This is just a quick announcement talking about upcoming changes to Altis Life Things Coming Soon We have been reading and listing to your suggestions. One of the biggest ones is to return to Sydney so we will be doing so. Another request was to return fed to it past location and again we will be doing so. Another popular one was Capture points, we have started work on capture points and will improve them over a couple of updates. As I have said to many of you and in a couple of my replies on suggestions we are not making any promises nor giving dates to things. All updates are subject to last minute changes or in some cases technical issues and this why we do not want to commit to any times. Things we are looking at for the future These things we are still looking at and want your feed back. Crafting Judicial Government Rebel Takeover Formalizing Gangs More robberies Nothing in that above list is confirmed and some may not make it to the server. We want your feed back on them so we know what you want. Making Suggestions The best way to make a suggestion is to make a post about it in the Altis Life Suggestions area. Altis Life Staff will be looking at this area on a regular basis. Messaging myself or other members of the Altis Life Staff team could lead to things being missed and forgotten. If you have an idea for something on the map then please create it in the Eden Editor and post them in a post in the Suggestions area.

Do we get any sort of ETA on the rework of the judicial system it hasn't been around for a while and there isn't really much news on it. It brought a way of getting comp for things without having to go to help desk and start complaining and brought a whole new way to play on the server

I play on it every now and then. It just gets a bit irritating when the enemy can shoot you through layers of canopy that is clearly impossible for them to see you through. No massive deal breaker, but just a tad annoying.

One of my plans was to start getting Tanoa Tuesday back up as a regular event when I have the time free to do so (not until the start of December). But hey, if you can get public interest up go for it man. Tanoa is a great map.

As an officer who is apart of the detective division I believe that I have what it takes to to further excel these skills and demonstrate them to their full capacity. Hard work, hard work is essential for anyone in the APD, I demonstrate hard work through all my duties within the detective division.I feel that when I am approached by a task no matter how big or small, I not only make sure it is completed, but is completed to perfection expressing quality and commitment. Dedication, dedication shows people that you care, you have a genuine urge to succeed and have the capability to be an extremely valuable asset to the team. I show my amazing dedication to the APD through the time that I devote to my duties and my constant urge to better myself as a valuable asset to the detective team. I am extremely active when regarding when I am available to "be on shift", I am on almost everyday for a great amount of time. As someone who is loyal to the APD I also am constantly trying to better myself, I do this via constantly learning new and efficient ways to apply myself to the team, always keeping up to date with whats happening around me (what needs fixing/help, what needs to be done) and spending time talking to more experienced officers and how they go about things and what they did to succeed. No team succeeds without accurate, efficient and effective team work. I believe that I display advanced team work skills through great communication with my partners and higher ups and assisting my team when and wherever I can. I know it takes a lot to be a Sergeant, and I'm completely aware that it's not for everyone but I strongly believe that with my hard work, dedication and team work I have what it takes, what it takes to support my fellow detectives and become a great role model and valuable asset to the APD. So in other words, they don't like the sector control type of gameplay?... At least for me, I kind of find it interesting and unique, like it's a huge break from the well known repetitive routine of Altis.

I would be OK with playing on Tanoa if more people played. Altis is just boring. I wish BI would make another map for Arma 3 vanilla, or contract someone to make a proper large map with a lot of varied areas. Tanoa has AI shooting through brush, but I assume that they are shooting at where they last glimpsed you. I do that too. Maybe when Warlords comes out soon, we could try that even. It is great.

I would love to see tanoa make a resurgence. My best battles were on tanoa in I and A. As I mentioned in the other post we will push for tanoa Tuesday to be a real thing again but it would be nice to see it used even more than that. Altus has the same issue with the trees and grass , it's just not as noticeable. Not sure where Fitz gets those stats but most people I've asked in the past about apex tell me they haven't got it, won't pay for it or can't afford it.

I would be keen to play on tanoa, but little freaked out by the trees and the AI being able to see through them.. ...but would join if others are keen. ? Can we run a poll on here? Machine, you want to start a poll to see how many have Apex or the other DLCs?

First of all, I find it extremely necessary to give a massive thankyou to @Mitch. On behalf of every single person who currently plays Straya Gaming Altis Life, thankyou! I think it is safe to say that we all appreciate the fact that you are taking our opinions into account and ensuring that our voices are heard. It is refreshing to see that Altis Life is in good hands again. Secondly, after reading your recent announcement, I noticed that you asked for our input on a few things that may or may not be added to the game so here I am to share mine. Crafting - Personally I believe that the bigger guns like Navids and SPMG's never should have been removed. In saying this, it was quite easy to obtain these weapons considering how powerful they were. My solution to this is to make the ammo for these weapons only craftable. In saying this, the materials for the ammo needs to be hard to obtain and expensive to gather to reduce the activity of these weapons. Judicial Government - I have no say in this as I have no interest in part-taking in any Lawyer roleplay, but I do think it would add to the immersion. Rebel Takeover - With Sydney back in the picture, rebel takeovers are going to be coming back regardless. More robberies - The game 110% needs more robberies. Even when there were 2 banks (Westpac and Brisbane) it got kind of dull. Every body was accustomed to each of the banks and obviously after you do the same thing over and over again for a long time it gets rather boring. The way the game is now is terrible, there is one bank that is extremely rebel sided to start with and the positioning of the bank itself makes a majority of the community lose considerable amounts of frames that makes it almost unplayable. Luckily my PC is powerful enough to handle it or I don't think I would even hit or respond to bank. A good start would be to add another bank or even another 2 banks and potentially changing the position of Westpac would be appreciated. Formalising gangs - I don't think that gangs need to be "formalised". Gangs are essentially a group of people who share a common interest and work together to achieve goals. It is not necessary to implement anything that isn't already in the game to make rebels more formal. There are already gang bases which create conflict between rival gangs, for example when one gang decides to have a gang war with another gang which has control over a gang base. At the end of the day these are just my opinions.

I have also been actively completing Induction trainings to a high standard which I enjoy doing. If I got a promotion to Sergeant it will allow me to bring more to the Altis Police Department as I could add charges, drag users in TS, add roles in TS etc. In conclusion, I believe I deserve a promotion to Sergeant because I have been actively taking CO, actively completing Inductions to a high standard and because I believe I have what it takes to be a Sergeant of the APD.
