    I've recently been playing on Strayagaming Altis Life again. A lot of what I might say could be biased or misinformed due to my lack of game time in recent months or due to my affiliation with rebel gangs. These suggestions have taken inspirations from other servers so I'm not claiming credit for the entire suggestion. I do understand that these suggestions might be unrealistic to development due to a lack of a dedicated developer but this is just something to think about over time, maybe one or two suggestions might be implemented. There's a lack of rebel gangs on the server with AoW being the dominant gang and Sequel being close behind. There's a bunch of smaller gangs with a few people together but apart from that there's not much going on. There needs to be some sort of incentive for those little gangs to group up and form a bigger gang because right now the combat from my perspective is between cops, Sequel, or a few random rebels. Instead of having this forced gang war where you had to arrange a fight, why not have an application to apply for a gang base and give it out to every active gang with benefits tweaked and a proper terms and condition of maintaining the gang base. The gang menu should also be changed to compliment the gang base changes. These suggestion will benefit current and new gangs in the server as well as provide some more activities for police. Gang Menu Changes The current gang menu is outdated and is need of updating. A hierarchy system would be useful in managing certain aspects of the gang while in game. Would also be great if things like gang bases could be done without the need of whitelisting by a staff member and shift it towards being a permanent member of the gang. Gang Founder: Invite/Promote/Kick members Full access to Gang Base Gang Leader: Invite/Kick Members Full Access to Gang Base Gang Member: Temporarily invite a member to the gang, will expire upon aborting to lobby. Limited access to Gang Base Temporary Members: No access to gang base Design of the Gang Base: I'm not great with map editing or have knowledge on the limitations of the server's mission file but I'll leave the guidelines to the more qualified people. The gang bases should be designed by a member of the gang unless a member of the staff team is willing to design a gang base for them. Maybe even have a default gang base to work from if a design can't be made. Benefits of the Gang Base: The ability to spawn at the location once an hour (to prevent soft logging and spawning there for certain benefits listed below) Rebel, Cartel, or Contractor market, clothing, weapon, and vehicle shop. Gang Shed/Warehouse that holds a large amount of virtual and physical items. Gang Vault (essentially gang funds). Gang Shed: Very high amount of storage compared to houses. Allowing gangs to store gear and items to share among the whole gang. The shed has to unlocked by a Gang Leader/Founder either via an updated gang menu or windows key at the shed. Can be raided by the police if they have a valid warrant on at least 3 members or the gang founder. Gang Vault: Gang members can store money in the vault to share around with other members. Capture zones can periodically add money into the vault. Maybe some sort of taxation system where a small percentage of money gets added to the vault 50% of money from Westpac could get added to the vault. The vault can be raided by the police once a day or once every three hours for different gangs. Cooldown would be included with Westpac/Fed/AGL to prevent multiple major crimes happening at once. Every cop online would get money if successful (something like 250-500k per person). Terms and Conditions: Gang Activity: 15 Registered Gang Members Activity Quota (something like 50 hours combined from all gang members in a week) Actively contributing in the forums either in discussions, videos, or suggestions. Active in Teamspeak (Most gangs use their own discord/teamspeak, encouraging gangs to use their official gang channels could be a good thing) Gang Behaviour: No Toxicity in any of StrayaGaming's services. Following the rules, avoid getting watchlisted/banned. Avoid Excessive Shit Talking of other Gangs or towards the Police Force. (Excessive because one line shit talks could be interpreted as friendly banter) Three strike system. Gang leadership will be held accountable for the actions of their members. If a member is constantly breaking the rules or being toxic without being punished by leadership, their gang base is at risk. For the gang base to be maintained, the leaders would have to remove any excessive rule breakers/toxic players to be safe. Final Statement: The server is a combat server. There's multiple opportunities for rebel vs rebel combat but when there's a lack of rebel gangs, there's not much to do other than to pester the Police with Westpac or other major crimes. This is the only Altis Life server in the region that is more skill based than weapon/vehicle based which is why some people enjoy it more than the other server. My opinion is that the server direction should be leaning towards improving rebel vs rebel first, then slowly overtime overpower the cops so it's actually a challenge to take Westpac or Fed. Rebels don't need to win all the Westpacs and Fed if they have a decent combat experience to rely on elsewhere like rebel vs rebel. The reward from Westpac isn't worth much, and if the server reaches a point where the cop force is dominating, the reward should be significantly increased.

    Proposed idea: Have the timescale set as a constant rather than fast at night, slower at dawn/dusk, and normal at day. The idea behind this would be you get a better day/night cycle and one whole cycle might take say, 1 whole restart; 6hrs irl time corresponding to 24hrs in game time. There's less people that complain about night and it's really fun for all aspects.

