Bring your mates, deceive them and pretend you're their friend and then stab them in the back and kill everyone else because F*CK The LAW! Connection Info Under TTT in Multiplayer, search Straya or direct connect via console (~) 'connect 103.212.227.76' Server opens 7:00 PM Friday 13th (Tonight) Rundown of the Gamemode The game mode is about a group of "terrorists" who have traitors among them, out to kill everyone who's not a traitor. A small number of players is selected as Traitors, who have to kill all the Innocent players (ie. the rest of the players). Those innocents know they are in the majority, but they do not know who is Traitor and who is not. The Traitors must use the element of surprise and their special equipment if they are to succeed. The Innocent just have to survive, which means finding out who the Traitors are and killing them before they kill you. Of course, everyone is holding a big gun, and everyone looks suspicious... For the Innocent, knowledge is power: who is acting strangely? Who can be linked to evidence found on corpses? Who is still alive, even? How to Play? You need to have Garry's Mod (GMod) installed on Steam. You need Counter-Strike: Source installed. In GMod, join a TTT server. (50 Words min) I believe I deserve a promotion to Sergeant due to a number of reasons. Firstly, I have show great commitment and dedication to the APD over the past year, being a GD Senior Sergeant, then transferring over to SRT. I have done everything I could do to help advance the APD, whether it was commanding GD or helping out on the combat side of things, such as at banks and operations. Secondly, I know how to properly command units in both GD and at banks and other major robberies, I have gone through the process of getting to Sergeant several times now and I know what it takes and I have always been willing to put in the time and effort it takes to achieve my goal. Thirdly, I am a very approachable person and I am always willing to answer any questions other officers may have, if I know the answer of course. I have done quite a lot of inductions over my time as being a Police Officer, as well as other trainings, and I am used to being asked questions and responding to them. I do not get frustrated if a recruit doesn't understand something and I am very patient to deal with an officer who isn't sure of something. Lastly, if I were to be promoted to Sergeant, I would be able to be in a higher position of command, meaning I can then take CO at banks and other robberies when needed. I posted as a joke but I am sorry if I offended you. Even though I don't play Straya Gaming Altis Life I know what you are talking about and Staff Members have said that they are working on it and if you want to rather than making long paragraphers (not to be a dick) perhaps gathering information from everyone and sending it to the corresponding QA team or perhaps a good idea is making a list of the information you have gathered and make a forum post and do it every 2 weeks or. Pre wipe days were the best, there was always something happening. I remember there always being 70+ civs on when I came on, and the way the server is now with pop is really sad to see. There were always fights going on, people actually had something other than a mk1 back then, you had people with zafs, navids, asps, lynxs, mk1s and others. The economy wipe created a meta where it was just mk1 vs mk1, and that made combat get stale really quickly. I see their slowly making gang bases better with adding mk200s, I remember the gang base I had whitelisting to in pre wipe had zafs, mk200s, asps and more and it was heaps good, but for too long the new gang bases were basically just another rebel outpost and they weren't really worth paying and fighting for. Making gang bases what they were would be a step in the right direction imo, cause then rebels will actually want to own a GB and then will enjoy combat more because they will have easier access to these bigger guns without having to spend hours crafting or going to KOS store. Old uranium would be good to have back as well, I heard that it was OP but it was high risk high reward and it brought players in and there was more combat. Changing that back to the way it was would also be a step in the right direction, as rebel gear is not cheap and having a high risk high reward way to make tons of cash while having combat is a good aspect that the server had and that should come back. I don't know how people feel about the new capture point and how its a KOS shop, but personally I think it was better up at the top left hand corner of the map, because with uranium and its high reward, players could then take that cash to another place on the map and buy better weaponry, it would just be another area for combat to occur, but that's just my imo on it. These are things I think should be changed and obviously theres more but these are my main points, but zeds got the right idea about how straya should be its own server and ect, straya was great the way it was pre wipe , and it should add back everything that we lost with that economy wipe.

Not only does this totally miss the point of the discussion and make you look like a shill for the event, it makes the staff team overall look bad. Basically what you’ve (a staff member) just done is told us (people who have aired legitimate complaints about the server in a constructive manner) to join a different server. Now this is what we in the industry may call “Big Brain Time” I’m sure that many of the Altis life players will join another server, probably not a straya one though. On another relevant note I’ve noticed a trend of staff shutting down discussions by locking them when critical of the server after one or two community members bring the discussion off topic, as opposed to hiding the relevant off topic posts.

We can only do so much to change the meta though, there is a certain onus on the players to not do the things that are boring, and to find new, fun, and entertaining ways to play the game. Almost all meta altering changes are met by autistic screeching... I lowered gem proficiencies a while ago and all the rebel gangs lost their shit because they couldn't make max cash in a few hours anymore.

I miss Altis Life Stats.... seeing who the richest **** on the server is.... seeing who has a bounty and thus how cool they are... seeing if farmer george was still the most killed player on the server... Bring back Altis Life Stats....

I said it 5 years ago the reason why the playerbase is decreasing is because: A) people have moved on from Arma 3 and moved on other games or younger people are just not interested in playing older games like arma 3. B) Some people don't want to play with default altis life or are board with playing with default Arma 3 vehicles and weapons anymore some people wound like to have more realistic affect to the game with mods like task forced radio and more vehicles, weapons and custom addons I said it 3-4 years ago Alits life will die out one day and so will Arma 3 eventuality and I said we need to branch outside of arma 3 and outside of alits life like two-three years ago we were working on a strict Arma 3 life server with custom addons that could have worked but was canned in the end due to the lack of Dev's. C) It's a Role play server Role play instead of shooting, Role play your way out of things and it shouldn't be about shooty shooty it should be about RP that's what alits life is about RP and making some money.

Maybe start looking at giving out lighter bans ? The player base is already on the decrease.
