    Hello, as some of you may know I put up a suggestion a month or 2 a go asking who would want a Kos Zone Gun Store [https://strayagaming.com.au/forums/topic/10175-kos-zone-guns/] this got a lot of votes saying yes. 75 people said yes, this server has a cap of 150 players, that is half the server wanting The Gun Store. I am very intrigued on why this would not be added as a lot of the community and admins/moderators wants it. I did hear from someone In the staff team that it was being worked on then where told to stop working on it. I really am interested in whoever denied it and am curious on why you would ignore the community as it obviously something that want to be added.     So Those that read the news feed on the launcher may have seen this, but in addition to sensor changes there is another noteworthy change with the upcoming jets DLC DYNAMIC LOADOUTS As you read it, your probably thinking the same thing i am, GOODBYE YOU USELESS ATGMS, AND HELLO MOAR BOMBS AND ROCKETS HELLO CAP NEOPHRON

    I'm loving some of the suggestions in this thread. Some really positive (and really shit) suggestions. how about this, keep jets and mortars but simply remove the red and green markers for the gun stores on the map? if you're in a gun store we'll keep the enemy entered the area message but on the map it will just look like a vacant gun store The intent would be that the pilots and mortar spammers can still have their fun but they need intel from other players where the enemy is and not rely on map colours

    Hey Everyone! The longer we are here, the bigger we get. we are at 6,000 members, that's crazy and awesome. i remember reaching 3,000 members, April 2016, and now 10 months later, we have doubled, that's just insane, Thank you everyone for your support of StrayaGaming, and making it your home for so long.     Hahaha yeah choppers are useless vs a lot of AA to the point of being comical, I tend to find the only time CAS is effective/long lived is when players dont buy AA, or if you have an exceptional pilot like @FBI or one of the other skilled pilots on the server!, but no matter how good you are 2-3 similtaneous AA WILL kill a heli almost regardless of the flaring skill of the pilot. As for @YA_MUM's idea i think that is an ideal compromise, it punishes intel lacking teams and means human driven logistics (be it boots on the ground or drones) is needed for CAS and mortars to be effective without needing a direct nerf to their offensive capabilities in the hands of a skilled pilot, it also stops the stupid "chase the other team across the server and wipe them before they gear" that leads to rage quitting and one team being depopulated due to the other team chain killing them any time they go near a gunstore, overall IMO its a badically ideal change in terms of improving server health while not punishing teams simply playing well, it also removes the strange notion of the game passively giving you enemy positions which i've never really liked

    I've mentioned it before on ts, but would it be possible to give helis the same healing powers as a taru pod / medical HEMMT? It would give infantry the chance to call for a medivac and heal up themselves / someone dead when near the chopper What do you reckon?

The headless client is designed to take stress off the server by doing things the server would normally do (eg: database queries). Our hope is this will improve server performance and maybe even stop the server from freezing. Please keep in mind this updates is released as a trial, so there may be a mistake here or there. What is most important during this trial is how the server performs now that there is a weight off its shoulders. Report all bugs via the in game bug tracker.     I would like to clarify that OSG was placed (on creation) a one week trial. OSG is working well and is here to stay. If anyone has any suggestions or things they think would work let myself or orgog know and we'll get back to you asap. In relation to the other points made I do not have a definitive answer, however, I will get back to everyone. Let's keep this a discussion, if anyone has anyone has any suggestions please direct them to an appropriate thread or create another thread.

    @Mokkay Hey brother, Sorry that we couldn't contact you, most of the time as moderators/admins our issues come from our helpdesk channels in teamspeak and not in game. So much so that when most people ask stuff over side, to an admin, another player or support team member will respond most of the time. We do try to get in game as much as possible but as i said most of the time is spent outta game dealing with stuff on teamspeak. At this point in time we are trying to get Admininstrators and moderators to moderate from inside the game, but its hard to organise all of that. Sorry for any issues or problems this may have caused you and we will try to make it so we have people in game that can respond to your needs. Kind Regards Axle_Tiaky

    People don't reliase how easy it is to kill a chopper, the way i was flying over that gunstore a rocket from sub 100m is very hard to dodge. If more people have aa's and stay away from gunstores after they're done purchasing what they need it they will most likely be able to hide until a armed heli flys over and they can kill it with aa and then simply go back into the store.

    I'd like to congratulate all of the staff and members at StrayaGaming on the success of this community, and for reaching 6000 members only 10 months after being half that amount. That's amazing growth! I, and many other community members I'm sure, would not be here without the effort and dedication that the StrayaGaming staff put into the game servers and the community itself. I personally have seen more than one gaming community fall apart and stagnate because of apathy within the community, and StrayaGaming is the polar opposite of that situation. Community members are engaged, staff are friendly, fair and welcoming, and the game servers/forums/Teamspeak are all well-structured and thought out in their management. Otherwise the community would have experienced numerous issues due to this rapid growth. Everyone who has contributed to StrayaGaming should be proud of what it has become. Congratulations, ya magnificent bastards!

