Hey All, As many of you are already aware, we have been planning an economy wipe and server rebalance for quite a while now. We are very near to completion and as such can also confirm the date in which this will be taking place. The Wipe is set to be taking place on the 6/10/18 7/10/18 at the 3PM Restart. Along with the wipe, you will be able to see a complete restructure of the economy and map, which is also hiding the groundwork for a number of improvements and features that we have set to come out in the following months. As Red mentioned in his previous post, players with bans of less than 2 months can appeal for clemency through a ban appeal in the support section. These appeals will only be accepted if the banned player can show that they understand what they have done, and are able to explain what they will do differently if faced with the same situation in the future. Lastly, we are working on a formal way for the community to vote on the content and changes they want to see on the server. Currently there isn’t too much information available as it is still in talks between management and the project leaders, however, I’ll keep you guys updated as things progress. FAQ: What does the wipe entail? We will be completely resetting the servers economy; property, vehicles, money, gear is going to be removed and changed to a standard value. We will not be making any changes to the ranks of the Police or EMS. What of all my current money and items? Over the following two weeks, AL staff will be organizing and running events to give you an outlet to spend all your hard earned money in a “productive manner’. Will I keep my gang bases? No. Gang bases are going to be reset.

I would assume that staff know about the imbalance. I would also assume that they want to keep player numbers, or they wont have a place to be biased at, because there would be no players to be biased against If staff truly were completely biased for the cops, they would want the cops to be able to play against rebels and not suck each other off in GD watching pubslots. Mauling all rebels during the restart would make cops worse off. Anyhow, in my 'expert' opinion, I will just guess that certain staff are taking precautions around this matter.

Or players could work cooperatively to acquire resources... ?

Hey All, As you will all know, the judicial system and the laws have seen very little light and work over the past months. In these past few months, the system has become very unused and almost to the point its non-existent. There have been a few times that it has been attempted to be revived and reworked, but unfortunately it again took a backseat to some of the other work going on. We have recently finished work on part of the project that will be going into the Judicial and legal system, this being the Altis Life Laws. The laws will be a part of the judicial system and will be an outline of the behavior that may be deemed as illegal by the courts, note that this is independent to the police ticketing system. Invictiis and the rest of the group have tried, we told James directly, we told him on the forums (AKA invictiis does it), And i personally think that Wasteland is going to die if it doesn't get the love it use to get. Wasteland use to be so good... We didn't have as much problems as we do now for example: Verona's. (Major Major Problem - Thermals, Price and Accessibility from crates) Combat-Logging with 100k while people are assaulting your area. (Major Problem) Team-Balancing. (Major Problem - Stack-for) Token's. (Problem - Basically Useless... Etc.) Server performance. (Semi-serious problem - The server has a lot of frame drops, NOT MY PC.) Adding rules for global chat. (Major problem - Trust me, That channel should be made for in-game access to admin's only.) Wipe probably needed. (Due to Combat-Logging Past duping in case it has been sent to other players etc...) USS FREEDOM. (Uncomfortable - Should probably be put further away from land, so that it looks nicer and gives the effect that it's an actual Aircraft-carrier Assaulting Straits) Salt. (Major Problem - PEOPLE GOTTA EAT LESS SALT ON THEIR DAMN CHIPS) Etc.... ( There are a few more) I personally think that wasteland should be receiving love as it hasn't received love for awhile now. @Invictiis @James32 and everyone else... I guess

Fair point, but I think it'll be good for the rebel climate. Hopefully some of the more active gangs take the bases.
