Hi all, We have some long awaited rules that are due to be put in place. These rules are in place to hopefully clean and fix up any grey or unclear areas. If you have any suggestions or have found an unclear/grey area please notify Altis Life Senior Staff immediately. These new rules will be effective as of the 21st of November 3PM AEDT, on the Wednesday 3PM restart. Added: 1 - General Rules 1.3 Any use of Macros are not allowed when on the server. 2 - Fail Role-Play (Fail RP) 2.2 Aborting the Server while in restraints or roleplay or while dead will be considered Combat Logging (You must wait the timer out and respawn before, leaving the server). 2.4 Storing or impounding a vehicle during an active declaration will be seen as Fail RP. 3 - New Life Rule (NLR) 3.4.1 You cannot be engaged in a combat situation by the party that caused your death in the same combat situation after being revived. 5 - Declarations 5.1 All declarations must be done via email or direct communication, this includes voice. (Direct communication can not be done on a moving vehicle.) 5.4 Declarations on Police must be done by either direct communication (this includes voice) or dispatch. 5.9.3 After concluding a situation pursuing a player into city limits in rebel gear, you must immediately make all attempts to leave city limits. 5.10 The robbing of a house does NOT form a declaration between the robber and owner. 5.11 All Rebel/Contractor/Cartel Groups are to wear the Gang tag associated with their group. (Example : [123] YOURNAME) 5.12 Rebels that enter a city limits in rebel clothing or carry an illegal weapon may be met with undeclared lethal force from the police force this is a one way dec. 5.13 You must declare on a person before you can restrain or knock them out. This includes tasing or knocking down. 5.13.1 Police are exempt from this rule when restraining to check licenses or ticketing. 5.13.2 Police are not required to declare on rebels in city limits when doing this however it will start a declaration between both parties. 6 - Random Death Match (RDM) 6.4.1 - If the situation has a hostage involved you can shoot the hostage and only the hostage regardless of Rule 6.4. 9 - Robberies 9.1 Ten Police officers must be online to rob the Westpac bank, and Twelve for the Federal Reserve. 9.3 When a bank is hit off, all declarations which include the bank robbers or police are called off. 9.3.1 This rule is only applicable towards a 2km radius of the bank. 9.5.2 Westpac has a cooldown time of one and a half hours. 10 - Hostage Rules 10.5 A declaration must be formed prior to initiating a Hostage Situation. 12.5 When robbing any bank Rebel members must be sure that the appropriate amount of time has passed between cooldowns. (See Robbery Rules) Removed: 2.5.1 Civilian contractors can help cops however they can only use civilian gear (They are civilians after all). 9.1 Eight-Police officers must be online to rob the Westpac bank, Ten for Brisbane bank and Twelve for the Federal Reserve. 9.4.2 Westpac has a cooldown time of one hour. 9.4.3 Brisbane Bank has a cooldown time of one and a half hours. 10.1.1 The reasonable demands of the hostage taker must be met. 10.5 A declaration between the hostage takers and the police/gang members of hostage is only formed once either party declares negotiations over. This must be either emailed to the faction leader or said in direct communication. 13.4.1 Commissioner is required to reply to document within 2 day 13.4.2 Deputy Commissioner in the absence of the Commissioner if on holidays or leave may represent and take authority of weapons contract. 13.5 Under no circumstances should Civilian Contractor Groups patrol cities in Rebel Gear - Civilian Gear is to be worn in cities at all times! (See rule 2.8)

I can't comment on other things, but this is the biggest joke I have ever seen... The only credible staff abuse of powers & abilities was from some individuals looking to 'leave with a bang' (E.g. giving themselves a big comp payout or nazi-fying database before quitting) or the Wasteland conundrum. The rest of the complaints were either from individuals who wanted to lash back out at the staff, or were so pissed off that they were stopped from breaking the rules that they managed to type out one sentence saying 'this person yelled at me' without a braincell left. But seriously, while I was staff, there was surprisingly little actual abuse. It was sadly a bit boring imo... I would have preferred more ?

