AINC DC GS The Bois oo(Infinity) some randoms - over all 20 players from 6+ groups all being friendly , no decs , no kill onsite even within KOS - Agreed between players - less than 20 players on .. early morning ... make money ... RP and HOSTILE RP can be done later. AINC had 2 players running overwatch .... and everyone assisted when one guy decided to "Breach The Peace". 3 bullets later .... and Sam the infamous carrier of tracey (CoT) fragged another kill. 2+ hours of peace time. Didnt think to take screen shots earlier ... but we had i think .... 2 vtols on ground , 5 hurons ..... 1 vtol in air waiting on space ..... 2 hurons in air waiting on space At the peak of the peace time ? So when i read forum posts like " This is dead " .. or " Problems with the server " .... i like to remind people that moments like this happen to . Peace out and happy hunting ?

I was going to post this as a reply, but the thread was deleted Have a look through the following graphs, all of which were taken of the top AUSTRALIAN (This bit is important) servers. Sadly there does not seem to be many outside of Strayagaming and Darkside... https://imgur.com/a/rTk1stt What you will see is a decline for ALL of the Servers. Most of the 'Time Played' and 'Unique & First time players' show the almost exact same decline (with the exception of one). It is therefore very unlikely that the decrease is solely due to 'the wipe', 'the update' or anything else you can throw in there. There is a clear drop across australian servers which suggest that something outside of any of our servers is impacting these numbers. Such as, exams for example. So please, dont just scream 'X is ruining the playerbase with Y actions'. What do we do? Write a petition to the Australian Parliament that exams need to be abolished because it impacts player numbers.

Why the appeal should be accepted: [50 Words] I was blacklisted for a non cop related issue and this is just unfair, I would totally understand If I broke the police rules or the server rules but I haven't and never did. This disciplinary action was unnecessary. I’m not a bad cop but I will say I have been a bad civilian. Any other information: I waited in the command channel for hours and after talking to some high ranking police members, I was helped they eventually removed the blacklist and the problem was solved, I was able to play cop again and I did occasionally just play as a peaceful pub slot until recently, I went to play after not playing for months I was gearing up to stop a bank Robbery, until I was moved out of channel by Big Kev and told that he would be reinstating the blacklist because he claimed It was not removed properly the last time and that's when he kicked me off and blacklisted me again. Most importantly: I would like to apologize to Mitch as yes I was rude towards him I hope I can make that very clear I wasn't kind or polite when speaking to him and I won't let it happen again I'm sorry, And Mitch might not be the only person who I might have annoyed or been rude towards in the past and if im held accountable for anything it will be that and that's the truth. Cant beat around the bush I was rude towards him and for that I do apologize. I hope that I'm able to play as a cop again and I want to be judged on how I play as a cop and not on what I have done in the past, as I have never ever done anything wrong while playing cop I have followed all the rules and never disrespected anyone while being a cop, yes I have been rude to police officers while role playing as a civ but nothing serious to warrant a permanent blacklist. I don't believe its dying i just believe that the gangs camping areas like copper makes it hard for people who are just starting to make money so they take a "break", i evidence shows that its right to assume that they are waiting for the economy to go back up so camping stops happening so much and they can make money, i feel like the server is going to come back alive within the next couple of months

@2Square this is a statement made in sheer ignorance, as @Connor. said this time of year the server always loses a significant amount of its population as a result of exams, the server is clearly not dying. Every year it is said at around this time that the server is dying. To blame this on the new update that the SG development team have worked hard on is again ignorance and a lack of gratefulness for all the work they have put in to make your time on the server better. Sydney was only a good place if you wanted to break rules or troll, as a result I understand your frustrations. Sydney is not the reason that long-term players played the server before the wipe and Sydney was not where the quality combat situations happened at, it was simply an everlasting cluster**** for staff, rebels, medics and cops. If you were paying attention in the school holiday period after the wipe, before people started leaving to focus on exams, the server was consistently at max population in peak hours and in the non peak hours the server pop was still high enough to be able to find people everywhere to rob (for rebels) and to arrest (for cops). Brisbane lacks the same choke-points that Sydney had which made it such a cluster****, so in that sense the the staff have achieved their goal by de-****ing Sydney. As a result the only people that would have resent toward this are the small gangs that focus on trolling cops and breaking rules, namely SF (what a coincidence). The update has spread people out across the map much more effectively than the previous map layout, another success. On whether or not the community should decide the rules, this does have benefits, however you have kind of shot yourself down by revealing that your only intention with this is to allow you to go into city limits with rebel gear. Think of all the great roleplay that will come of that. This would completely reverse the progress the staff have made to de-**** the main city. Its obvious that you only want rebel gear in city limits to kill cops in suv's and with 9mm's, the exact reason the rule was introduced. If you want to fight cops there are plenty of opportunities for you to do it outside of city limits (cops now leave city limits). In conclusion, stop making ignorant and ungrateful statements that simply aren't true. In addition to this don't ask for community voting on rules just to pass your one agenda of killing helpless cops in SUV's within Brisbane when there are vast opportunities to fight them elsewhere.

