The Ifrit doors only offer protection against bullets when they are not open (locked). Bullets are able to pass through if they are open (unlocked). The Hunter does not suffer this kind of issue, bullets cannot hurt the driver regardless of whether the doors are open or closed. I would recommend removing the script for Hunters/Ifrits where the doors physically open and close as one side gets an advantage and the other doesn't.

Why the appeal should be accepted: [50 Words] I was blacklisted for a non cop related issue and this is just unfair, I would totally understand If I broke the police rules or the server rules but I haven't and never did. This disciplinary action was unnecessary. I’m not a bad cop but I will say I have been a bad civilian. Any other information: I waited in the command channel for hours and after talking to some high ranking police members, I was helped they eventually removed the blacklist and the problem was solved, I was able to play cop again and I did occasionally just play as a peaceful pub slot until recently, I went to play after not playing for months I was gearing up to stop a bank Robbery, until I was moved out of channel by Big Kev and told that he would be reinstating the blacklist because he claimed It was not removed properly the last time and that's when he kicked me off and blacklisted me again. Most importantly: I would like to apologize to Mitch as yes I was rude towards him I hope I can make that very clear I wasn't kind or polite when speaking to him and I won't let it happen again I'm sorry, And Mitch might not be the only person who I might have annoyed or been rude towards in the past and if im held accountable for anything it will be that and that's the truth. Cant beat around the bush I was rude towards him and for that I do apologize. I hope that I'm able to play as a cop again and I want to be judged on how I play as a cop and not on what I have done in the past, as I have never ever done anything wrong while playing cop I have followed all the rules and never disrespected anyone while being a cop, yes I have been rude to police officers while role playing as a civ but nothing serious to warrant a permanent blacklist. First Aids kits should be Y menu item this can help stop combat healing and make it so it can be canceled by pressing ESC mid heal if need to shoot i have seen this done before and it is a great feature for combat players and other players who fat finger space bar or middle mouse button mid dismount/remount.

Thank you everyone for your feed back and experiences. First - Lets all acknowledge the point of this thread was to give positive feed back to several police officers i forgot to get the names of. Second - To acknowledge the positive role play of several civilians in some potentially emotionally charged situations. Third - A great display of positive interaction between several factions that often hit each other head to head in a negative US vs THEM way. There are always going to be those who mean to role play well who come across as ... less than intended. And there will always be those who have no interest in role play - no matter how hard others try to accommodate them. In my experience - fail role play scenarios often occur because one or more individuals involved are unsure / uncomfortable / unused to positive constructive role play and just assume the worst case scenario is one or more people are just trolling. For those who are interested in some advice on LAWYER role play - I am available at any time to meet and help demonstrate some pointers. Examples include - When a charge filed by police should be ACCEPTED and the client should plead guilty to. - When a charge filed by police should NOT BE ACCEPTED and the police should have the REASON your not accepting it explained.. in a calm and logical manner. Remember - Negotiations are not 1 sided. The police will want to nail a conviction on that guy they caught. The guy will want to have as many charges dropped as possible. Find a middle ground - and 9/10 times i have found even the most " I hate role play " police / civilians will agree to a compromise. Because as a lawyer - You are not the enemy of police. You are the person who helps SPEED up the process that allows the POLICE to do their job , and the CLIENT to feel you have defended their rights. And often .. you can do both while showing both the police and the client that neither of them are being disrespectful to the other. Peace out and happy role playing ?

Arma doesnt have the greatest blast damage either. The only solution i know is something like ACE which overhauls it. But thats a massive change for such an insignificant issue. Just chuck like 3-4 nades into the building.

Yes, I've seen that too sometimes. But, it's the same as when you shoot an AI multiple times and they occasionally don't take damage from the second or third shot. Not much I can do about it, it's just Arma AI. I can't change "blast damage values" of each explosive, but I can change the damage taken by AI from certain things. Doing so is a bit of a pain in the ass though, and I imagine not very performance friendly, so I'm not going to do that.

I agree with bringing Sydney back, but the part about making rules so rebels can come into city limits....I strongly disagree. I also have to agree more with @Daywalker with this. Gangs would just troll in Sydney, and that's why the staff made it so players are more spread around the map. Allowing rebels with 7.62s to come into city limits just to kill cops in un armoured vehicles with 9mms, just wouldn't work. Cause then we get over powered in the city and civilians are no longer safe ANYWHERE. Rebels belong outside city limits, and that will never change. I do absolutely agree that Sydney should be brought though. I wouldn't want it as a main city again, but it should be a spawnable location for civilians.

When ever I try to do lawyer roleplay the cops always get really hostile and uncooperative and try to do everything in there power to stop me representing my client...

These new changes will be in effect on 15/10/2017. Have a read on what is going to happen. The Altis Police Department has decided to implement Age Restrictions on those who wish to join. The Age Limit will be 15. This Age Limit will not be strict, we would like to give everyone a chance to play as a cop however will be making it more difficult for new applicants. If you are underaged and have applied for cop, you will have to undergo an interview with selected members of the Command Team and Academy before being whitelisted. This interview will be a judge of character and maturity. Anyone caught lying in their application will be blacklisted off cop for a month and will not be able to apply for 2 months. We would like everyone to be honest when applying. In addition, we are going to be a lot harsher on those who are immature or disruptive. This applies to players of all ages, not just those underaged. Every single cop represents the entire APD and by doing so you represent the server. If anyone does anything to defame the APD or the server, intentionally or not, they will be dealt with harshly. We currently have a zero tolerance for pub slots, anyone who doesn't follow simple instructions will be kicked off and possibly blacklisted until they appeal. If people are serious about cop they will do their best not to mess around and follow simple instructions. There is a high demand for cop, pubslots who take an excess amount of times getting on teamspeak or do not have teamspeak setup will be kicked to open up a slot for someone else.
