    Wasteland 1.3b Version 1.0.0 UPDATE In the event of any catastrophic errors or problems on initial release, we may revert back to the previous version.     How to link your forum profile to your Steam account. Here I am going to write out the steps on how to link your Steam account to your profile for a comprehensive view of your Steam statistics and gametime etc. Step 1: Click on your forum name at the top right of your screen: Step 2: Click Account settings. Step 3: Click on edit profile. Step 4: Convert your steam profile link into a SteamID64 number via this converter, https://steamid.io/. Step 5: Paste that number into the SteamID: section. Step 6: Head back to your forum profile and click Steam Profile. Step 7: Click validate. Step 8: Enjoy your new linked profile!

    Those of you who frequently play Altis Life will know the server is in no way stable. We have struggled for too long trying to fix all possible causes of the instability, so have decided to take a different approach. We are going to run previous versions of the mission file on the server until we can find our last stable build, then put the current mission back up (v5.9.1484) while we take a hard look at what changed. This does mean for a short period of time the server will be lacking features, and others may partially work, or not work at all (eg: gangs, wanted list). Also due to various changes we have made to the database over time some older features may cause data to become unusable by the server, so while the server is running older builds a temporary database will be used. This database will save changes as you would expect, but when we return to the main build we will return to the main database, therefore any progress made on the temp database will be lost (without an option for compensation). We will do what we can to find the last stable build as quickly as possible and return the server to the most up to date build. We had hoped to avoid this path but as time passes by the urgency for a resolution grows & this may be the fastest path to one. Tests will start over the coming days, you will know if the server is running an old build as the server name will say the version followed by 'r' (eg: "v5.0r"). Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

    FAQ How long will the server be running old missions? It will be on and off over the next few days at least, we would like to keep time on the old missions as brief as possible. This is a visual representation of how this testing phase is going to go: Note: the server will go back to current build during the day as we can't properly test stability during off-peak time. Why have I lost... (money/vehicles/gear/etc)? To ensure we don't corrupt any data, all old builds will run off a temporary database which is using data saved at 9/10pm last night (18/04/2017). The server will still use the main database when running the current build, so any progress made after that point is not lost. What is the point in playing if none of my progress will save? Use this time to take risks and do things you wouldn't normally do, have a bit more fun than usual. Plus you would be helping us finish these tests sooner. Why should I play while the server is running an old build? We need as many people as possible playing to finish these tests quickly. We cannot test mission stability on the development server as the cause of the crashes is not known and therefore we don't know how to reproduce them. As frustrating as it is we have to run these tests on the main server because it will ensure the tests are run under normal conditions and therefore will definitely prove what our last stable build is. Can you add new features to the old builds to make it easier? No. The entire purpose behind running old builds is to find out where along our development timeline we messed up. If we add newer features to the old builds we are not testing old builds at all, and therefore wasting everyone's time. How do I know if the server is on an old build? There will be an r at the end of the version in the server name (eg: v5.0r) and when you load in there is a pop up stating that old build tests are in progress. How will this help you stop server crashes? If we can find the last stable build, we can look at what changed after it. By knowing exactly where we went wrong, we can reverse it in our current build and hopefully stop the crashes. How is this better than what you were doing before? What we were doing before obviously wasn't working. Our original approach was to try and fix/improve anything that had potential to be the cause. This new approach is about finding the point in time where we went wrong and looking at those changes specifically, thus narrowing down all possible causes & being able to see exactly what changed in the code. Have the rules changed too? No. I'll add to this post if more questions are asked.

    18/04/17 Changes: Your previous loadout for each slot is now automatically loaded when you join the server. Should hopefully allow you to head straight to the AO without having to fiddle around with the arsenal. Respawning also reapplies your loadout instead of just filling up your current magazines when you die. Removed Mortar Boat and Taru Medevac Pod side mission rewards. These will be replaced with something else soon. Extra check to remove inactive recruitable AI that get stuck near base. Small changes to Robocop. Some small fixes/tweaks.

    - Hotfix 16/11/2015 - Added two small cargo towers to the brisbane bank and one on the brisbane side of the bridge. - Added back the second office building at the brisbane bank. - Changed Wanted+ so only Sergeants+ can use it instead of anybody. - Fixed the Brisbane side large cargo tower so the stairs aren't so high. - Fixed the Brisbane Police Helicopter garage so that it's close enough to store your vehicle. - Fixed the airfield Air Shop Garage so vehicles actually spawn on the airfield - Changed the whole of Sydney Hospital to a safezone. - Changed the brisbane bank so the walls are penetrable and the glass can be broken in the office buildings. - Removed the Glitched Cop Slot that would not show a hexagon. [Bigger updates will be coming, this is just a small hotfix to fix some small issues and add a few little things]

    During the police meeting, it appeared that there have been a few misunderstanding regarding the Court System and Warrants. Warrants must be obtained prior to conducting a house raid, unless officers have immediate probable cause to search that house. They can only be given out by a Judge or Commissioner (Found in the Judge Lounge channel list, in the Judicial Government Section) NOT MEDICS!!! Evidence Required: This announcement is here to educate everyone on what can and can not be done through a warrant. To receive a warrant for a raid, officers must show beyond a reasonable doubt, that what they are looking for is in that house (if a warrant is issued, all houses are affected). This could include witness accounts, digital evidence, or forensic evidence placing you at the scene (e.g. you did a successful fed, none of your members died or got caught, but officers saw you in the kill log - this is where they can roleplay 'DNA'/ballistics etc.) If you have been arrested with the gear used in a crime, there is a reasonable doubt about further gear inside your house, and thus a warrant would not be issued. Regulations regarding the execution of a Warrant: Police must announce to the person under the warrant that they are executing a warrant (E.g. If they are not at the house, they must establish phone contact first). They must state that they have a warrant, and what the allowances of the warrant are prior to enacting the warrant. Failure of the officers to declare this will lead to illegal searches, and the warrant becoming null and void as its conditions are breached. On the other hand, failing to allow law enforcement to execute a legal warrant will result in greater powers awarded to officers, such as permitting officers to issue fines, arrest you, use force, or seize all items (even legal items). [Out of RP: The Alits Courts wants fairness for all. It wants to prevent officers being able to raid any house they please, but it also wants to prevent notorious criminals from escaping justice where officers do not have immediate probable cause.