    Update 9 In the event of any catastrophic errors or problems on initial release, we may revert back to the previous settings while we make appropriate changes Development Added - Sniper Nest Mission Added - Extra buildings to Jay Cove Added - Auscam texture Added - New reward crate Tweak - Corpse removal* Tweak - Various dialogs Tweak - Various diary entries Tweak - Main configuration* Moved - Various ATM's Moved - north cove buildings Moved - Various objects in central Stratis Moved - Central vehicle store back to air-station mike Moved - Central gunstore to kamino bay Moved - Kamino Bay vehicle Store into compound near lighthouse Deleted - Numerous entities around map Extra Details Corpse removal timer In previous builds, bodies of the dead hung around for around 30 minutes before being automatically deleted. This setting has now been modified down to a mere 6 minutes. While this will help the effort to combat one of many FPS issues, it also means that you have an extra reason to plan your attacks and defences. Reason being, if you die, your now less likely to get back to your gear in time. Main Configuration Just as a warning, we will be testing a new configuration file. If successful, the server will go on as normal, else we will manually shut the server down while we roll back to the old file. PS The jets and helicopters that were removed will be put back into the game early march

    Unless those few skilled players get enough money to start spamming them. Much alike the drone spam that's happening right now. I don't think they should be priced low if they can destroy an entire team over and over and then be spammed on top of that.

    Why hello! I guess i can say I'm the acting CEO of AInc, my name is Sam and i have something to put to you all. Now this subject will interest some people I'm sure. I know we made a discussion some time ago of us coming back but that fell through. This time though, i have a feeling that we have the potential to come back (and hopefully to the fighting capacity of what we once were). I am aware that there are a lot of new players, also groups/gangs on the server that probably have no idea who AInc is. SO! Who are we exactly? I'm probably not the best person to explain it to you all, but i will to my best. On second thought, i'll just grab a comment made by a former squad leader of AInc KennyBoos post about this some time ago. "Acquisitions Incorporated started off as a Logistics Company. We are simply just a group of honest, hardworking people taking on honest jobs such as the mining of salt, glass and diamond. These jobs or operations involve the use of very huge and expensive assets. Being a big and I would say well-off group, we were often targets for local rebels to make a quick buck. As such, we would hire external contractors to provide private security for us. However, due to the fact that they were external, most of the time, these contractors proved inefficient and we would end up losing our assets, and the company was make huge losses. As a countermeasure to our losses, our CEO - Stalker, together with the team managers sat down, discussed and decided to start up a Security Division. The Security Division comprised of AInc's best men. They were well-trained, well-disciplined and well-respected. Initially, the security division was only meant for company operations. But soon after, Altians started to see the increasing presence of AInc's large convoys moving freely within Altis, together with it's Security Division as rebels and thieves feared coming back out on the streets. From then on, AInc's Security Division started getting calls from other company's and at times even the Altian Government." - KennyBoo I hope that gives you a little bit of sight into what we were. If not i'll add my own quick two cents to this. AInc is a Civilian Contractor group that in a whole; its aim is to stem the tide of rebel activity and make Altis safe once again, to help new players have a strong footing in their start and make it an enjoyable place for them to be. I'll be pushing for AInc to go for a more Role-Play style of gameplay rather than the usual - "ayyyyy i see a rebel he's dead". By writing this post this is by no means a 100% "yes we're coming back" but its more of a "hello, is it me you're looking for"...not really but you get the point. It's to see if the Admins/Moderators/Police Force/Cartels/Rebel Gangs/Regular Civs would like us to make a return. To the new players - who haven't seen AInc in action, hopefully one day you might get to see AInc back in its old glory. If you have any questions just jump on down to the Acquisitions Incorporated Channel in the Civilian Contractors section in teamspeak and if I'm there just hit me up, i'll be more than happy to have a chat and get to know you and answer any questions you have for me. To the old players - Don't worry we wont be doing any security checks for some time, as much as i enjoy them. My aim is to see where you are all at, and to see how we will fit in with the few players that i remember. Would you like to see that happen? I have noticed that there have been some new Civilian Contractor groups popping up which is great to see! But heed my warning; AInc will set the bar once again on how Civilian Contractors are to operate. This is not a stab at anyone, I'm just warning you, this will happen. SO! Here we are at the end of my little speech. If you've made it this far i thank you.
