4 pointsAltis Life in 2019 This post will give a small overview as to where we currently stand regarding Altis Life as we moving into 2019. There are still unresolved issues that we are bring across from 2018 such as a broken Fed and Judicial Government set up. We are also looking to introduce aspects of the server we have seen in the past. A Broken Fed As we all know the Federal Reserve is currently broken. This frustrates me as much as everyone else but I can assure you we are working towards a fix. Judicial Government The Judicial Government was reintroduced in the last part of 2018 and has been idle. I am currently looking for people to take key roles within the Judicial Government. If you are interested please message me on the forums. Introduction of Past Content In the past different items of server content has been removed for many different reasons. We are currently looking to reintroduce some of the past items that people like etc. Nothing at this stages is confirmed but content like crafting, rebel take overs and more are all on the table for possible reintroduction. Some require supporting documents to be created and finalized or updated others are server development and will take longer. Content Optimization Now that we have built up a stable base of content it is time to review it all and see what is good, in need of improvement or replacement. Currently the AGL and Convenience store robberies are being reviewed after suggestions and feedback from the community. Changes have been made and will be coming soon. If these changes do not work then the robberies may be changed out for something else in the future. Content Optimization also means that if a better option is presented then it would be considered. Server Staff With the recent appointments of Corey & Jdawgz to Server Administrator the Altis Life Senior Staff Team will be given areas to watch over, give guidance to and be the first point of call for. The areas and appointed staff member is listed below. Cop - @Corey. Medic & Judicial Government - @JdawgZ (Jdawgs will also be taking over as the Health Minister as of this post) Civilian - @Fusionable Events & Moderator Training - @Kat. We have also welcomed Jake on to the Development Team working with James. Jake is currently on a trial.

2 pointsI think we could add Department of Correction officers and make those officers defend it and have the necessary stuff like Teamspeak channels. And have the department as a sub wing of General Duties and have the appropriate training to the officers to be able to deal with situations that may occur in the prison such as non-cooperating prisoners and prison breaks. I think it would be pretty fun and a great roleplay experience. Recommendations: Make it where Prob. Constables have to mandatorily protect the DOC for a short amount of time while on their taser probation for a week to gain experience on how to communicate with other officers and the daily life of an Altis police officer before they go on duty and experience the real thing. And chadd I agree

1 pointHey all. I've spent time as a Fighter Pilot in I&A for quite a bit on both Altis and Tanoa, and the majority of the time I end up flying the Buzzard. It's something i've preferred over the fast jets (the ones in particular, the stealth jets), since the maps in ArmA tend to be small, and the stall speed is lower than the Black Wasp or Shikra, giving it an advantage in Dog Fighting. The Buzzard is always equipped with the 20mm Cannon with 300 rnds, x2 GBU's, x2 Shrieker HE Pods and x2 Short Range AA Missiles, good overall against aircraft, and ground forces given the chance. Whether or not you choose between CAS or Fighter Plane, the loadout is always the same. I don't have a problem with this much since i'm not one to fly jets 24/7, may be a bit depressing that it is underrated but perfectly fits the bill, sometimes I even fly only for AA unless the ground forces really need air support....the 'scream at the CAS pilot until he drops a bomb on that tank' type of requests, since someone forgot to pack their Bergens full of RPGs instead of First Aid Kits + Medikit. I'd like to suggest my ideas, even it is completely shit and should be abolished entirely, that the CAS Buzzard could; Be given Mk82s to motivate free bombing instead of relying on the GBU to pick up an infantry mans terrible lase. Use more rocket pods rather than bombs. Perhaps AP and HE combined can compensate for the lack of "Heavy Ordinance". Or, if it makes it less dangerous to vehicles and more to infantry Have cannon pods. ...Yes, this is an option. The Mk 82 gives incentive to free bomb and hit the target accurately, and not having to worry about someone lasing a target only for the GBU to land on friendlies. Rocket pods also require accurate hitting, especially when they tend to miss their target over a longer distance. The cannon pods are, compared to the other two options, dedicated to infantry and light vehicle killing...may prove too useful in AA combat though given how they use HE. This is my take on what the Buzzard needs. The AA Buzzard variant is available which should be in the Fighter Plane pool. I don't have much opinions on an AA variant besides having Short Range AA, since you can't ask for much Air-to-Air combat in I&A unless the radio tower still stands, or there's a Zeus online to **** the pilots. I'm open to any opinions, given someone isn't going to say "Fly for transport points" or something along the lines. Edit: The definition of a Fighter Plane is its designed for Air Combat.