Hey, I have already sent this to a few of you guys and have received some positive feedback so I thought why not chuck it on the forums. This video isn't intended to 'bully' any specific person or group of people but instead was made just as an experiment to gain some experience in regards to video editing. Obviously it isn't a great video as I don't have much experience in regards to video editing but I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback (good or bad) in regards to what you are about to watch. You'd have more success trying to merge with an exile community. Last time Straya did Exile, it was popular for the first week then barely had any players after that. I'd rather the work go towards pop up servers, something like a modded I&A or wasteland. A game mode where you can get decent pop for the weekend or a week then shut it down and bring it back after a few months.

I Like these points, especially the whole Role-play thing. But I'm sure that your aware of a certain already existing role-play server in which the players are either wandering through the nearest most accessible forums to find somewhere to shit post, whether or not it's about them, or about the server they are currently playing on and investing time on. Basically your asking untrustworthy individuals to abide to a code or fair roleplay when we even have a server which consists of roleplay, but due to the lack of common sense and intelligence at that we cant be sure that every player is gonna follow the simplest of Role-Play rules. I know its a shitty Rant but its true, and most people who have played on such servers know its Horrors. I'd love to try Exile Role-play seems interesting.

The devs do work for the server they want to do work for. Just because we start up a new server doesn’t mean we are taking Devs from the AL server. Calm your tits. If your so worried about “your server missing out”, learn how to do shit yourself. As related to the point of this topic -have never played Exile and would love to give it a try.

I have also been actively completing Induction trainings to a high standard which I enjoy doing. If I got a promotion to Sergeant it will allow me to bring more to the Altis Police Department as I could add charges, drag users in TS, add roles in TS etc. In conclusion, I believe I deserve a promotion to Sergeant because I have been actively taking CO, actively completing Inductions to a high standard and because I believe I have what it takes to be a Sergeant of the APD. So I'm quitting due to a few reasons which ill state below well I think the day I joined this community again as staff I felt I would do good for the community but since that day I haven't felt that way all I feel is slowness and clumsiness as well as this server is great and all but it isn't doing as good as it could be it just seems that a lot of sucking up to higher-ups accrues more then you think like not going to point names *Mitch* but when a community dislikes someone doesn't that say that clearly the community doesn't like him so by giving him moderator and skipping that in a few weeks to senior to then skipping it again to management clearly the community ain't going to like it but hey what can you do i just mean I would rather have no staff then allow staff members to skip the roles which have different power and responsibilities but I guess ill leave it here ill stop complaining but I did, however, enjoy myself the past few weeks but hey best to luck with the server people. Reason for leaving listed below The community is not as fun as it should be. Very slow at running the community. Staff don't listen to the community anymore. A lot of staff abuse power/abilities. Server deaded. A lot of staff get given everything for sucking up.

Love Exile, an idea "Role-Play Exile" 1. A player Market 2. Making C4 only found from hard Missions 3.High tier trucks/helis cost more (Something for players to build/work towards) 4. Some RP (To make the game more fun and in a way last longer for the player)

In my opinion (and I know it isn't a popular one) Navids and SPMG's should be brought back. Yes, they are overpowered which is why they should cost a lot of time and money to get. They should be high risk, high reward weapons. They were somewhat high risk last wipe but if they were to be brought back in this wipe.. the cost of either crafting or buying a navid especially should sky rocket. If used by the right person, a navid could determine the outcome of a fight. I personally believe that navids and spmg's were overused in the last wipe and especially towards the end but if brought back I feel as though the amount of navids used would plummet if implemented correctly. Striders are gone, and I'm happy they are. I don't like being desync rammed although it was funny at times, however server events that allowed the use of striders would be pretty cool to participate in.

no one gives a shit about exile, there are 100's out there, dont waste dev time make a exile server, first add NEW content to altis life, oh and I stress NEW content cause only altis life content in the last 1 year has been changed content, sure you changed the ui and shit and made things work and look nicer but theres no new content, so stop fking around with exile servers and make a server your community is based around better