    Would like to get your guys thoughts on possibly implementing a Malden Monday, where each Monday the Malden I&A would be run on the Tanoa Server from 6pm till 12am. This is in response to player requests and suggestions that there needed to be more variety in the I&A maps. We have loaded the Malden I&A on the Tanoa Server Yesterday at the 6pm restart for 24 hrs until the 6pm restart today the 12th Jan for you guys to jump on and have a go. Earlier on in the night we peaked around the 37 players mark who were suprised upon logging in with the phrase of the night being "This is not Tanoa" once over the shock I believe everybody had a great time. It also offers an alternative for those players who currently do not own the APEX DLC as Malden was a free vanilla DLC. Feel free to post you thoughts, comments and/or any suggestions.

    Yeah the whole maintaining a gang base would have to be done manually by the staff team to determine if a gang is active enough and their behaviour standards is decent enough to keep the base.

    I don’t think @Michael Steiner meant any harm with this post. It was just posted at a really really bad time. +1 meme. Alot of little things bottled over between factions as of late, At the end of the day this is a video game, Everyone needs to be enjoying it, We might be rebels and cops ingame, But outside of it were all apart of the same community. Leave the ingame beef in the game and work together outside of it to better the server for both factions.

    Something I think could help out alot and remove confusion is upon creating a gang aswell as selecting a name for your gang you also select a tag, when a player joins that gang the tag auto applies to them infront of the name, This could also allow gang leaders/founders to pick a colour for there tag so [SP] Excel to [SP] Excel just for a little bit more fun. Regarding this, Server staff could develop certain gang base designs maybe like 3-5 options for gangs to choose from. Some designs may be big bases with many features that would cost more $$$ however there could also be smaller options that cost less $$$, It all comes down to what the gang is interested in. Gang owners can then upgrade/downgrade or even change design of there base for a cost. I feel as If there could be issues with a communal storage so with the ranks in the gang as you mentioned you could do It so the storage is private and everyone is allocated a certain ammount. A gang leader would have more storage space than a member of the gang maybe like that? However when being raided by cops all items would show in the inventory. Thoughts?

    Veritably false. Jets have far greater kill chain completion times and poorer OODA loop management. Phase Fixed Wing Rotary Find Radar / EOTS / TGP / IRST Radar unreliable with detection because ARMA 3 and really good reasons. Soda straw aperture flying over a small area at high speed without any thermal imaging. Radar / EOTS /IRST Wide FOV, gunner can simultaneously look through a thermal imager and refer to radar screen. Fix Painfully cycle with assigned key while trying to actually fly the jet whilst attempting to avoid possible AA fire. Gunner selects target, pilot hovers comfortably (division of labor is fantastic isn't it). Track Correlating position on subsequent passes until strike authorized, an annoying matter itself w/o TrackIR and all jets notwithstanding the F/A-181 need to see the projections through a HUD not an HMD. Target tracked, gunner may keep camera locked if necessary. Allows simultaneous multiple target monitoring and position correlation. Engage Hard targets necessitate lase, infantry ones are typically just terrible. Reliance on a decent UAV Operator for a reliable lase. SDB onboard targeting is iffy at best on the server because ARMA 3 and really good reasons. Pain in the arse follow up capability as major time lag is necessarily incurred when next pass needs to be initiated which requires good spacing and high energy. Paradoxically, if one wants to maintain high energy for AA avoidance this reduces the window of opportunity in terms of completing yet another (partial) kill chain. Difficult to assess prudence of danger close occurrences. Multi - mode tracking missiles, either SACLOS or thermal imaging. Kill chain completed within helicopter without external interference or assistance. Incredible effectiveness with follow up engagements as time lag is present only due to limitations of gunner awareness and speed of weapon cycling and follow up firing. Infantry eradication easy owing to a stationary position and cannon. Easy to assess prudence of danger close occurrences. So, rotary CAS completes kill chains faster, independently, and the division of labor means OODA loop chains are finished with higher speed, even if one acts under the assumption of an (impossibly) perfectly coordinated UAV Operator and CAS pilot. Avoidance of AA with helicopters is not a complex matter, it's simply a few klicks of standoff. Of course this comparison acts under the assumption of no enemy CAS jets as a fair test. Exclusive rotary CAS without the removal of enemy jets is a lousy prospect for obvious reasons. Rotary CAS is a good idea, it's far more engaging, less boring, and one can have tea while waiting without having to touch the actual stick.

    I can't comment on other things, but this is the biggest joke I have ever seen... The only credible staff abuse of powers & abilities was from some individuals looking to 'leave with a bang' (E.g. giving themselves a big comp payout or nazi-fying database before quitting) or the Wasteland conundrum. The rest of the complaints were either from individuals who wanted to lash back out at the staff, or were so pissed off that they were stopped from breaking the rules that they managed to type out one sentence saying 'this person yelled at me' without a braincell left. But seriously, while I was staff, there was surprisingly little actual abuse. It was sadly a bit boring imo... I would have preferred more ?

    +1 on this. but add more. I honestly also would add that the Rank of Snr Sgt+ or Division on the police cannot be any higher than Gang member, do there Proticals that have been place on to them
