Official Opening of the Altis Judicial Government The Judicial Government will official start taking applications as of this post. This will have full powers as over midnight tonight. Any ruling made before midnight tonight are legally sound and valid for the predetermined period. No changes can be made to them by the original presiding party. Key Appointments First and foremost, the Attorney General will be @Fusionable. This role will always be held by a senior member of the Altis Life Staff. The Chief Justice, Queens Council and the Chief Prosecutor will all be appointed in due course. The Attorney General is responsible for the appoint of the aforementioned roles from the accepted Application for the respective areas of Lawyers and Judges. The Chief Prosecutor is a joint appointment by the Commissioner and Attorney General. Structure The Judicial Government will consist of one level of Court that is responsible for all Court Cases, the approving of warrant, etc. This will all be detailed in the Judicial Handbook which will be released by the Attorney General in the coming days. Responsibilities The Judicial Government is responsible for the granting of warrants and subpoenas, along with presiding over all court cases. Server rules cannot be disputed in the Judicial Government non can server rules breach be dealt with by the Judicial Government. Greater detail will be available in the Judicial Hand Book. (50 Words min): I believe I deserve a promotion because of many reasons but main because of my desire to be able to help other officers, from when I started out as a pub slot until today one of my greatest desires in the APD was to be able to become a figure where someone could ask questions and I would be able to help them out. As a Sergeant I would be able to help out my fellow officers more and I would be able to do that easier with the rank of sergeant. 1. I would be able to move people in teamspeak so that I may be able to help out those night time playing senior constables as I am normally online late at night because of my timezone. 2.I would be able to help out others by being able to pull out armored vehicles for my fellow officers when I am commanded to or when needed to protect and preserve the lives of my fellow officers. 3.I would be able to help and train other fellow officers to become better cops. 4.As a Sergeant I would be a role model to be able to help out other ranks and to let them continue persevering through the ranks. 5.As a sergeant I would also be able to help out my fellow officers by being able to place charges onto the wanted list. I have and will continue to dedicate time towards the APD and towards Strayagaming so I hope you choose me as an option for the rank of Sergeant. why dont we 200iq have both new and old fed with one in the form of an actual fed and the other a different type of robbery thats been suggested

I wasn't happy with the removal of the new fed, I liked it ?

Just a suggestion and feel free to shoot it down - but now we are back in Sydney, it would be cool have the prison relocated back to its pre-wipe location. Further improvements would be: - An ATM outside for reformed criminals who serve their sentence to get money out to use the bus - if they dont get money out from inside prison before their timer is up, they are teleported outside and have no way of getting back. - Add Correctional facility to police bus stop to allow for police to get to the correctional facility faster to prevent break outs of jail (a few of us have tried doing prison guard RP and its been alot of fun ensuring that the prison is kept safe etc). - prison riot - if 4+ people are in jail, then they can trigger a prison riot - if the timer expires before police respond with non lethal force to break up the riot (e.g. 5 min timer etc) then all prisoners are teleported outside jail and broken out (instead of waiting out their 20-40 min sentences etc) - give medics the ability to walk into prison to revive downed convicts (instead of re-spawning and restarting their prison sentence) just another idea for the backlog of things

Hey everyone, Today I wanted to share some sad news with everyone, and then offer some insight into the future. Due to personal reasons (particularly centered around ongoing health issues), @Connor. has elected to step down from staff/development position for Straya/Altis-life moving forward. This doesn't mean Connor wont be contributing at all in the future, but he will be moving to doing contracted work on a project by project basis should we need it in the future. As for day-to-day AL Dev and the options as I see it for dev moving forward. In the short-medium term I'll be taking over a large part of the day to day AL Development work such as updating miscelaneous systems/functionality changes Altis-Life senior staff will be doing all the map and a large part of the config changes such as accessibility of weapons ect so that our development cycle can continue in between more major changes that we recruit Connor for! To be very clear AL dev should not stall following these changes, it will just become a bit more diversified/will have an actual structure to it instead of Connor shouldering all the hard work. We are also open to people writing code for the mission however this will be blind (without access to the entire mission file) to ensure the security of the mission file. As such what I'm looking for, for anyone who wants to contribute, is stand alone systems/features built by you to improve AL gameplay, if @Mitch and his staff approve the addition and the code is of sufficient quality I will then work on integrating your standalone content into the existing AL mission file. In order to minimize wasted work if you have skills in this area I would suggest contacting Mitch in order to be given features that are more likely to be approved/that staff want. Even though this news is sad and Connor will be missed greatly as a regular member of our staff team I hope everyone will give him recognition for his years of hardwork and dedication; and from everyone in staff I would like to wish him the best in his future endeavors! He has added a huge amount of quality content to AL, including back end security with a leading anticheat system that has protected us from over 500 hackers in the last year, along with countless performance improvements that allow the server to sustain far more clients at a playable level than it used to! For all of this and more we will always be grateful to him. If anyone has any questions about anything related to how things will move forward in this post i'll leave it open for replies so you can ask them.

Do you think that means anything, it's like saying mitch doesn't have a vested interest in the apd still yet police continue to get advantages unnecessarily aka LRPS Scopes being added to only them, and removing any that rebels had

Still don't see the reasoning behind removing new fed, seeing as it was a vote, voted on by people who had never done it, there was one gang that had successfully completed it and apparently the whole server wants it gone now? Then we get the old one back, which isn't working even after a few fixes to try and fix it...

Current westpac is good, it be nice to see the 'new fed' that didnt end up staying fed turned into a robbery of some sort, whether that'd be a gun, y-item or cash robbery is up for debate.

I like it, lots of new tactics and things to try - but I would love another bank for some variety/mix things up every now and again ?