1 pointJust a suggestion and feel free to shoot it down - but now we are back in Sydney, it would be cool have the prison relocated back to its pre-wipe location. Further improvements would be: - An ATM outside for reformed criminals who serve their sentence to get money out to use the bus - if they dont get money out from inside prison before their timer is up, they are teleported outside and have no way of getting back. - Add Correctional facility to police bus stop to allow for police to get to the correctional facility faster to prevent break outs of jail (a few of us have tried doing prison guard RP and its been alot of fun ensuring that the prison is kept safe etc). - prison riot - if 4+ people are in jail, then they can trigger a prison riot - if the timer expires before police respond with non lethal force to break up the riot (e.g. 5 min timer etc) then all prisoners are teleported outside jail and broken out (instead of waiting out their 20-40 min sentences etc) - give medics the ability to walk into prison to revive downed convicts (instead of re-spawning and restarting their prison sentence) just another idea for the backlog of things

1 point*DISCLAIMER* This is just my opinion, my view, my thoughts, and how I perceive the things I see. If I have said something wrong or have offended someone in any way please tell me as I would like to learn from this to.* -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post Wipe - Pre Sydney Return Alright so we all know that the change of the main cities to Melb & Bris took a big hit at the population, it forced the city gangs to try and play heavy with rebel gear and all while they got absolutely destroyed by the gangs that already played like that before the wipe. The change also made overall daily gameplay pretty boring to a certain point. Fire fights happened less but, when the fire fights did happen it was a much more intense fight that fights in the city. The medic force also started to die around here because it wasn't much fun or as appealing anymore. You would have to drive such a long distance just to be able to get to one body then drive another long distance to get to another. While you're driving the person could just respawn or be in a combat zone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post Sydney Return I don't really see much of a problem with cop side and/or civ side aside from the fact that less action has been happening compared to pre-wipe because of the effects of city gangs disappearing. Right now some city gangs are popping up so there's not much of a problem either way. The medic force on the other hand seems to have been on a downwards spiral or at least not as good as it was before. I couldn't wrap my head around why the medic force was dying, all I could think of was that the medic force isn't as fun or as appealing as it used to be. I couldn't think of a reason why, so the reason I seem to have on my mind right now is that there isn't really much going on for them to do. Medics now don't have much people to revive, yes they have a shorter distance to drive but where do you drive if there's no one to revive? The cancer, the chaos, and how hectic old Sydney was is what made the medic life fun. You would be reviving someone at least every five to ten minutes (except when bank gets hit maybe the time would be longer, but you would still be reviving people because of civ vs civ) Now with city gangs gone or not as much as they used to be medics don't really have much people to revive. Maybe a small city gang of 3 or 4 would fight the cops sometimes but they would either be in a combat zone or just respawn because they don't want to be sent to jail from the cops. Now the medics would only revive about 2 -3 dead cops or 1 - 3 dead civs and they would all be in one spot. I remember before where medics had a lot of dead people on the map and they would be able to pick which one to go to just in case the other was a combat zone. So basically my thoughts are if we want medic numbers to rise again (And on a consistent basis) then we'll have to add back some of the chaos in Sydney then just hope that players and small gangs increase in number. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AGAIN JUST MY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ON MEDIC AND OTHER STUFF

1 pointPeople are saying the reason theres no one on is because of exams. Yeah I guess that's the reason for SOME people. But theres something obviously wrong when all the big gangs and some cops go to another server. In order for the server to have a complete revive is to go back to its former self. The new server just doesn't feel right. One thing that NEEDS to come back is Sydney. Sydney was the reason a lot of people played on the server. although it was cancerous and there was trolling, it was what made straya fun for some people and it was an amazing place to talk with others and socialise. In Sydney there would always be people there, market would be flooded with people and it was so much fun. In Brisbane, there may be like 3 or 4 civs and they just stood there. GD was also the way it should've been in Sydney. GD stayed in city limits and dealt with civilians whilst SRT would fight rebels outside city limits. Now GD are the ones fighting rebels, because we are forced to leave and go out because Brisbane is so small and no ones there. Another reason people are leaving is because rebels have nothing to do. Rebels can rob a bank and that's about it. They cant camp drug fields or anything because they don't like killing random civies. Gangs had their fun with fighting SRT outside city limits, but now its just them versing GD, and GD are well equipped for fighting rebels when theyre on their basic patrols. Point is, Sydney needs to come back and there should be more things for rebels and civilians to do. Please bring Sydney back
