Bye... So I'm quitting due to a few reasons which ill state below well I think the day I joined this community again as staff I felt I would do good for the community but since that day I haven't felt that way all I feel is slowness and clumsiness as well as this server is great and all but it isn't doing as good as it could be it just seems that a lot of sucking up to higher-ups accrues more then you think like not going to point names *Mitch* but when a community dislikes someone doesn't that say that clearly the community doesn't like him so by giving him moderator and skipping that in a few weeks to senior to then skipping it again to management clearly the community ain't going to like it but hey what can you do i just mean I would rather have no staff then allow staff members to skip the roles which have different power and responsibilities but I guess ill leave it here ill stop complaining but I did, however, enjoy myself the past few weeks but hey best to luck with the server people. Reason for leaving listed below The community is not as fun as it should be. Very slow at running the community. Staff don't listen to the community anymore. A lot of staff abuse power/abilities. Server deaded. A lot of staff get given everything for sucking up.

@Zarco We miss you.... I want to make the server look how the players want it to looks as much as possible. We will have some limitations to keep a sense of balancing etc but I am going to be spending a far bit of time today look at suggestions and reading what everyone has to say. Keep it coming!

When we join the server and are first loaded into the map - we die instantly - seems like we're falling and hitting the ground

People are saying the reason theres no one on is because of exams. Yeah I guess that's the reason for SOME people. But theres something obviously wrong when all the big gangs and some cops go to another server. In order for the server to have a complete revive is to go back to its former self. The new server just doesn't feel right. One thing that NEEDS to come back is Sydney. Sydney was the reason a lot of people played on the server. although it was cancerous and there was trolling, it was what made straya fun for some people and it was an amazing place to talk with others and socialise. In Sydney there would always be people there, market would be flooded with people and it was so much fun. In Brisbane, there may be like 3 or 4 civs and they just stood there. GD was also the way it should've been in Sydney. GD stayed in city limits and dealt with civilians whilst SRT would fight rebels outside city limits. Now GD are the ones fighting rebels, because we are forced to leave and go out because Brisbane is so small and no ones there. Another reason people are leaving is because rebels have nothing to do. Rebels can rob a bank and that's about it. They cant camp drug fields or anything because they don't like killing random civies. Gangs had their fun with fighting SRT outside city limits, but now its just them versing GD, and GD are well equipped for fighting rebels when theyre on their basic patrols. Point is, Sydney needs to come back and there should be more things for rebels and civilians to do. Please bring Sydney back

Nearest medic (within 500m) is now shown when carrying/dragging someone. Added the weekly Top 3 Pilots and Medics to the I&A Discord Live Feed channel. Altis/Tanoa will post something like this every Monday at ~12am: Reduced mission file size. Added CAS variant Black Wasp to highest CAS pool. (Loadout subject to change) Fixed Snipers/Autoriflemen being unable to use the SDAR. Fixed 'Open Parachute' option showing while fast-roping. Fixed base-only Bobcat not respawning when taken outside base. Adjusted T-140 spawn position to fix this. Adjusted Gorgon spawn chance. Fast-rope enable/disable hotkey (Tab) no longer activated when Alt key is pressed at the same time. Added/changed some chat message tips. Tweaked some Robocop stuff. As a Sergeant I would be able to help out my fellow officers more and I would be able to do that easier with the rank of sergeant. 1. I would be able to move people in teamspeak so that I may be able to help out those night time playing senior constables as I am normally online late at night because of my timezone. 2.I would be able to help out others by being able to pull out armored vehicles for my fellow officers when I am commanded to or when needed to protect and preserve the lives of my fellow officers. 3.I would be able to help and train other fellow officers to become better cops. 4.As a Sergeant I would be a role model to be able to help out other ranks and to let them continue persevering through the ranks. 5.As a sergeant I would also be able to help out my fellow officers by being able to place charges onto the wanted list. I've been apart of this community for nearly two years, serving 6 months as Commissioner, a couple months as support team and a couple weeks as a trial moderator before departing from SG's Altis Life. The server has been through multiple up and downs before my time and during my time. I was present during the Vertiigo incident that resulted in a reset of the Police Force, where I was trusted by the leads at the time to rebuild the Police Force from basically nothing. On top of that, I was a part AnzusGaming, serving as Commissioner then as Server Manager. This server has a habit of reacting to certain situations rather than being proactive and fixing the problems earlier on. The server was around 20 players average after the Vertiigo incident and LuckyB33f had to step in and force changes for the better of the community. We were back up to 100 players during peak and sometimes hitting max population. And I feel like this is what is happening right now. When the server pop drops, the management becomes reactive and starts making change, or attempting to make change. I feel this attitude towards change in the server needs to be fixed, there are multiple different posts on the forums suggesting for one thing (capture areas) and nothing has been done about it at all. Hopefully with the recent decrease in playerbase, change will start to happen again to benefit the server. The polls in my opinion are just a waste of time on how they're currently used. I made a rant about this on discord but I'm going to extend this on the forums. The first polls that were released had one or two things that could have been worthy of a poll while the others were something that shouldn't have been polled in the first place. Small changes like adding a repair and refuel platform is something that the administration could read in a suggestions post and add it straight away. Other things like adding more helicopters in the shops and better drops in the airdrop could be done without a public poll. Just to clarify, I'm not against polls but I don't like how they're being used at the moment. Polls should be leaning more towards major changes such as Sydney being the main town again or fed being changed to a different location. AnzusGaming might be a better server at this current state, feel free to try it out but don't leave this community entirely. I have confidence the administration will try their best to satisfy its population. I have worked with Frank and Mitch, in fact I was the one who promoted Mitch to Deputy Commissioner. Both of them have flaws, but I would trust Mitch to run a server over Frank. Frank is a person who encourages doxing, threatens to leak personal information about others, and photoshops steam messages to try and discredit me when I accused him of scamming. This person has also sold files of Underbelly to two different communities (to my knowledge) when they weren't his to sell in the first place (Have evidence of that but won't be posting publicly), scamming people hundreds of dollars for his own personal gain. I am extremely active when regarding when I am available to "be on shift", I am on almost everyday for a great amount of time. As someone who is loyal to the APD I also am constantly trying to better myself, I do this via constantly learning new and efficient ways to apply myself to the team, always keeping up to date with whats happening around me (what needs fixing/help, what needs to be done) and spending time talking to more experienced officers and how they go about things and what they did to succeed. No team succeeds without accurate, efficient and effective team work. I believe that I display advanced team work skills through great communication with my partners and higher ups and assisting my team when and wherever I can. I know it takes a lot to be a Sergeant, and I'm completely aware that it's not for everyone but I strongly believe that with my hard work, dedication and team work I have what it takes, what it takes to support my fellow detectives and become a great role model and valuable asset to the APD. "Dying" not dead. You can't even deny it. Look at your player numbers, they are lower then they were a year ago. And it's in a steady decline. I'm only going by graphs and facts.