Hey, As acknowledged in our original post about the Altis Life polls, unfortunately in the past there has been a disconnect between the player's input, and what features or changes were ultimately applied. This is an issue that we hope to fix with our upcoming Altis Life Polls. So, where to from here? All previous suggestions are being looked at by me personally as we look at what to include in these polls. We are looking for things that are feasible to code/implement, have strong community support, and fall within the Altis Life narrative. My advice to you, and other players. Please keep your suggestions coming! Format and articulate your suggestions clearly, and rally support to your post. Feel free to hit me up in TS or Discord if you would prefer to simply talk to me about it.

Just want to stick this player count here: It's not to say the server can't be drastically improved, but shit server and exams have a similar effect on the player count.

@Joshua_ What do you mean I've been on the server for 4 coming up to 5 years now and every single member of my gangs and just players in general have been posting non-stop on how the community and the server can change but noone has listened im not complaining im just stating that staff had put up posts like you saying ''How can we help change straya" we give opinion's and its not good enough because it doesn't meet Management's Standard on whats good for the server, When i was a moderator i did alot of talking alot of posting something that i wasnt good at doing but i did it cause the community needs a change and "F*ck syndey right off that shit was a hell hole it was a place for cops/civilians to break rules and a chaos for staff in general". If the staff team seriously want to help go back to my Suggestions 7 Months back and start from there.

I think another reason why the server is dying is KOS store. I mean cops have been able to pull out mar 10's in the snap of a finger the fact that they gave that to rebels for about 1 day or 2 and then took it off them and never said why. I think most people are just waiting playing other games/servers until this so called "update" is finally released and rebels will start playing again.

Thanks for your post and the feedback you have provided!! I would firstly like to point out that a few weeks before the wipe was announced, i heard countless people in Sydney complaining that the server was boring and that Sydney was just a place to be RDMed and lacked RP. Though it had a social aspect to it, majority of the situations revolved around people leaving safe zone and dying. Im not sure what part of that attracts people to want it back... but thats just my opinion. Moreover, as Sydney was the main city and nearly everything revolved around Sydney, there was little exploration of the rest of the map and many players would not have experienced out of Sydney situations. Post wipe, as you may have seen, has been filled with players all over the map exploring new ways to make money and play. Though Brisbane may lack the same environment that Sydney had, i believe that we can still introduce new elements and ideas to the server that will restore the social and RP aspect that many of you yearn for. As has been previously mentioned, a good idea for this is new jobs, so if you have any ideas in mind feel free to message myself or any other community team member with your ideas and we will try to help make your idea a reality. As for rule changes and ideas, everyone in the community has the ability to voice their opinion and provide suggestions. Straya staff work very hard to work with the community to try and resolve or implement any suggestions. So if you wish for an addition or change to be made, it simply requires a post on the forums or a message to staff. Ultimately, the ongoing complaints about not having Sydney is not helping, constantly viewing the server negatively due to the removal of Sydney spawn location will not help. Instead i implore you to think of other alternatives to improve the server, send in suggestions, speak to community team (we are always here to talk). Bring Sydney back as a main spawn point back and the server may even reach 140 players if the player limit was increased like before. Yes the new wipe practically keeps people in the middle of the map but scattered around the joint, as Sydney was the place to be especially for the social aspect which was amazing. #bringsydneyback
