Hey, I'm SkittlezAus, I'm fairly new to Arma 3 as I only got it last Friday, I've been playing it all week and having fun with a few mates, I'm slowly getting the way of the game and I'm looking forward to becoming more fond to the server/s. A little about me I'm a 14 year old no life that tends to waste majority of his time playing games, I've recently got the game Arma 3 and enjoying the hell out of it, I'm an moderator for another community that is based on GMOD, I'm probably going to end up resigning there and going Arma full time I tend to be on the TS3 server chilling with other people, sometimes mates. I also work so uh.. I'm probably going to throw all my money at this server...

I haven't played enough as a civilian or a rebel so my opinions might be wrong. From my time in the server, the majority of combat situations involving large groups happens between cops and rebels. There have been a few, but I haven't seen many rebel vs rebel. This KOS zone gun store could work similar with how cops defends bank, but instead it's rebels defending their "bank". The gunstore should act similar to a gang hideout where you have to take control of it before using it. When the capturing is initiated, it should send a global alert to all factions, as well as another global alert when it has been fully captured. It should also require a minimum (preferably 60 players) to be online before being active. There should be no atm/houses within a large radius around the store so people will risk a lot going in and out. As for the "roleplay" excuse. I honestly think that this will improve roleplay. Rebels are always fighting cops. Introducing the gun store will create more conflict between rebels and cartels rather than having rebels vs cops all the time. The gunstore could also work in a similar fashion as how cartels deal with drug fields where they tax people use it. Just a quick roleplay scenario (these scenarios are completely fictitious and is not meant to insult any gang): Another scenario from a Cartel's perspective Just to summarise my suggestions: Minimum 60 players Global alert when initiating the capturing of the area. Global alert when fully captured the area. No houses/atm within a large radius from the store. These suggestions won't make getting guns easier. It's a high risk, high reward. This will also put less stress on the cops having to go against everyone else in the server and will create more rebel vs rebel/cartel scenarios. There's one important question that needs to be answered: Are the police allowed to interfere with the blackmarket?

I have been in Japan for the last 2 weeks. Home tomorrow, I put a lot of thought into these things so replies aren't instant. That as well as being overseas can delay thing significantly.

Hi, I'm Jack Rook. I'm not going to say that I'm new to StrayaGaming, but I'm definitely new to these forums. I believe some of you (very little) may already know me, my steam ID is Questionable, formally known as Grimes. I've recently turned 16, and am still lonely, I think that's because I spend my time one ArmA and other games. I enjoy StrayaGaming a lot, and my favorite server would have to be Invade and Annex, followed closely by Altis Life. That's it, I look forward to seeing you all, new and familiar faces.

Every update brings in new optimizations. You can get some of those optimizations long before the next stable release if you keep up with dwardens perf binary thread on the BI forums. The game is far more optimized now than it was on release, but 64bit obviously hasn't been seen as a worthwhile way to spend their time up till mid-late last year.

you patch 1 bug 2 more take its place. they didnt go 64bit coz they thought that most people do not run 64bit machines. this is obviously different now. they were more focused on bringing out DLC content to improve their game. while they were optimizing it. 64 bit wasnt a priority. as the game ran fine for what they wanted

    They have spent months putting together a 64bit executable... to me that's a pretty big jump? My specs and settings: i7 6700k @ 4.0GHz, 16GB ram, GTX 970 https://puu.sh/uli4J/0160326476.jpg https://puu.sh/uli2F/2330f99b46.jpg https://puu.sh/ulhZo/f9fd5148ac.jpg

You say you want RolePlay, right? So, SRT means you get 3 lives, is that RolePlay? You hit a FED and when they die they head to Gold Bars Buyers, is that RolePlay? Would it then hurt the 'RolePlay' if we had access to Higher caliber weapons than 7.62mm. It doesn't make sense, you can't allow cops to fail 'RolePlay' with SRT 3 lives and then not allow us to not have access to higher than 7.62mm caliber because you believe you want 'RolePlay'. In my opinion cops have 3 lives for SRT isn't really 'RolePlay'. Giving rebels access to higher than 7.62mm weapons IS 'RolePlay' as in the REAL world you would be able to buy it on the black market. If you're not gonna give rebels access to weapons other than 7.62mm which you deem 'no RolePlay', how it SRT 3 lives 'RolePlay' ?? Explain?

Would have to be @Thug Angel This bloke knows how to role-play, he's a beast of a driver, good shot and doesn't **** around with rebels. He may have been a bit trigger happy, but that's because when he was a police officer, the streets were filled with so much crime, he felt unsafe, as we all did.