It's rather unfortunate that Straya is slowly becoming what we all feared. I guess the saying "The king doesn't live forever" is rather true. Either its in a month or a year or 2 years, Straya will die like almost all community. Given we won't be seeing Arma 4 for another 3-4 years, I'm feeling doubtful you's can milk Arma 3 that long while still keeping the community. Just my 2 cents.

You know, technically there is nothing stopping us going back to Sydney on our own right? The Hospital and PD still have their item shops (albeit PD doesnt have a vehicle spawn but we can figure that out lol), the general store is still there as well as the old car garage for Civ. Theres no spawn point, but I see this as an ample opportunity for people to create air taxi business! imagine this, you go to Air Field, melb sky diving or brisbane air garage and pay $1000 per seat to get on some ones huron or other heli and they fly you into Sydney and drop you off. So if you get killed you have to work to get back. business Ideas i see: - air taxis (i.e. pilots who can fly people in and out or can be chartered to do gun store runs with paying passengers) - fuel truckers (to drive around and refuel the helis etc) - licensed pistol sellers (they buy guns and for your convenience sell them closers to sydney lol, or you can get them cheaper by going to gun store yourself) - somebody find snagman and bring him back to straya AL We would need to self regulate it as there is no safe zones so it doesnt completely turn into another purge, but at the same time we can go back to the city we loved so much XD This is in the discussion page cause its not a server suggestion as what ever is happening in the background will come to light eventually, but for those who cannot wait... actually Roleplay (wait does Roleplay mean?) and lets do it ourselves! Medics can resume duties in Sydney, Cops can patrol, Civs can gather and have a laugh again - sheesh why not aye?

I have also done a number of trainings and enlistments showing that I am dedicated and willing to do paper work when required. I have shown myself in the face of combat and can handle most situations easily and don't panic and cluster coms. I have been a dedicated detective and wish to remain dedicated towards the APD. I have taken CO on both GD and ops for example hostage situations. I have never lost a hostage during a negotiation and have dealt with these situations professionally and successfully. Why the appeal should be accepted: I believe I should not be blacklisted from Detective because the punishment I was given did not match the punishments that are listed in the Detective Protocols. And because I was not punished the same as another Detective who previously did the same thing earlier. About one week before my punishment was handed out, another Detective was found to be playing in a rebel gang without taking leave, he was punished for it however he was simply just given a warning and given some restrictions on what Detective Ops he could do for a week, then a day or two later he was caught again playing rebel without leave, still not even a blacklist for him though, he was just kicked from Detectives and given a demotion from his APD Rank, he was then blacklisted after he leaked the Detective Database to his gang members. I don't understand why am I being given the same punishment as someone who played on rebel without leave twice even after being punished the first time and leaking the Detective Database to an entire gang. This is not me trying to get back into detectives right now, I am however wanting to have the opportunity in the future. It is also not me trying to avoid or undermine what I did wrong, I fully understand that what I did was wrong however I do not believe it is worth what I got. Any other information: I did not make another account to avoid being caught, I had the second account beforehand and I wanted to put it to use while also having a completely different account with no money and items. Hopefully you can believe that seeing as I have been honest with everything so far.
