'd say no to LZ Connor and allow Rogain to be as close to a General Store as it is, is because having that one "Overpowered" location gives the entire server a key position to fight for. It's like a hot spot for attacks and getting royally nuked by my DAR rockets.

1 pointPlease do not post negative or pointless comments. So, Cartel, a niche lifestyle. For me it seems like it would have an appeal to organised and social players, it opposes the Rebels, plenty of scope for gunfights, good earning potential if you Police your fields. In the edit of the rules Cartel gets some new abilities, powers they can invoke in dealing with Police. This can be brought forward and discussed. Due to either lack of planning or flat out abuse of the trust of players/staff and rule breaking a gap exists for a strong cartel to emerge. To this end I am recruiting. This new cartel will be a side project, I will not be in it but it will have my attention. I will be looking for small gangs or social lone wolfs keen for a group to play in. Its time to get the RP and play that Cartel allies and is designed for up and running. I won't be dictating actions of intruding but I will be helping and liaising in my Admin and Police roles, holding each seperate. Cartel Control drug field. Repel attackers/thieves. Tax people. Run drugs yourself. Cant rob bank/fed but can respond. If fed stopped they "reclaim" the gold. Good ability to counter Rebels and be tactical. Lots of action. Patrolling, ambushing, gathering Intel, RP as ruthless. Great RP. If played well can get wealthy. Cartel gang base lays unused. Can be given over to new cartel as incentive. So if this sound like the life for you or your gang/group and you feel like you want to get involved then post below or message me. Leadership of the group will lead it, not me, and it will not be interfered with. We need a strong cartel to help the server. Let me know or ask questions below. -Spec
